Bimbur listens intently as Maidie explains about Tanglefoot.

His existence had been a lonely one for the most part. Maybe Bimbur could befriend an animal like Maidie or buy a domesticated pet like others had done?

There had been a question about whether or not one of the monks was a cat person a dog person. While they are sitting around, Bimbur just speaks quietly: "I think I am a dog person."

Bimbur returned from scouting around the camp and entered as Meep was putting on her new clothes.

"It is unfair to judge Meep for her actions when with her former tribe. It is fair to judge her actions with her new 'tribe'."

Bimbur was above using air quotes as some of his monk instructors. It did not seem dwarvenly.

Bimbur agreed long hair was preferred. As they travelled he stayed in front.

Bimbur knew many didn’t trust goblins, but he had found many to be more reasonable than elves.

”Meep, calm down. Many a life has been lost due to haste and misunderstanding. Breathe in, breathe out. Tell us all you know amount the chief’s orders and this Lugruk.”

Bimbur offers some rations to Meep and sit down next to her chewing on some of his own quietly.

Bimbur let two arrows fly wide at the last goblin.

Bimbur was a little slow to react, and found that goblins were dead before he could react. He slowed his breathing as he drew two arrows in quick succession and lined up on the most significant threat, the goblin cleric.

Bimbur yells in common "Pancakes!!" then falls silent. Who knows what dreams have infected the stoic monk.

A slight bit of drool runs down his left cheek

He jumps up and draws his bow!!

Bimbur replies to Betzolte, obviously a little unused to be addressed directly.

"I was fortunate to spend time at a monastery dedicated to Irori. There I was able to perfect this craft which the elves seem to believe they have a monopoly on it."

Bimbur nods at the conversation, eating his venison in small bite sized pieces and cleaning the residue off his beard carefully.

"Scouting and archery seem to be my talents, but you never know when danger strikes. Sometimes when your guard is down."

After musing philisophically about danger, Bimbur checks his assortment of miscellaneous arrows.

Bimbur helps clean and dress his kill at the campfire. He waits for the others to begin to eat as he roasts his steak over the fire then digs in with relish.

Bimbur nods slowly.

"I can scout ahead. I am pretty quiet and sneaky, and I can see most threats. Shortcuts are meant to be taken aren't they??"

He looks at the others.

"If some of you are not comfortable traveling outdoors, it may be prudent to take the safer way. Knowing some of the people before us, I bet they weren't in any hurry. Maybe we shouldn't be either. It is rather the journey and not the destiny one of my teachers used to say. Well....usually when he thought you should be learning something and doing something you didn't like. But it may apply here."

The dwarf strides confidently up to Moon, a piece of parchment in his hands. He looks for a match along one of the edges.

"I do have a similar piece. We should put our heads and papers together to get through this."

The dwarf extends a right hand that is well calloused. He smiles and makes a bow.

"Bimbur at your service."

Bimbur thought he was being discreet as he watched the children at play.

Then he realized he was not doing a good job of hiding at all. He looked sheepishly around. The dwarf looked around awkwardly before deciding to follow behind the children.

So Bimbur will be a privileged kid who was like a special foreign exchange student.

He went off to a special school and may feel a little special.

Sorry I am here.


This will be a dwarven monk. Zen archer was the final choice of archetypes. He has stubby legs and doesnt like to move a lot.


Bimbur is fixed and he used his wealth to get a mwork composite bow and a one ioun stones to up his skills.

He is pretty good at sneaking and seeing things (+10 perception and +9 stealth), and can point to traps but not do anything with them. So a good scout with darkvision that will be good with a bow at level 3 -- 13 dex will be used and will hurt for two levels until he can use wisdom, but Bimbur is built for the long game.


Bimbur will have to be adjusted to level 1 and would be looking for the monk who trained and raised him that got shivved in an alley.

LG or LN depending on party. Campaign trait Would add +2 to craft weapon

I would go rich parents to actually by a decent bow if allowed, zen archer monks have little money elsewise


All parties need a dwarf.

Zen archer to scout and ranged attack.

With the wardrums, Bimbur feels fifteen feet is fine. Surprise is highly unlikely

Bimbur shakes his head sadly. "Not much to do, but study and think about things. One of the monks called it a voluntary prison."

Then Bimbur brightens up. "But then they let me shoot a bow. Now being slow doesn't mean so much when you can shoot an arrow where you want it."
