After much consideration I have reached a decision. Play by post gamming is not for me. You folks are great and in no way caused this decision. I simply don't do well in this system. Therefore, this is my final post in this game.
Aya has been carrying much of the party's treasure, which she turns over to whoever wants to control it. This includes the following:
1 bottle of alchemist's fire
1 alchemical tinkering scroll
2 crocks of healing salve (1d8)
3 thunderstones
12 tindersticks
2 vials of acid
2 vials of poison
1 crystal on a leather throng (50 g)
cash: 907 gold 32 silver
Female Elf Wizard
Yes. and Aya loads herself and gear on the boat.
Female Elf Wizard
Female Elf Wizard
Aya sits quietly a little away from the group and concentrates on some materials she pulled from her Spell Component Pouch for a brief period of time. She seems to be speaking very quietly as she concentrates. After a bit she get up, walks over to Sakuro and hands her a small pearl. This pearl will return to your memory any one first level you have already cast each day, It can be used but once a day. Use it wisely, my friend.
She then goes back where she was sitting, pulls out her Spell Book, and starts studying the spells she will have available to her this day.
Female Elf Wizard
So, I am to understand we do not feel the mystic power in the morning until we first take a drink. Right? Aya checks her 3 vials and her waterskin, which she filed yesterday to see if the magic is still there. If so, she drinks the content on one of the vials. Does the mystic power return to her? If not, she drinks from the spring. Dose she feel the power return then? She then refills that vial from the spring. and reports her findings to the party. If Aya feels the mystic power, she goes to Sakuro, and tells her, "Sakuro, if you give me 25 gold pieces, I will make you a first level Pearl of Power."
Female Elf Wizard
Do we feel the mystic power?
Female Elf Wizard
Aya looks at Nia and then scans the rest of the group. "I agree with you, Nia." She then empties her waterskin and fills it with the spring water. "I wish I had more containers but alas this is all I have." She then heads back down the hill to the boat.
Female Elf Wizard
Aya nods, saying. The power is still in the water. We should all drink. We need to figure out why the results are temporary.
Female Elf Wizard
Aya wonders back up to the source of the stream and takes another drink. She then waits a moment to see if the 'power' returns. She then cats Detect Magic and looks around for any magic auras. If she finds ay she concentrates on each aura to try to determine what kind of magic it is.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Female Elf Wizard
Aya pulls one of the 'samples' from her pack casts Detect Magic, and concentrates on it for a moment. Then she returns the vial to her pack. Looking at Nia, The magic is still there.
Eldon, do I sense anything other that healing in the water?
Female Elf Wizard
This is a mystery indeed. We need to remain here on this island until we solve it. We need to help the sailors complete the repairs to the boat. Before they leave we need to figure out how we get back to the mainland. Perhaps we can pay them to wait for us to solve the mystery. Anyone else have an opinion or suggestion?
Female Elf Wizard
I'm in. What needs identifying? Aya moves to Sakuro.
Female Elf Wizard
I have to agree with Nia'Nikta. I don't think it would be wise to split up. The island is small and we can see most of it from here. What we cannot see is concealed within the heave growth.
Female Elf Wizard
Aya pulls 3 empty glass vials from her backpack and fills each with the water. She then casts detect magic on them to see if there is any magic left in their content. Then turning her attention back to the group, she asks, Shouldn't we explore this island quickly. I am really curious to learn what else is here.
Eldon, could you please describe what we see from our position.
Female Elf Wizard
After due consideration and reading all that has been discussed here Aya will NOT leave the game. I will chat some more with Eldon about my concerns and I will stay in the game. I have enjoyed the role-play that y'all have provided and will attempt to participate more in it more.
Female Elf Wizard
I too have been thinking about leaving the game. I talked to Eldon about my future in the game last week. I told him I would stay with the group for the encounter we were in. That encounter is now history, so I am letting you all know that I am dropping out also. You are a great group but it is time for me to move on.
Female Elf Wizard
Female Elf Wizard
Aya turns to the party with serious concern on her face. There is definitely magic in the water, powerful transformation magic - but it's unlike any spell that I know of.
Female Elf Wizard
Aya walks to Baldek, looks at him and the water. She casts Detect Magic and concentrates on the water.
Female Elf Wizard
I am also out of town through Monday. Bot as required.
Female Elf Wizard
After careful consideration Aya says, these are constructs and are immune to many magics. These, it has been said, seem impervious to anything that can be resisted. So I will not be much help against them. But I don't think we can ignore them.
Female Elf Wizard
Aya tries to recall any mention of this kind of creature in her lessons.

As Aya boards the boat she looks at the barge captain and asks, So, How much do you think is fair to take us to the Isle o' Life? She then pulls out her 'small' coin purse and extracts 1 gold.
Female Elf Wizard
Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
I sense the power fading. Not sure what is going on. Perhaps we need to follow the trail after all.
Not sure why but the following fact seems to have entered my mind while I was pondering our situation. "There is an island in the southern part of the lake where the fish are huge and plentiful, but also quite dangerous. It's rife with growth, but nobody gets too close. Too many have died nearing the island."
Female Elf Wizard
OK then. Let's get going. Aya turns away from the mountain and starts walking toward the monastery.
Female Elf Wizard
After much thought I have concluded that we should follow the beast's trail to see where it came from. Are there others? Is there some clues to its origin? Did it leave anything behind in its lair?
Female Elf Wizard
Sorry I do not know the floating disk spell floating disk spell.
