Also, can we have the item we purchase ship with our subscriptions? I'm not getting a promo code fill box when I choose to ship with subscriptions — it only appears when I have the item ship separately.

I found that before they removed it, each time I tried using a promo code on things I put in my sidecart, the code didn't take, and I was charged full price, AND the code was consumed. So I suppose the system doesn't support that feature and updated the interface to fit so that people wouldn't lose their promo codes anymore.

(I also saw a lot of complaints about that in the CS forum... so I was clearly not the only one. I never complained because TBH I didn't really care, but it might be budget-defining for a lot of people.)

I’m out today so I cannot access the behind the scenes to double check, but iirc when you place the order using the discount code and it goes to your sidecart, the items from that order will be discounted, but anything in the sidecart already or that you add later will not get the discount. You need to place the order with the items for the discount all together in one order.

We’ve always had a battle with sidecarts and discount codes because depending on timing, all the side carts with lots of items would really mess with logistics when subs shipped out later, often past the deadline of the sale. I would need to double check settings with Katina before I can say for 100% certain how this particular code was set up and should be working.

Remember that the discount will not apply to items your subscriptions generate, or backorders, preorders, etc.

With our new ticketing software I would recommend if you have issues to email us about issues with codes rather than post on the forums. Keeping in mind we still have roughly 1k outstanding issues we are still working through. We will always do our best to help resolve problems but we are still pretty behind.

Yeah, I did not see this post before I sidecarted the item I wanted because I was trying to start over the check out process due to a problem with selecting the card I wanted to use at check out and now I cannot get it to accept the code, anymore. Oh, well; it is too much trouble for me now and I have waited a while to get this item. I'll just keep waiting and maybe pick it up for sale at my FLS some day if I can't get it with the discount here now.
