"Hiiragi! Onna! Your eyes are ever sharper or sitting down all day has me duller. I feel like a new man being out here and seeing this joyous occasion. One more day cooped up and I would have been a crotchety old court noble...how drab! Yet this day isn't about me...it is about you two and of course celebrating as much as possible. How have your days been?" Juzo says, turning on his charm after a small frown at being spotted. He also pulls out a bottle of the finest Taldan wine for the couple when he mentions celebrating.

Another arrives but stays sheepishly on the outskirts to watch the festivities. The corners of his mouth curl up into a smile of true happiness but his eyes and tears hold more to them.

"Oh the adventures they must have seen. If only I had not been called away...but today is for celebrating! To all of them, especially the wedded." he muses to himself.

That is a shame but no worries. I'll check back in case others show up out of the blue.

Looks like we have a warpriest too, so maybe Arcanist atm.

I have been getting drained tbh (GMing a special for the first time didn't help either). Trying some new medications and life has been pretty busy. I may need to sit this one just to recover so I can handle games more effectively.

"Well, it certainly didn't seem godly in power but there was something speaking out to us that was in control but a little embellishment never hurt anyone. I myself wouldn't mind going down in an Ekujae legend!" Juzo beams as Elder Kalwe speaks.

Later at the party Juzo revels in the attention flirting relentlessly while imbibing in whatever alcohol they provide./ He changes between his two forms as a way to impress and entertain.

"Oh, fantastic party! You really know how to celebrate here...does the paint stay when I transform? I don't want to waste such art in my pursuit of entertainment." he chuckles.

"If it is coming with I highly reccomend binding tightly, limbs and mouth. His words can poison just as easily as those claws if you aren't careful. If more decide to go his route then you might have a bigger problem." Juzo recommends as as he stares at the creature with his rapier ready.

"Well, started to feel like my old...unskilled self with batman way up there. Everything okay? It sounded like Toshiko got hurt pretty badly. Need me to come up st-" he starts to complain and ask before a Kenta comes falling down near him.

"Alright then!" he laughs at the pile of fur.

Are there any spaces I could climb up and be able to stand? Looks like all the remaining ledges are less than half the space.

Juzo grits his teeth and puts his arm into launching the spear at his enemy.

"Wanna throw that thing down here once you get up top? I don't think there is enough room for all of us." Juzo says putting away the rapier and drawing the spear given to him by the elves.

Draw Spear and step back.

Juzo hurries over to put more pressure on the archer before he sticks any more allies.

"I can't imagine how you are still confident in having the upper hand. A booming voice in a cave isn't going to save you." he mocks.

Double Move.

Juzo begins sprinting around the altar in case the enemy tries to flee.

"You can't be that deranged...the odds are clearly against you after we skewered your minions. Give up so I don't have to embarrass myself climbing again." Juzo says with some annoyance at the bat-thing.

Extremely sorry. Typhoon Hagibis has get me scrambling go get some things handled here but I hope to be back on stable posting tomorrow.

Juzo moves up with rapier in hand and prepares for the zombies to descend.

"These slow things shouldn't pose much of a threat!" he scoffs.

Move Action: Move. Standard Action: Ready Attack (When in range).

If attacked will use an AoO to activate Opportune Parry and Riposte.

Ah sweet!

Juzo barely shakes off the fear but is able to hold himself together...if a little shaky thanks to the inspiration from Takabe.

He pulls out his yellowheart spear and heaves it at the skull.

Spear: 1d20 + 6 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 6 + 1 - 2 = 12
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 5

Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 Shaken.
Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Frightened.

Juzo flees from the creatures after his spell has no effect.

"Too late for regrets...there are flying skulls up here that are actually endangering me." Juzo calls back down sarcastically.

He manifests negative energy from his mind sending a wave outwards while staring at the yellow skull.

Hypnotic/Painful Stare@Yellow: -2 Will Saves.
Bane: -1 penalty on attack rolls and a -1 penalty on saving throws against fear effects for 1 minute. Will 14 to negate.

Accelerated Climb: 1d20 - 1 - 5 ⇒ (18) - 1 - 5 = 12

"Oh great! I am already terrible at climbing." Juzo says while attempting to scramble up the rope quickly.

"Have to add something about dead bodies into the motto where we are concerned. At least it hasn't been one of our dead bodies...oh and no rope here." he adds sadly but perks up as Onna pulls out one.

Taking 10 if I can.

"Sounds troublesome more than interesting. Look at this place, it clearly is keeping something in or out. Do be careful." he warns the others as they observe the monoliths.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

"Thank you for your hospitality thus far. I will just take a spear for now. Is there anything else you could share? I truly want this alliance to be a success. My reputation is on the line." Juzo replies after hearing about the bow.

"You spend all these favors getting trained by some of the best Taldan duelist then you are handed wooden sticks. Do you have a spare bow to go with these arrows? I would be in your debt..." he says with a smile.

"I am fine. Thought I was going to take ill for a small time but overcame it." Juzo boasts.

"She is speaking the truth, Fola Barun. The speaker is beautiful and clever to hear us out. We seek to uphold the bargain Sharrowsmith made and make new allies." Juzo says with a bow and clever smile.

"I don't want my silver tongue falling off on some random vial but Kenta isn't dead. I will give it a sniff." he says popping the cork and wafting some fumes towards him.

"Grapefruit? Are they carrying around perfume? Maybe they should have used some more...it reeks with the one over there cut in two." he says looking back at the carnage.

"Ultimately we are investigating the death and debts of one Neiford Sharrowsmith but killing Apsis is a wonderful consolation, it seems. Would you happen to know anything about this?" he asks politely to the two.

Juzo sits down cleaning himself off grumbling the whole time.

When the others start to taste the potions he dusts himself off and heads over.

"Did you call me Hiragi?"

"KENTA! I am absolutely covered in gore now. At least warn me next time!" Juzo cries out as the fool in front of him falls to pieces followed but a disgusted sigh.

"Surrender! I need to get cleaned up and you are dragging this out." Juzo demands closing on the remaining foe not really thinking as he still thrusts at them with his rapier whilst complaining.

"Well, I haven't heard you give up yet so pardon the pain." Juzo laughs as he steps to the opposite side of Kenta for a thrust.

Okay, so I missed a bunch of bonuses. Time to make a sticky note. Haha. That is +3 damage I missed on the damage rolls and the extra attack from banner, lol.

Forgot to add Inspire Courage to the Riposte in case that comes into effect.

"I can't let you take all the attention, Kenta. Wait for me!" Juzo calls out following behind with his rapier.

Move Action: Move 30ft.
Swift Action: Hypnotic Stare/Painful Stare on Green.
Standard Action: Attack adding Painful Stare damage for this round.

He arrives with a flourish and stab at the man in front of him.

"Kitsune! Get it right!" he taunts the opponents.

Juzo stares in disbelief as the plan actually worked.

"Well, I'll be damned."

Well, I don't have any way to attack them when submerged so I delay I suppose?

"Onna dear, I don't think your plan is going to well. It is far too hard for me to stab them in quicksand." Juzo suggests.

Juzo is also wearing his hot weather outfit.

"Well, I met a lot of attractive and well-funded people but gathered far less information than you Takabe, good work!" he says a little bitter.

"A drunk mind speaks a sober heart!" Juzo says wistfully.

"You keep waking up on our missions. Just can't get enough of this group or one of us keeps talking you into it while you are gone." he finishes with a shrug and wink.

Walking through the markets Juzos eyes sparkle with interest at the exotic goods.

"What lovely and exotic goods. Those could win over quite a few more materialistic rivals...but shopping is for another time." he laughs quietly.

However the sparkle intensifies almost as if he was under his own hypnotic stare when Allahe introduces herself. He takes her hand and gives an extremely deep bow.

"The pleasure is ours, completely." he swoons before following her with the rest of the group.

Listening intently to the briefing and thinking about what is to come he stays relatively silent. He grimaces at the thought of nasty bugs everywhere and adds the repellent to his shopping list.

"We should be able to handle this mission with ease. I am somewhat of a charmer and just look at us." he jokes.

"Onna, they also seem to like us dealing with the post-mortem affairs of members of the Society. Did we check a box on some paperwork for this?" he complains himself.

Arriving next is a lithe Taldan man garbed in dueling leathers, a ebony rapier of exceptional craftsmanship and a matching buckler adorned with a starburst that matches the eye on his mask. He waltzes in with a smug demeanor and adds a charming smile when he sees Hiiragi.

At first the others may not be sure who the individual is but the ebony fox mask attached to his belt and the black spider atop his shoulder give it away.

"Hiiragi! Don't look so miserable...we are alive after all. How have you been these past few weeks? Busy myself calling in some favors to prepare for the next mission." he waits only a moment before assuring her of his identity.

"It is Juzo! I did have a human form under that mask and those robes after-all. Some nobles get nervous if you wear one outside of a masquerade." he offers his hand to shake not paying any attention to the newcomer yet.

Juzo groans at the embrace shuffling around in the giant arms.

"We have had enough near death experiences today!" he complains before relaxing to just let it happen.

"Well, if there is anything I can say it is that I am impressed with your skill in deceit and your ability to escape the situation." Juzo says rather frankly.

He then pauses nods his head and continues.

"As for your past...it is only information and experience. We do what we must and that I understand, unless you try to lure me into the Uskwood." he finishes.

Those more perceptive notices he has some nervous jitters as he listened whether it was dancing hands or shifting in place. He was uncomfortable learning such new information but doesn't like to show it.

"This almost being killed...well...this is not to my liking. At least in the courts you wouldn't see it coming or have to smell its awful breath." Juzo says after the coast is clear.

Time to do some maneuvering at home to get training. The Pathfinder Society is going to be the death of me if not.

Hearing the plot Juzo cracks a smile and chuckles.

"Now I don't know who I fancied more on this trip. The cunning merchant or the hidden Janni. I will go with you, Jamila, as you plan did not fail like his." he adds with a bow.

At the funeral Juzo wastes no times being privy to the conversations and business of the Ten or Satrap Court members. Platitudes, introductions, and probing for information.

Hand Crossbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

He steps back and tries to fire off a shot from his crossbow but the battle has him off balance.

Okay, I misremembered that it targeted the center first then outwards. Idk his HD so I wanted a backup incase it can't even target him but I will do that.

Juzo steps back before finishing his cast.

The area of effect was is over Gaspar and Green. Gaspar still has Hypnotic Stare (-2 Will Saves)/Painful Stare. Sleep DC 15.

If I didn't get to start my cast of Sleep before the battle I start now.

Earlier...

"I don't like thinking about any death including myself...next time let us not fight everything that we come across." he says unscathed but shaken by the experience.

When they come upon the caravan...the sigh released by Juzo would be enough to blow down a sand dune.

"This certainly has to go better than the last ordeal. Bandits are an enterprising bunch that we can work something out...at least till things are more in our favor." he muses while Onna works.

After hearing the offer he smiles knowing that at least it will only be at max two of them leaving the mortal plane till the plan is hatched at least which leaves him lack jawed.

Juzo begins to watch Gaspar playing with his mind.
Hypnotic Stare/Painful Stare active on Gaspar.

He then begins centering his emotion preparing a spell for the hobgoblins.

Feeling more confident as one harpy falls he fires on the other.
