Is there a way for subscribers to get the 25% OpenGaming discount? I’m not seeing anywhere on the checkout pages to enter a code, I’m guessing because my subscription discount is already applied.

Does this mean a new website is coming??? Please let this mean a new website is coming…. :)

Take my money!!!! All of it, seriously. I'm buying Bounty 3 and running it for my group in 10 minutes because Foundry is that awesome and easy to use!! Please please please please give us Bestiary token packs as soon as you can, it's really all that's missing from this fantastic platform!

I’ve never understood the randomized booster business model. I bought two different case sets a couple of years ago and was just disappointed because of it. For the amount of money these things cost I would rather be able to buy a case that has every figure in the set and duplicates of commonly used figures which would make them viable for use in an actual campaign. I just don’t see how it’s cost effective to use this current model for actual tabletop gameplay. Are these really just meant for collectors?

I converted to Foundry from Fantasy Grounds and I'll never look back. There are well over 20 community developers for the PF2 system in Foundry and the UX is in the middle of an upgrade that you'd think came from a full time paid dev team. The sheer number of volunteer developers means they can roll out features that the community wants on a release schedule that the paid VTT's can't compete with.

Also, the PRD content is included for free. You don't have to buy anything to play PF2 other than the base VTT.

While there may not be a "marketplace" to buy all the premade content there are devs working on ingest modules for the official Paizo .pdf files. The initial version, which I believe is currently available, works with Age of Ashes volume 1. I used the alpha version of it and within a couple minutes I had every thing I needed from my official .pdf right there in Foundry. I had to tweak it a bit to get everything in the order I wanted but it saved me dozens of hours of not having to copy/paste the text in.

This community is absolutely amazing and we're adding new developers every day! Opps, I just went back and checked the latest count and we're up to 33 volunteer devs on the PF2 system. Even the pro's are going to have a hard time competing with that! If you want to get involved stop by the FP2E channel on the Foundry Discord and drop us a line!

Please process the order! Thank you and good luck to the team in opening back up and processing the back log!

Hello! I bought PFS Quest 1 Sandstone Secret on Fantasy grounds but it's not showing up in my Digital Content despite the fact that fantasy grounds says the sync was successful. I had another product that did sync successfully so I know there isn't an issue with my accounts being linked. Thanks!

Paizo friends,

I placed the subject order on Sunday the 15th and it's still showing as pending. Just wanted to follow and up and make sure there wasn't an issue. I know conditions out there are not ideal at the moment so no worries if you're just running behind. Thanks!

Am I missing something here? Using a feat to replace a 5sp Material Component pouch just seems like a total waste of a feat. Right?

Just got an email saying order complete and was able to download

Can we get an update on PFS subs please? Still not showing in my downloads but they are available for me to buy in the store. I got the order email so that worked properly. Thanks!

SShadowtail24,

Are you envisioning this game making enough progress quick enough to participate in the official feedback of the playtest?

I would love to join you on this adventure!

I am very new to play by post and just started playing Ironfang Invasion a couple weeks ago. I wasn't really sure what to expect from PbP but I fell in love with this medium almost instantly.

During in person play I find myself preferring combat as the improv needed for good role playing can be difficult and awkward. In the PbP medium I quickly found myself drawn very much to the RP element as there is time to think things through. I'm able to really get inside my characters head and make decisions that are much more thought out and in line with what I envision him to be like.

If you select me I'll probably make a clone of Rolar, the Dwarf Fighter I'm currently playing in Ironfang Invasion. You can read all about him here: Rolar Lonebeard.

I don't have many posts yet but here are a few samples of what I do have.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Just got this email....

When Paizo was planning this year's Pathfinder Playtest, we expected to exceed our own ability to fulfill orders on a timely basis, so we decided to use Fulfillment by Amazon. Unfortunately, Amazon's reports indicate that most customers will not be receiving their orders by tomorrow's release date. They shipped 3 orders on July 28, 3 more on July 29, and no orders on July 30 or 31. Today, they have shipped almost 10% of the outstanding orders, and they are continuing to ship through the night and into tomorrow. They have so far been unable to tell us when they will complete shipping. We will be posting updates as we receive them in this forum thread on paizo.com.

It might be coming in one of Amazon's little white vans if you're close enough to a distribution center. (Note I haven't received mine yet, but most of my packages from Amazon come from their own delivery service since they opened a warehouse in my town.)

That's a really good point. I live in Northern VA, outside of Washington DC and whenever I order things same day or next day they come from the distribution center at Baltimore Washington International and are delivered by the little white vans. I'm guessing BWI is a major distro center for the east coast so they probably have some of the orders there. Here's to hoping!

I'm not sure I understand how these are actually being shipped. I'm signed up for both USPS Informed Delivery and UPS My Choice which alerts me to packages inbound to my address regardless of whether or not they have a tracking number. If I understand the intent of Paizo correctly, that the books should be delivered as close to 2 August as possible, then my books should be en route right now. However, neither USPS or UPS are reporting anything inbound to my address. For those who have received it are they using a different shipping company?

I’d be ok with the monthly subscription if it gets me the content as well. For instance, if I pay a monthly fee for Starfinder then I also get all the updates for that system. This model of pay for “server access” and then pay again for rules content is bogus.

Dotting.

To be upfront I am a total newbie at this so I totally understand if you would prefer some vets. I just learned about PbP from listening to the Know Direction Paizocon 2018 recording of Getting into the World of Play-by-Post and it sounded like a lot of fun!

I have most of the Pathfinder source material but I've probably spent more time reading than playing over the past three years as I haven't had much luck in getting an in person group together and the 5-6 hour per shot time commitment is very hard to work into my schedule.

Bottom line is that I've been dying to start playing an Adventure Path for years now and PbP seems like the perfect forum for my busy life.

Now on to my first newbie question. Once I finish writing up my character pitch where do I post it...

I believe in format-shifting to a degree... if I buy a CD of an album and want to rip it to MP3 to use on a smaller player... I'm not very concerned with what my literal legal entitlement is. I bought digital music, period. But if I attend a concert and hear the music live, I bought a totally different experience, and I'm not entitled to a digital recording, I think. If I buy a book, I don't think I'm automatically entitled to an audio book version, or an e-book unless I make it myself. So hey, those Paizo books I own in paper only, I don't think I deserve in electronic format, and vice-versa. But that's me.

That's a very fair analogy. I guess the difference for me is that with a traditional book I would never have a reason to buy it again in a different format. Nor would I be so heavily invested in a single line of reading books. Also, I am perfectly within my rights to copy every single word of text from my physical copies of those books and into Realm Works. That's the real rub for me. Its not like Paizo is expending any additional effort to produce the .pdf over the print books like they would have to for an audio book. Heck, they give .pdfs away for free to subscribers, which i would totally do if their prices were a little more competitive with their distributors. But when you combine the increased cost of the books and shipping you actually end up paying more than you saved by getting a free .pdf.

I would really appreciate a response from Paizo on this. Even if it is just to say suck it up, or that they're reviewing the policy.

I own thousands of dollars of physical Pathfinder products. So I either pay for the same content twice or abandon my collection of physical copies. What a crappy position to put your customers in. I'd totally sign up for for the subscriptions but the prices aren't even remotely competitive with their resellers and they charge shipping, that's so 1999. #firstworld problems

Well that makes two of us. Need a few more and we can get something going. I'll try and PM some of folks from earlier in the thread and see if they're still looking.

I would love to join in on a twice a month session. The DC PFS meetups are hard to make with my work schedule and family since they're usually way on the other side of Fairfax County. I'm very open to being a DM I just don't have much Pathfinder experience. I own the entire Giantslayer AP and would love to DM that once I'm a bit more seasoned. I'm also hoping the Realm Works Content Market will launch soon and have Giantslayer as an add on by the end of the year :). If some of you other folks with DM experience are interested in taking turns running some modules and/or PFS scenarios for a bit I think we may be able to get something going. I'd prefer to run PFS rules in order to earn chronicle sheets but that's not a deal breaker for me if anyone is dead set against PFS rules. I could also host games pending approval of the Mrs. I'm a bit father south in Prince William County on 234 near Montclair/Dale City.
