Seeing Giri run Kendra focuses and as her black axe appears to have burple enegy coming off of it, and as she rounds the corner she swipes her axe diagonally across at her would be enemy. Swift action for Arcane Strike, 5 ft step and attack. Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

Kendra takes her black battleaxe and pulls it back as if about to throw it, but holds on as she swings it from the top of the stars/slide and with her innate magic the weapon elongates out to about 20ft and heard towards the attacking statue. Kendra keeps the lights moving away from them and makes the beetle go as far away as possible. What do we see inside, is there another doorway in the chamber that we can run through? if so Kendra will signal to the group to run across and get through the door while the beetle is busy, if not then Kendra will signal to the group to get the body and pull it back here.

"Hold on. Is the beetle trying to talk to us or something?" Kendra holds for a moment to see the beetles reaction next. "leave that man be and scuttle long beetle." She says firmly. but if the beetle comes at her she'll attack with an overhead chop of her axe. Readied Action: ]Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11 Jeez, she is clearly not good at this fighting thing.
