![]() Hi. I've heard this is a tougher AP than most so I'm wondering how viable gestalt might be for my players. Has anyone run an AP with 4 gestalt players, and if so what was the experience like at higher levels? Any advice or shared experiences are welcome. I'm still debating if I want to allow gestalt or not and your thoughts can help. Thanks. ![]()
![]() Hi, my group is getting ready to kick off this AP but I'm looking for some thematically appropriate healer class ideas. Normal clerics are boring to me as they rarely get to do anything other than spam heal in our games. The big thing is I want it to be fun and feel right for the setting. Thanks in advance. ![]()
![]() Hello all. I'm looking to build a party of Halloween themed characters for a short game I'm running this weekend. Witch is a given, as is the voodoo Oracle theme, but what other class/race combos would be fun? For example, is their a way to build a jack o' lantern type character? Plant-based creature? Is their a way to make this an alchemist who throws pumpkin bombs? What about bat themed or something else iconic to this Holiday? any help is appreciated. Thanks. ![]()
![]() With a 25 point build per character and 5 characters total, we completed it. Hats off to Amber for an amazing finish that gave my players a very memorable session. If anyone has questions feel free to ask but I ran the adventure with very little modification other than compensating for higher builds and additional player. ![]()
![]() Ok, I'm thinking flavor-wise it might be cool to play a holy assassin in this AP. Ninja would be the preferred choice to build from but a mix of something else isn't out of the question. The goal here would be something with some sort of link to a church and if possible add in some holy power. Thoughts? ![]()
![]() Hi. I'm looking to create a new race of draconic people for a game I'm about to run but I'm having some trouble getting the point cost numbers just right for the character builder in ARG. Here's what I would like: 1. tail (possibly prehensile or slam attack, not sure if spikes could be added or not)
I understand I will eat a level or two with this creature but my problem is my numbers keep coming out waaay too high. This is my first attempt at using the race builder. My hope is one of you is a whiz at this sort of thing and can suggest a solid build but points manageable build that eats up two levels or less. Thanks for any help you can provide. ![]()
![]() Wow, I think this is the most posting I have done on this message board in one day ever. Anywho, I have a human character I will be making up for a friend's game who will be an alchemist. I want him to be like Robert Downey Jr's Sherlock Holmes but turn in to Hulk when he drinks his formula. Obviously alchemist is the way I am going and Master Chymist is a given but what would you guys recommend for things like feats, archtypes, magic items, etc. to make him the strongest there is? For example, is Ragechemist all that useful at level 14? Etc. Thanks in advance for any help. ![]()
![]() Howdy. So yesterday me and the lads were playing Kingmaker and it occurred to me, thanks to the new races book, that I wanted a way to buy additional racial traits with feats but as far as I can tell no such option exists. Is it too unbalancing? Just wondering if there is a definitive answer to this. Thanks. ![]()
![]() Howdy. I'm looking for some advice on how to add a Pathfinder dragon to my existing party and if memory serves, there were some rules to cover just such a thing but I can't find them. I seem to recall it was something about their challenge rating divided by pi or some such thing. I have the old Dragon magazines that give level conversions but those are limited to playing juveniles for the most part. We have a party sitting at level 14, soon to be 15. Any help with this is much appreciated. Thanks. ![]()
