Let me guess:

This is the art preview we get for reporting a total of 4 PFS tables (of which two were TPKs) for the month, making 17 calls to Cosmo asking "Where's the beef?" and telling James Jacobs we want to rename the Magus to Gish - User.

bonus Grognard spoiler

Spoiler:
The Aboleth made the first Globsterlope as a gift for a mad wizard thrall.

Is that a Maine glopster or a rock glopster?

Dark Archive

About time, I've been waiting for them to show a playable race.

That's what comes into being several hours after you eat an ENTIRE peryton. They don't digest well.

Is that one of the new pokémon from Black and White?

My guess is the staff had a fun weekend celebrating their victory over WOTC in 3rd quarter sales.

Lamashtu had a globsterlope.
Its goo was sickly puce
And everywhere that globster loped
It gobbled up a goose.

One day it ate a peryton
With glomping globster glee.
That smacked of fowl and venison
And surely you'd agree.

See... it's this kind of response post that compels us to make the nonsensical blog posts more common.

Anyway... the inside joke is that the globster ALMOST made it into Pathfinder AP #1 as a new monster (as an amorphous coastal undead monster), but then we realized that the idea of a globster is kind of funny.

Especially if it has antlers.

It's gone! INDEED.

Because of a mandate/request from up high, by the end of this year all Paizo employees will have unique avatars. My new avatar is from a piece of art that's appearing in an upcoming product, and there MAY have been a little bit of, "Hmm... I gotta change my avatar, maybe I should order some art that would work for that?" going on.

Tom's still using the good old fiendish T-Rex. Tom understands the value of tradition.

Oh man. Globsters as undead would have been awesome. Perhaps they just need a less silly name.

"Gurgle, gargle, globsterlope,
Have you any slime?"
"Yes, dope! Yes, pope!
Thick with chyme!

First I ate a paladin.
Next I ate a grue.
Then I ate a peryton.
Now I will eat you!"

{stealthily pokes the "Kevin" with a quarterstaff and dislodges its mask, revealing... a Globsterlope! With the Fiendish Poet template!!!}

AUUUUUUUGGH!!! {runs off screaming}

Wow, so someone was so enamoured of the globster that the art had to be published so that it could be made into an icon?

What does this herald for Erik Mona Day?
