Lilica eyes would narrow for a moment as she glared at Saul, a frown coming to her face as she did so. "Fine then," she would spit out, the anger in her voice obvious. "I'll go. But I have one little question for you first. How are Orik and Verik doing?"

Lilica would purse her lips some when she heard Saul's plan. She didn't like a move like that. After all, Zlincher and the others were definitely major crime bosses, and not entirely stupid. The idea of attacking them while they were all on neutral ground was... troublesome, to say the least. Almost doubly so, considering Padome was there. This whole game with Saul was a nice diversion, but Lilica still had to deal with the religion of Riddleport once he was gone. And there was no way that was going to get a good move on if she got on Padome's wrong side. "Saul," the Elf would say, a slight tone of worry in her voice. "You're telling us that you want us to go to a presumably very well guarded meeting where all the crime bosses have gathered, in neutral territory, so that we can knock out or kill two of those crime lords in front of the others? And then we just merrily stroll out again? "Don't get me wrong," Lilica would say, her tone wary. "I dislike Zlincher as much as anyone here. But I believe it would be far more prudent to simply wait the others out. So long as we show a strong face and make examples of those who want to meddle in our affairs, I remain certain that we can make it so that the others don't wish to intrude upon us anymore."

Lilica rolled her eyes at Ternock's comments, the smile not fading from her face. Then, without another word, she reached into her clothes and pulled out a Calistrian holy symbol, spinning it in her hand for a moment where the half-orc could see it. "I get the unique privilege of being paid to preform acts of my faith."

"It's like I can't step out for business without you causing a mess," a voice would say from the entrance of the Golden Goblin. Leaning against the doorway, and barely clothed at that, was an elf. She had a wide smile upon her face as she looked at the dead bodies, a veritable sparkle in her eyes as she did so. "And two new ones, hmmm?" Lilica would look Runa up and down for a moment before her gaze drifted to Sabola. Her smile would go even wider once she saw the half-orc, and the "Callistrian" would lick her lips. She would walk forward after that, dipping into a slight bow once she was closer. "Greetings and salutations. My name is Lilica. Sorry for not having met you before. My faith sometimes requires brief sabbaticals, ones that I would quite loathe to give up. But rest assured, any other time I am here, you may call upon my services at any time!" She would look at Sabola again, her tongue briefly sliding across her teeth again as she did so. "Perhaps even at a discount." "Regardless..." Lilica would look at Volk after that, the smile fading somewhat. "Terribly sorry about my absence, dearie. Even my beliefs have those who are higher ranked than me, and it would be bad form to refuse their commands, even for the sake of this job. And besides, I was positively aching to sink my nails into a little work. Got a tad vigorous in one case, had to spend a few days doing what was needed to help her along." Of course, what that actually meant was that Lilica had accidently gone a little too far with one of her clients, and had accidently killed the woman during her prayer session. Such was the risk of being a Kuthite sometimes. Still, hiding a body took time, even in Riddleport. And beyond that, there was the preparations for the upcoming Eternal Kiss. Hopefully she would be able to successfully convince the others that a certain casino owner would be worth the sacrifice....

Oh hells no. Lilica was not going to let something like that stand! If nothing else, she owed her fellow elf just a little bit of racial pride. But first, she had to eliminate this damn pest in front of her. Normal Chain Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 Chain Damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 3) + 3 = 8 If the thug dies, Lilica will step forward one square to get that lovely charge line towards Old Man Gabsen.

At 14 out of 15 HP now. Thank you Strigala, with your caster level of 2! Lilica would simply give the half-elf a curt nod in response before swinging once again at the thug in front of her. Spiked Chain (Non-painful Smite): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 Damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (1, 4) + 3 = 8

Sorry for my absence. Last few days have hit me with a combination of Work meetings, full-time studenting, and lack of steady computer access. Kudos to Tuyena for what is more or less the accurate Lilica interrogation method, which is certainly quicker than her asking the questions myself. In addition, welcome to Gramalag! May you enjoy the game. Lilica had ensured that she made up for a late delivery of service for Nicar. Of course, he probably didn't wholly realize that she was merely intensifying her normal paid experience, but his loss there. The activity lead to a peaceful night's sleep, quite possibly the most comfortable Lilica had in some time. The next morning would see Lilica coming out for the morning meeting in a lazy, half-asleep way. In all honesty, it was like watching a cat walking around a home. What would be noticeable for everyone involved was that she was half-dressed as well, and apparently not bothered by this. She would listen to Saul while he gave them another duty, nodding her agreement as she ate. She didn't pay Gramalag much mind, doing nothing more than mumbling her name when the Dwarf asked for it. The somewhat lazy attitude would continue until they reached the docks, and saw the men stealing the wine. Her eyes would light up with glee, much like they did whenever violence seemed imminent. She quickly spoke a prayer to the Midnight Lord in the elven tongue, relishing the feeling as a holy fervor gripped her soul. (Cast Wrath, gaining a +1 bonus on attack rolls for Lilica) Then she would pull out her chain, moving in front of Volk as she did so. (Move action)

Changes made to Lilica. Also, my vote is to take Rhodes with us, using the manacles that Lilica has to restrain him. In addition, Lilica is watching for cheaters, having taken 10 on a disguise check before going onto the floor. Also, how are we going to do HP? Disguise DC = 16 Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 A part of Lilica found it intensely amusing that Clegg Zincher was the one that had put Rhodes up to attacking her and the others. It was like divine providence was setting up both of the targets of her revenge in positions where they would have to take an interest in her. All it would take was a little bit of time to work into one of their graces.... Speaking of working, she had a job to do. And so she eventually exited her room and onto the gambling floor. The "fight" will be accompanied by Lilica making a Sense Motive test on the attackers. After all, she can't see what they're trying to accomplish this time, unlike the other opportunities that the robbers have taken. So maybe she'll get a hunch. Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Yay for intimidation! Oh, yeah, reminds me. If she managed to beat the DC to intimidate him by 5 or more (unlikely in this case), she tacks on another round thanks to memorable. Lilica snorted at Strigala's comment. However, that was all the response the half-elf was going to get. There was no way she was going to divide her attention from this guy, especially since she had both angered him and terrified him in a short span of time. No telling what he might decide was a good idea after that. So the half-elf would continue to keep him off guard and in as much pain as possible. Spiked Chain Painful Smite (Again): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 Spiked Chain Nonlethal Damage: 2d4 + 5 ⇒ (1, 4) + 5 = 10 Demoralization: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32

And now using held action. Painful Smite on Nicar, leaving Lilica with 4 more uses of it for the day. A gleam of absolute joy came to Lilica's eyes when Nicar charged her. With his dagger glancing off one of the armor plates of her coat, the Kuthite would swing her chain at him, a greasy black energy forming around the chain as it lashed out. Painful Smite: To Hit: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 Nonlethal Damage: 2d4 + 5 ⇒ (1, 1) + 5 = 7 Demoralize with Intimidate as free action: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15 "Don't even bother, Nicar. Lilica sighed when she saw Rhodes, shaking her head some as he talked. The Kuthite would reach into her coat, and pull out a glossy-black spiked chain. Move action She would then look Nicar in the eye, a wide smile coming to her face. "Awwww, what a gentleman," she said, her tone practically dripping sarcasm. "But what do you say to getting to the fun you payed for right now, then? You and me, together in the midst of one of the truest acts of passion in the world.... Of course, I doubt that you'd be man enough regardless, but I suppose I can work with that." Holding action now.

Six week anatomy course keeping me tied up FTW. Lilica would continue to sit in a mild haze, simply listening to the others as the effects of her over-eating continued. When Saul asked for them to deliver the money, the elf lazily nodded her consent before eventually getting up and beginning to follow the others. She would snap her fingers before they were able to fully exit the building, however. "That reminds me, we have some merchandise to sell. Anyone up to carrying some?"

A part of Lilica was vastly disappointed at the taste of the food. After all, she had embarked upon eating it in the first place because she thought that it would be what most people would consider an unpleasant endeavor. But nooooo, it had to be a damn luxury meal! Oh well. There were ways to make anything hurt, if you set your mind to it. And after all, it wasn't like she could just refuse the meal, especially if she wanted to start undermining some of Saul's ingrained trust. So she ate until she felt full. And then she ate some more, until it seemed like the slightest movement was painful. When she was done, a happy smile was upon Lilica's face. Even little acts of worship like that could hold her over for a while.

Does that sate your curiosity?" She would hold her displeasure for a short while longer, but it eventually faded when Gabsen approached for sins of the flesh once again. The morning would proceed normally after that, with Lilica eventually proceeding down the stairs. The first thing that everyone would be able to notice was that Lilica was wearing her Coat... And nothing else. She would sit down at the table with the others, crossing her legs to prevent from giving the others a free show. She spent a brief moment looking at the food in front of her as she listened to Saul. After a moment of deliberation, the elf would grab a fork. Eating something like that had to count as a form of self-torture. Especially since she knew for a fact that she wouldn't be able to stomach it. Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Lilica's reasoning is actually rather simple. You insulted her. I mean, let's face it, she's got torturing people as a hobby, and she's faking being a Calistrian. What's a person like that supposed to be like, caring and willing to turn the other cheek? I mean, it's not like she's there at the Golden Goblin to do something like abduct someone as a means to get revenge over an act he didn't even take part in, or that she even really knows about in first-hand detail.

And if you would like my assistance against the lizard... I think I can agree to that. But the other man, for all his shortcomings, is good enough by my estimation. I won't be willing to help you harm him physically for means of revenge." The Kuthite felt a little twinge of guilt and disappointment at that statement. It just felt wrong to say something like that. Like she was going against the fundamental grain of the universe. "But anyways, I'm glad you've been reasonable enough to accept my offer."

Lilica simply rolled her eyes at the glorified lizard, and simply gave him a dismissive wave as he spoke. Then, while the others filed out, Lilica would look after them for a moment before rolling up her sleeves. Her smile would ratchet down to a more neutral expression, though if you looked carefully you could see the slightest bit of amusement still upon her face. She took the five coins that were her's from the pouch, placing them in one of her coat pockets before heading out. Let the others sleep. She had work to do. She would walk outside, stopping to look at the bodies for a moment before proceeding. Once there, she would give Gabsen a gentle wave, rubbing the brow of her nose slightly as she did so. The slight amusement from her face was fading, and she mostly looked aggravated now. She would sigh some before finally speaking to the soldier. "I hate to do this," the elf would say, her tone mildly annoyed. "I know we've just met, and you really don't owe me anything, but I'm going to need to ask you a favor before we get down to my business. There's bodies that need to be disposed of in there, and everyone else decided to sleep. In addition, I don't trust many of them further than I can throw them, especially that glorified lizard. So, seeing as Saul has decided to take me on as one of those who will be responsible for his little endeavor here..." The Kuthite would pause for a moment, her foot tapping as she bit her lower lip in mild embarrassment. Then, reaching into the pocket where she had earlier placed her five gold pieces, she would pull out the coins, holding onto them for a moment before extending her hand to the man. "Consider this an initial payment. I saw how well you performed before, and even if Saul's taken you off the payroll for a moment, I am still someone he asked to help defend this establishment. So I'll foot the bill until you're once again on, and try to talk Saul into giving you as much responsibility and payment as the rest of us. The going rate will be five gold a week until then. Do you find that agreeable?" She would wait a moment for Gabsen's answer. If the guard agreed, she would give him a wide smile, one that seemed geniunely grateful. Then, she would motion for the man to follow her down the street. She had to stop by her quarters in the Silken House and retrieve her belongings, especially her weapons. What's more, she would tell the man as much, keeping everything above the table in that regard. Once she retrieved her belongings, she would return to the Golden Goblin, and begin going through the bodies of the fallen robbers (hopefully with Gabsen's help), sorting the various belongings of value, checking each bit for magic as she went. Once that was done, she would take the assorted goods up to her room to be sold the next day, after she showed it to the others and let them inspect. Gabsen was of course welcome to come on up as well, as per their agreement before he had been hired on. Over the week, Lilica will be on the floor, watching people. During her "prayer sessions" to Calistria every day, she'll read over her Blue Book to get the bonus. In addition, she'll take 10 on Disguise checks every day to look like a normal patron, and to have slightly different distracting features as well.

Lilica would look at Ternock for a moment longer, the smile still upon her face and a definite glint within her eyes. She would idly turn her Calistrian holy symbol in her hand as she did so, in clear view of most of the others present. Even those with only a bare passing familiarity with religion in the Golarion pantheon would know that Calistria was not only the goddess of lust, but also of revenge. This staredown would continue a moment longer, with Lilica being completely quiet. Then, with a sudden motion, the elf would put away the holy symbol, the smile still upon her face. She would shake her head some, chuckling slightly. "Fine. If you wish to attend to the needs of the dead over those of the living, then so be it. If you wish to insult people, then so be it. But know this, dragon. That money is for Vancaserkin's employees to decide what to do with, not you. Therefore, it is up to us to decide what to do with it. There's five gold pieces for each of us, roughly guessing from the size of that bag. Now, the rest of you can do what you want with your share, but I'd like to refrain to the decision of what to do with mine, thank you very much. The bouncers were hired by Saul, and therefore their post-death arrangements are his responsibility, not ours. As for the others... I say we strip them down, sell what we can, and then throw the bodies out onto the street. It'll serve as a warning for anyone else who happens to have any ideas about this establishment, and hopefully discourage at least some of the rabble in the future. Is that agreeable, dragon, or do you want to cheat all of us out of our rightful pay?"

Lilica would blink once or twice at the dragon, the smile finally gone from her face for what seemed like the first time that night. Indeed, it looked as if she were actually surprised. However, the surprise faded after as she saw the one obvious thing on the small beast, and the smile returned. The Kuthite would let the dragon finish before raising a finger and clearing her throat slightly. "How admirable of you," she would say to Ternock, her tone like a parent giving a very small child instructions. "You wish to tend to the sanctity and honor of those who died, and for us to fund, out of our pockets mind, these honors. Nevermind that a great many of them we didn't even know, and that nearly half tried to kill us. But before we do that, perhaps you could answer me one question." The elf would lean forward onto the table, leaning to look the draconic midget in the eyes, smiling all the while. "Where did you get that eyepatch you're wearing, hmmm?"

If Lilica cared about Strigala's competitive nature in this regard, she didn't show it. The elf would simply look at the bag of gold that Saul had put on the table, and reach into it to pull out five gold pieces. She would then look at Volk, smiling widely at him. "On second thought, it seems that Ms. Strigala there is quite interested in you. Perhaps she was simply unwilling to show her true feelings towards you because of some past hidden trauma. Perhaps you should inquire about that while we all take what is our due from the dearly departed pigeons out there. Remember to be persistent as well. Women like that." After smirking some at Strigala, Lilica would simply walk out to the main hall again and start looking over the bodies to see what was worth taking, beginning with the one-eyed woman.

I literally can't help myself on this one. It was like Lilica didn't even miss a beat. The Kuthite would sigh at the end of Volk's mini pity-party, and then with a quick movement, she opened her top. Thankfully she had custom-ordered the outfit to open as easily as possible when she wanted it to, so such actions came extremely easily. So, without a single word and nothing more than a quick wrist movement, the elf was able to flash not only Volk, but everyone else at the table as well. It would take a moment or two to close the buttons back up, but the quick flash was all everyone got to see regardless. "You can get more of a look if you do a few things," the elf would say as she buttoned the upper part of her outfit. "First, you stay a moment. We're not necessarily done talking here, nor do I like the idea of you out there pilfering people before we're all out there. Secondly, it'll cost you five silver or more, depending upon the activity." Then without even the least bit of shame on her face, Lilica returned to looking at Saul, and simply waited.

Hah! It seemed Zon-Kuthon was truly on her side today. Not only did she get to participate in some lovely religious activity, but the real target she had come here for in the first place was inviting her into his service! It was like he wanted to be abducted and tortured by someone he trusted! Regardless of this good fortune, Lilica would put on a look of consideration for a moment before replying to Saul. "Well, Mr. Vancaserkin. I suppose I could accept your generous offer," the Elf would say as she cheerfully smiled at the man, spinning the Calistrian holy symbol in everyone's view. "But I am going to have to insist upon one other condition. I will be allowed to tend to matters of my faith here. I presume it should not be too much of a problem in that regard."

Of course she actually had, and was already trying to think of ways to worm in some people from the cult into Saul's business. After all, best to have like minds working here while she pursued her own business. Granted, it would take some work to convince them in the first place, but such details could be addressed when they came up. "We can always meet up later dearie," she would say quietly to the Guard, winking at him. "I'm sure you'll find that I'm quite good at the stress-removal aspect. Perhaps you could wait for me to finish my little talk with Mr. Vancaserkin?" The elf would wait for Gabsen's reply before kissing him lightly on the cheek and walking towards the bar.

OK, guys. I know realistic character reactions are great and all, but... I think we're getting into beating a dead horse territory here. I mean, yes, moral arguments can be fun, especially IC. But I think we're getting into the repetitive territory, and that's just not fun for me or others to read. Besides, this sort of party strife this early on over what pretty much boils down to an OOC mistake on Gabsen's part doesn't give me warm happy feelings about further on down the road. I'm not saying sweep it under the rug, not by any means. But such things can still be handled over the long term.

Lilica would tsk at the motley group once again before patting Ketria on the shoulder as she was ignored. She gave the other elf a sympathetic look as she did so, and shrugged. In Elvish:
"Amazing what the short lived ones consider argument worthy, is it not? They will all live... Oh, a few decades more at the most? I say let them have their disagreements. They will pass over eventually, and struggles like these help bring an individual understanding. It may be painful to watch, but a little pain never killed someone." She would pause for a moment before speaking once again. In Elvish Again: "But out of curiousity, I think the guard has the right of it. May not have been handled in the best of manners, but I can agree with his reasoning. Yourself? Oh, and I'm Lilica, by the way. A pleasure to make a fellow fancygirl's acquaintance."

Maybe the Dice Gods will Help Me Perception Check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Or they could forsake me. That works I guess. Lilica's smile never wavered or faded as the others talked. Indeed, she only seemed to smile wider once Gabsen told his story. She took silent vindictive satisfaction at the fact that her interpretation had been right, and mouthed the words "Told Ya" at Saul. The elf would snort when Strigala suggested that they heal people, shaking her head. "Oh yes," she would say, the sarcasm heavy in her voice. "Let's deprive the Gendarmes of much-needed work, and make the violent thugs who attempted to rob the establishment and kill some of us healthy and whole and our problem again. As for healing, why waste a pretty penny on people like the half-orc who denies his lineage? Let them hurt, I say."

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 Lilica tilted her head to the side as she listened to the half-elf and ugly half-orc. Then, clearing throat, she would speak. "Are you two done flirting, or must you continue to torture us with these clumsy attempts?" She looked at Saul after that, shaking her head as she gave a disappointed tut. "No class in the young sometimes, eh?" "Regardless, the half-elf and particularly ugly half-orc speak the truth. At least, in a manner of speaking. I was indeed speaking to your guard, though not in matters of my faith. No, I was simply inquiring about you, Ser Vancaserkin. While we were talking and the half-orcs were leering at me, he and I both noticed that the man in green was peeking his head out from the s!*~ter, with a scroll in hand. Thus forewarned, we were able to close our eyes before the lightshow. Combat happened, I melted off some faces, etcetera. And then, your guard attempted to kill the one-eyed woman, before she could take the not-as-ugly half-orc hostage or attempt to take part in revenge at a later day. Sadly, he was not quite fast enough, and the woman slew the half-breed. And the thanks he gets for his heroism? Blame for the crime, and a brutal attack on his person. Why, he's not even conscious, and they try to name him an accessory!" She would give a stage whisper to the guardsman. "Honestly, they seem rather eager to place blame elsewhere, don't you think?"

Lilica's smile didn't waver once the Gendarme's arrived. It simply kept at the wide smile it had been at previously as she stepped away from the podium, as per the instructions that they had given. Of course, she made sure to wipe her boot off on one of the less bloody bodies as she moved along. No need to cause any undue alarm, after all. What she would do is listen closer in order to keep abreast of the situation. After all, it would be quite interesting to see what all Saul had to say about this.

Ah, glorious! People screaming everywhere, dying in agony... Honestly, this was probably the best night out Lilica had in some time. While she would have loved to make Little Miss One-Eye into Little Miss No-Eyes, there was enough to entertain her at her feet. She looked down at the man who laid bleeding at her feet, a wide smile on her face. Then, as if the action was as casual as clipping her nails, Lilica stepped down on his throat, and simply pushed down until he stopped moving, or she began to feel his spine. Whichever came first. Throat-Crushing Coup Goodness: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4, 1) + 4 = 9 Coup on the dying thug at Lilica's feet.

Welp, can't see the map for Roll20. Oh well. Oh, and sorry for not being available for the past couple of days. Holidays, etc. Sense Motive: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 Oooooh. That half-elf was smart. Seriously, the quality of employee Saul was picking up would have made more than a few crime-lords within the city jealous. Even if she wasn't already set on ensuring that Vancaskerkin got taken down, this display of competence would make him a good target anyways. He just had so much to lose! Well, may as well keep up the charade. She once again cast the acid spell, and tossed it once again at the man in green. If the one orc's bit of magic finished off the man... Well, she could just wait until she saw the chest move or something, or for one of the hirelings to move towards the chest, and then splatter them with face-dissolving goodness. Acid Splash touch: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3 Or not.
You can do all the actions you listed, and still be lawful. Allow me to demonstrate. 1). Galt. Just Galt. Stabilizing that hot mess will require fighting against the government. 2). Disagreements will happen, period. Hell, I can tell you with certainty that clerics of Asmodeous will fight amongst each other, and I don't think many would quibble about them being lawful. 3). It's not stealing if you see it and practice it on your own. That's just learning. 4). Borderline, but... Minions exist for a reason. Also, say a person has done nothing technically outside of the law, but still deserves what's coming. Can't very well fight him yourself, now can you? 5). Lawful people do have a tendency to have a personal moral code, or may operate off a different set of laws. This case would be like comparing the tenants of Torag and Asmodeous.
