While the focus is on the rogue and the wizard, Prince of Wolves also includes a "witch," a harrower, and a bunch of fighters and other rogues. Likewise, by the end of Master of Devils we end up with three adversarial parties (the good, the bad, and the kami).
The group in Queen of Thorns forms earlier and is certainly more obviously a classic "adventuring band," but all the R&J novels include a sort of adventuring party, albeit not the traditional "let's meet in the tavern and find a quest" sort.
There had better be an Arnesant too.

1) Riddleport! I love this place.
2) Kaer Maga
3) Storval Plateau--okay, apparently I just really want Varisia. But I'm more interested in the wildlands of Varisia, maybe some of the old Thassilonian ruins. Also, Riddleport.
4) Castrovel--reading about this in the distant worlds book gave me joy. It's got similarities to ancient Greece. But in OUTER SPACE.
5) Qadira--I like Qadira better than Katapesh, honestly. I love Katheer.
Like Neil, I guess, my criteria for most of these places is: if I were writing Pathfinder fiction, where would I want to write? These are the places that spark my imagination the most.

Book 3: The Asylum Stone
I didn't realize we'd announced that already. Guess I can talk about it in earnest now! :D

Geb, Mwangi, Nex, Osirion, Storval/Shoanti, etc. would definitely pique my interest, but particularly so if they are written with characters from those locations as the central characters / protagonists, and not from the perspective of a more Euro-white-PC visitor to those lands.
Similarly, characters from various factions, like a Prophet of the Kalistocracy or an Arcanamirium researcer or a Ninth Battalion dwarven battle-wizard or whatever, could not only make for memorable characters, but suggest what playing a member of such a faction would be like in a game. Previous portrayals seem to have placed Razmiran followers or Aspis Consortium members or Whispering Way adherents or Red Mantis Assassins firmly into the camp of 'NPC bad-guy only,' so characterizing some Hermeans or some Kalistocrats or some Shackles Pirates as at least 'lovable rogues,' if not Lily Purehearts, *before* they get limited to one-dimensional villains-only roles might be handy.

A hot springs in Mwangi... (knowing the world as we do the location is really not as important as the characters. :)
Two weeks eh? :) Lets hope I called it this close to the mark on Eox (I like the Eox)
PFS(?) submission guidelines say different eras are off limits. Does this hold true for the novels? Seems to me novels could explore the past better than adventures. :)James Sutter Contributor |

We may explore the past in a novel at some point--in fact, one of our first web fiction stories, "Noble Sacrifice," takes place during the Goblinblood Wars--but in general, I've been trying to keep things current, as I felt like it was more important for the line to start out in the here and now, with characters that could be an ongoing part of the setting (and folks' adventures). Now that the line's got a bit more momentum, though, it's definitely something I'd consider if the right pitch came my way.

Follow up to the ransom in song of the serpent :D. Just finished that book, and loved the characters.
I am a third through city of the shattered sky, and I have a feeling it is going to battle winter witch for my number 3 spot. (Death's heretic and Plague of shadows the 1 and 2 ... in no particular order.)
Speaking of which...
More adventures of Salim! Sutter stop chatting it up here and get to work :p
Tales authors: keep up the amazing line. I may try to order them by favorites, but the leads are pretty minuscule!

The area of Katapesh staring the Elven Druid from the story in Legacy of Fire.
I second this motion! (but Channa Ti is half-elven; her father is a Mwangi elf and her mother is Mwangi) Not only do I want to see more of Channa Ti, but I want to know more about her rift with her father and why she chose to join the Pathfinders.

I have just finished reading all the 9 novels published at the moment. I have liked them all especially because reading them is an easy way to improve my knowledge of golarion. I have almost all printed paizo materials but it's not the same fun for me to read the inner sea guide for example.
What I really like is when I can find in the books something I can steal for my gaming sessions, and because I play with paizo published AP and modules, I would really like to see something directly related to these.
For example I'm going to master ROTR soon so what a wonderful story could be one in which some of the locations involved could be discovered throuth its pages.

I like Kaer Maga, but with the troll soothsayers and the undead walking the streets, it might run the risk of having the setting overpower the characters and leave them feeling like afterthoughts, unless the characters happen to *be* a troll soothsayer and a zombie-wrangler (working for a naga?)! I mean, if you're gonna play in Kaer Maga, you might as well reach for the stuff on the top shelf!
Of the Varisian cities, I find that Riddleport seems likelier to scratch that 'Ill Met in Lankhmar / Tales of the Vulgar Unicorn' itch. Seedy and disreputable and a 'hive of scum and villainy,' but not quite as fantastic and 'gonzo' as Kaer Maga.
Have the protagonist be a Calistrian local (and not a hooker!), could also add some cool characterization to that faith. Add in a half-orc who used to work for Clegg, a rogue who has made enemies of too many crimelords to keep straight, and a cyphermage with a penchant for speaking in riddles and writing in code, and you could have an entire party mired in Riddleport flavor.

Thanks, Italian! This is exactly why we're so excited to be publishing the fiction. And you'll definitely see some books tied to APs in the future! (In the meantime, Blood of the City is set in Magnimar, which makes it useful for folks playing Shattered Star.)

It would be tough to pull off, I suspect. But I'd also like to read some fiction around the cosmic 'movers and shakers' of Golarion. Interactions with demon lords, archdevils, that kind of thing. I'd also quite like to read stories around some of the machinations in the House of Thrune, The Red Mantis, etcetera.
It's not the kind of thing I'd necessarily like explored in an adventure path or module (I'm more a fan of low power gaming) but I am curious about some of those high powered groups and their goings on.
