Kyra channels a burst of positive energy that harms almost all of the undead, the only one not being harmed standing around the corner of the doorway. The prone skeleton Giri failed to hit crumbles, as does the skeleton in the back. The other three skeleton within the burst are heavily damaged by the energy.

"Boney b*tch!" Kendra yells and brings her club over her head in a double handed chop to try crumble the remaining skeleton.
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

StephNyan |

The skeleton Kendra's aiming for steps aside, and her attack chops right past it.
The skeletons in the back say "clickety clack" with their teeth, but aren't in a position to do anything else.
Round 2:

![]() |

Oh yes, Save DCs, sorry about that... Been a while since I've played an offensive spell caster.
Crystal looks at Kyra.
Oh, you can destroy them with just a word?
There is a bit of awe in her voice before she recovers and assumes her normal haughty self confidence.
Let me see how they like to freeze! With that she flicks her finger and a small ball of freezing cold flys out at the skeleton the fell and just stood up.
Acid Splash (cold), touch - shoot into melee: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 2 - 4 = 7
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1

Giri launches some more attacks, slowly getting used to the weird new creatures.

Faelyn's Pregen |

Channel Positive Energy: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 Will save DC 12 for half damage. Also, undead do not gain their Channel Resistance against this if any.
Kyra smiles at Crystal's awe. "That is the power of the Dawnflower. Undead cannot abide the radiance of her fury!" Once again she raises her holy symbol high and floods the chamber with a golden light!

StephNyan |

Crystal shoots a small ball of freezing cold that goes wide. Giri stabs the skeleton in front of him twice, but stabbing in between a skeleton's ribs proves ineffective. Kyra raises her holy symbol again and sends out another wave of positive energy, which spells certain destruction for all of the skeletons within reach. After Kyra's channel only a single skeleton remains, standing around the corner of the doorway.
Round 3:
Kendra

Kendra who rightfully is very ineffective of late takes another wile swing with her iron shod club at the last skeleton.
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

@Kendra: Please move your token next time.
Kendra moves up to the last skeleton and whacks it, finally being productive in this fight.

Claw: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
The skeleton takes a swing at Kendra, who dodges its claw. Kendra's then hit by the skeleton's other claw, which rips her arm open.
Round 3:

Round 4:
Kendra 5/10
Red Skeleton
Giri
Crystal
Kyra
I'll assume Kyra used some channels to heal all of you after the fight with the wolves, before you went to bed. She could easily have done so. This means only Kendra's currently wounded.
You're all up again before the red skeleton is, so Kendra doesn't have to wait till round 4 starts before she may post again.

Giri hops around and tries to stab at the moving bones.

Crit Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Any Moooooore? he says glancing around the room.

![]() |

After a time Crystal sweeps into the room looking around for whatever she can see. She is particulary looking to see what kind of skeletons these are. Are they human, or some other type of creature.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
Where did all these bodies come from, and does anyone see any evidence of why they were raised up?
I would be surprised if even Peasants thought this an appropriate challenge for their children.

![]() |

Giri shrugs and moves to the nearest door, giving the skeletons a wide berth. He listens closely at the door for danger before opening it. If he deems it safe he softly tries to open the door, otherwise he gives a heads up to the others before doing so.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Faelyn's Pregen |

"I believe this is exactly why we were tasked to investigate the crypt. I cannot imagine any civilized group of people, other than those barbarians from the north, sending their children into a crypt infested with skeletons looking to claw them to death. We must be wary."
Kyra then enters the crypt and whispers a prayer to Sarenrae before touching her scimitar and illuminating the darkness. She smiles at the sight. "No darkness can keep back the light of the Dawnflower."

StephNyan |

Crystal takes a look at the smashed skeletal remains and sees they're extremely old. As old as the Crypt itself.
Giri starts a thorough search of the entry hall while Kyra illuminates the darkness for herself and her allies without darkvision. There's nothing of interest to be found inside the entry hall, save for a door to the east and a door to the west.

![]() |

Old... Something wakes the bodies deeper in the crypt. she says absently while looking at the skeletons.
As they approach the door she speaks up again. Remember the townsfolk set some traps... You don't want to fall into them.

![]() |

Crystal stays a bit behind Kyra, not wanting to be too far behind the other woman in case more of the walking dead are around.

StephNyan |

Giri opens the door and, after a 10-foot corridor, another room's revealed. In the center of this room is a large pool of clear water, fed by a fountain on the wall above it. The fountain has a stone statue of a weeping maiden holding the slain body of Kassen, but his head has been broken off and is nowhere to be seen. A voice booms out from the darkness, saying, “Magic is the key.” The voice slowly fades, leaving a dreadful silence.

Faelyn's Pregen |

"'Magic is the key', eh?" Wondering if there is some sort of magic about the room, Kyra will cast Detect Magic from the doorway to check for any magical auras while she waits for Giri to give the all clear signal.
Crystal, I can use Kyra's CLW on you if you'd like?

Faelyn's Pregen |

Kyra smiles at her ingenuity, but then inwardly chastises herself for such thoughts. 'It is The Dawnflower's guidance that illuminated your path.' "There is a key in the pool below that is magical. Giri, could you make sure there is nothing here that will kill me before I reach into the water?"

![]() |

That would be great. even if it's only 5 points.
Kendra walks over and looks into the pond.
"I've got this. Which key is it?"
Casts Mage hand to lift the key out of the pond if Kyra points it out.

![]() |

Crystal casts Dancing Lights to illuminate any dark corners of the room.
Is there anything else to be seen in here?
Perhaps the key opens another door in the crypt? Or is there anything else magic in the room, A part of the wall or the statue?
She looks around to see if she can see anything.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

![]() |

Giri scratches his head.
"Mrrraybe dooooor wreeeeep in prrrrevious rooooom?"
The small frogman says as he makes his way back to the chamber they came from. He listens closely at the unopened door before trying it.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

StephNyan |

As you re-enter the entry hall you hear wailing come from behind the east door. You open the door, revealing a large chamber that contains a maze of pillars that obscure the far side of the room. Next to the door is a pile of empty saddlebags and three brooms. The wailing's louder in this room, and seems to come from behind a door to the south.
The map's been updated!

![]() |

Kendra goes up to each of the doors because she's not sure which of the two doors the sound is coming from and gives a listen but doesn't touch the doors.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
And goes deaf. Ugh she is the worst.

StephNyan |

As Kendra moves over to the south door, she spots a switch in one of the room's alcoves (marked with an S).
Ref, Kendra: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Non-lethal Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Then, before she even reaches the door, Kendra falls into a 10-foot deep pit trap (brown square). She lands atop a mound of pillows at the bottom of the pit, which cushions her fall. Still, Kendra ends up with some minor bruises.

![]() |

Giri gulps as Kendra falls in the trap and suddenly bursts out laughing once he discovers that she's safe. He walks to the edge of the pit, goes on all fours and climbs down a bit. He holds a hand out for her to climb up.
After Kendra is out of the pit he takes it upon himself to search for traps in the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Faelyn's Pregen |

Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
"Kendra, are you okay?" Once she is back out of the pit, Kyra whispers a prayer to Sarenrae and places her hands upon the women to heal her injuries.
Sorry that took so long to post, been very busy lately. So all your nonlethal damage is healed and 3 of your lethal as well!

![]() |

Kendra nods to Kyra. "Much better now that you're here." She says as her bruises disappear and her wounds begin to close.
"Wonder what other surprises this place has in store for us."

![]() |

"Me frrrrast, wreeeeep I taaaake switch farrrrrthest bribbbbit away."
The little frog man says as he makes his way to the switch.
"Whrro do tsk couuuuntdown?"
He adds, sure that it's a bad idea if he does that.

![]() |

While I'm glad to see you recognize your betters, I can not claim that title yet. Crystal seriously says to Kendra.
OK on Three: One, Two, Three
On Three she throws her switch.
