For Nel I just recommend you staying behind a wall no matter what otherwise death is very real. Right now Ternock is drowning and unless we start killing people he will continue to die, as we cant afford to do what he did and leave himself out in the open. I would advise to Lilica to wait by this wall and ready for them to come to us.

Thug Save vs. Fear: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Fear Duration: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Strigala's fear takes root and the thug runs away down the pier.
The thug moving up to attack Volk gets whipped by Lilica, hard. He changes his mind and swings at her instead.

And the other moves up to the wall and attacks Gramlag through cover.
Thug Attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
The last has nothing to do for this round and merely readies if someone gets close.

Volk Tulmere |

Volk looks to Ternock then back to the party then back to where Ternock fell " Damn... I'm Mad.. Archer.. I'm coming for you " Said with.. almost no emotion as if the sentence was drinking water.
He pre-emptively makes a dark rift and takes a step back afterward progressing the line forward.
Kinetic Cover and move back, its almost Counter attack time

Ternock |

Look at those rolls, statistical anomaly.
Ternock gets hit by people with surprisingly good throwing arms. Finally as the last javalins hits he can't take the pain and falls plummeting in the water below.
Con Check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Con Check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Gramlag |

Gramlag feels i gut wrenching sense of worry as he sees his new dragon companion drop into the waves after being struck by arrows and javelins. Im supposed to be keeping these people safe and one is already dying, if only i could reach him but the waves are far to rough id sink like a stone... Gramlag thought to himself, the worry for the dragon distracting him from the heat of battle
But Gramlag knew he needed to keep fighting or the others would meet the same fate so he continued to swing and hopped for the best
pair of attacks on the guy immediately to the right of Gramlag
attack roll: 1d20 ⇒ 18
damage roll: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
attack roll: 1d20 ⇒ 18
damage roll: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
well look at that, despite loosing my attack bonus temporarily i think those are hits? unless these guys have wicked dex. do i describe the hits or does the GM do that? cuz i dont know for sure if i hit or not

Volk Tulmere |

Archer is out of range (close range so.. 30)and you are already behind total cover.. its the reason the archer did not immediately kill you, you can try and blind one of the mooks though. You would have to move from cover to cover.

Strigala |

Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Strigala steps forward, moving to stand behind Lilica, and reaches out to touch the woman as she chants. As she calls upon the the divine power, her eyes begin to glow with light as her body is surrounded more and more by that nimbus of positive energy. She ignores the tormented screams of the malevolent spirits that surround her as they are tormented by the energy she calls upon, instead focusing just on healing Lilica.
"That archer seems determined to be a threat."

Lilica Fancygirl |

At 14 out of 15 HP now. Thank you Strigala, with your caster level of 2!
Lilica would simply give the half-elf a curt nod in response before swinging once again at the thug in front of her.
Spiked Chain (Non-painful Smite): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (1, 4) + 3 = 8

And the other attacks Gramlag through cover.

Volk Tulmere |

Volk secures his allies advance then nods to Strigala and Lilica while he rushes off behind the semi-tangible Distortions in space. It was time for him to try and save Ternock, hopefully the little dragon had strong lungs.
Make another wall interposing between Lilica and the Archer behind the next Thug making a Stepladder of cover overall then moves to try and ave Ternock behind another cover

Strigala |

Melee Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Crit Confirmation: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Crit Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Strigala frowns as she sees the thugs pressing their attacks. Cursing beneath her breath, she moves to in front of Kertria and swings her morningstar at the thug next to Gram, swinging it with all of her might and hoping to kill the guy in one blow.
"Get behind one of these barriers before that archer uses you as a quiver!"

Gramlag |

Gramlag sees that the fight is going their way, his mind is still on the small dragon that is sinking beneath the choppy waters "Can any o you swim? that little one needs our help and ill sink like a stone!" he said hoping one of his companions took swimming lessons at some point
The leader of these grunts was next to make his assault on Gramlag, and as he swung Gramlag knew there is power in this man's blows and he needs to be very careful to not get hit but this man needed to be put down as well for every ones safety so Gramlag swung away. gramlag wanted to keep this mans attention so he goaded him on saying "thats what you call a swing? the power is good but if you cant hit the broad side of a dwarf what good is it?"
attack roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
damage roll: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
but the swing was also as bad as his opponents and he failed to land, this man was sizing up to be trouble

Lilica Fancygirl |

Lilica growled as another thug decided to take a chunk out of her, and the dark energy would gather around her chain again as she swung. Three uses left for Painful Smite
Painful Chain Smite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Damage: 2d4 + 5 ⇒ (1, 2) + 5 = 8

Kertria Orlevirrea |

Just got off work, sorry. Okay, lets see...
Kertria takes a 5 foot step forward, hoping to assist their new ally Gramlag.
"Just go down!"
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Volk Tulmere |

Volk takes a running start and leaps into the water attempting to get Ternock.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
He somersaults in and tries to fight off the waves a bit, going near the bottom, before picking up Ternock and holding him above water.
Swim: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (13) - 4 = 9

DM Tuyena |

Seeing Volk run into the crashing water and lifting Ternock out of the water Like Simba being lifted from Pride Rock I'm imagining, the Archer moves to the edge of the pier and takes aim at Ternock.
Shoot: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Damage: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (6, 3) + 10 = 19

Volk Tulmere |

I must leave fairly soon and as Strigala might post when I am gone I shall do this so you know what Volk is doing his round
Seeing the arrow sticking out of the dragon, Volk aadjusts his eyes in the water and sees the Archer. Before he had showed no emotion, but now it was clear, this was anger. He however had priorities... first he would need to secure Ternock. Floating to the Bottom Volk walked along the rocks up to the shore with his feet. He arrived on the opposite side of his previous wall and then looked. " Someone Get to him NOW! And you Archer.. I'm going to KILL YOU! "
He reared back and spiraled Ternock to the spot throwing him a softly as possible while still getting him to safety
THIS IS THE TERNOCK THAT WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (19) - 3 = 16

Gramlag |

Gramlag can only watch in horror as the longsword this old man wields slices the girl who called herself Kertria almost in half, and Gramlag had seen enough battle to know there was no saving her, she was dead before she hit the ground, and while sadness flashed across his mind he knew the rest could join her fate if he let himself react to that now. time to press the fight and mourn later, carefull blows to try and strike his foe are whats needed.
one swing, not sure how hard he is to hit so wanna play safe
attack roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
damage roll: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
