Meredith, you can't feint for free, it is a standard action, unless you have the Improved Feint feat, then it is a move action.
I have Deft Maneuvers from Elephant in the Room, which gives feint as a move action, as well as +2 on disarm/trip and no attacks of opportunity. I thought we were using it, but if we're not using Elephant in the Room, I'll look to see what else I can get. I would also drop Feint Partner in that case, as well, if allowed.

I'm not sure things where are at with covering Rogue stuff. I put a couple of skill ranks into Disable Device. I was mistaken when I said I could grab trapfinding as a talent at 2nd level. 1st talent actually comes at 3rd level and Piret's archetypes trade away the 3rd level talent.
I don't mind dipping a level of Rogue to get trapfinding though. I could do it now at 2nd level, or wait until 3rd depending on whether magical traps will be a problem sooner or later. I've posted 2nd level as Investigator below, but I won't update Piret's profile just yet in case it's better to do the Rogue dip now.
Thoughts or opinions anyone?

I think Aelbourne was supposed to be our trapfinder. But he hasn't posted since before the split, so I think we were kind of left hanging on that. I honestly don't know when magical traps could become a thing, so I don't really have any input on when a dip should be done, sorry.
Piret Kersna
I will find a dedicated Rogue soon. The traps don't really start for a bit.
Alright, I'll stick to Investigator.

We have a +1 cloak! Who is in the most need of better saving throws? A quick look on my end makes me think that it would be optimal for Meredith to wear it. Her +1 Ref and +2 Will could use some support.
Stanislaw Medvyed
I concur. Cavalier only has Fort as a strong saving throw progression, so she needs as much of a boost as she can get.
She's also a prime target for Protection from Chaos, once we start seeing hostile fey.

Makes sense to me

Sure, I'll put a section in my profile to keep track of the party's loot.
As a group, there is a loot decision to be made. Do we care about keeping track of who gets what item? I know in some groups, when it comes to dividing gold, half of the value of the item gets deducted. For example, a +1 cloak would take 500 gold out of that person's share.
Personally? I prefer not to do that. I'd much rather people just make use of what items we find, rather than being worried about not being able to buy what they want. I think it makes the group stronger as a whole. But it's a choice that should be made together.
Stanislaw Medvyed
I'm fine with people just using what we find without tracking shares. I also typically vote for having a "party fund" available that we can use for group consumables where needed, such as useful shared wands.
Elenaril Oakspar
I agree with people getting what they need first and foremost. I'm also in favor of a party pot for potions etc.

FYI, beginning Friday I will be traveling to see family for the holidays. I should have time to get a post or two in, but my posting rate will likely slow down over the next week - week and a half.

Ready whenever things start moving again.

I'm still here!

Hi Everyone, I've crawled across the 2025 finish line. I'm past the H.R.1 Bill fallout, the SNAP shutdown, the string of fall to winter holidays, and a nasty cold that turned into an inner ear infection.
I'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but I work for the Oregon Department of Human Services. While fall does tend to be busy, this one was crazy with all the extra disruption.
I'm back now, very sorry for my long absence and very appreciative of your patience.

Since we are about to hit that mark, will we be doing full hexploration of the area (complete with mapping and such) or are we going to do this more as a handwave kind of thing?

For now, it will be general. I will be posting a more detailed map shortly so you can make the decisions about hex by hex exploration.
Piret Kersna
Would you allow someone to notice Piret's discomfort? Or do you want to open up at your own pace?
Sure, if you like. I'm fine either way. I'm not looking to make it a big, ongoing thing. It's just to illustrate that very occasionally fending off wolves or whatever trying to kill sheep is quite a bit different than combat for Piret.
Also I wanted to reinforce Piret having an agenda that's different from everyone else. I also wanted to pick up a couple of plot nooks and crannies that haven't been touched so far. Nobody else had engaged with Svetlana.

Entangle is what I had in mind regarding being able to make things difficult for them to enter. Only really works if we're keeping them outside and staying inside, otherwise everyone is susceptible to it.
Obscuring mist is a double edged sword in that it eliminates our ranged capacity as well unless people are stepping out of the mist to shoot, then stepping back in.

You can turn obscuring mist into pure advantage for your side with ashen path, which lets you see through it. It's a 2nd-level spell with a duration in tens of minutes!
Elenaril Oakspar
Yeah I know. But we're only second level so, not an option yet. Same thing with entangle If you have selective spell. But still another level from having an extra feat, and not sure I'd want to spend it on that

Hello folks! Your GM went looking for someone to handle trap-ly duties, and stumbled over me! (I'm short compared to you tallfolk!)
Looking forward to helping out the team with all your traps, toys, and troubles!

Welcome!!
