Saya steps up and performs beautifully, her magic and companions augmenting her natural grace as she performs a routine in counterpoint to the two monks. They falter and slip, flailing as they drop the glass spheres. With a crash, the scene shatters, the echo of their mantra fading. The scene reforms into a Chapel C4.
A bloated corpse stands upon a balcony at the front of this vaulted chapel, preaching heresy and ugly truths to a crowd of rapt worshipers.
"We all know that Korada calls us to forgive those who have wronged us. But what each of you also know, secretly in your heart of hearts, is that some actions are unforgiveable. If someone murders your child, or takes you as a slave for years, destroying your life for their worldly gain. Is it right to forgive them, even if they are truly repentant for their ways? I say it is wrong, and that in your heart you know this to be true, even as your lips say the words of Korada. Some deeds are so unspeakable that there can be no forgiveness."

The sounds of the unholy sermon begin to fade away as if receeding to a far distance, and a cloud of incense blows through the area.

Saya comes closer to Eskar, a soft glance on her eyes, she smiels and place her hand on the bag of the muscuous and stoney Nagaji,
Eskar, you carrey the world in your shoulders, let me give you a small impulse, i can't do much for you, but today this hands witll push not your body, but your heart, and that way, we'll be able to reach the sky, as we have done in the past, Let me support you as I've felt your support on all this years

Eskar feels Saya’s hand press against the rough stone ridges of his back, and her joy warms his stone heart. With her aid, Eskar leans forward, tensing his muscles, while the Ka Stone on his forehead glows faintly. The great burden before him no longer feels solitary
Thy hand lifts more than thou knowest, Saya. By thy heart, mine finds its strength. We shall cast down this corruption together

With a roar, the massive table flips, rotting food and skittering vermin scattering everywhere. The acolytes go flying, and when they stand they seem to focus and see what they are doing for the first time. A scream comes from the adjoining room, as the door to the kitchen flies open.
A halfling sits in the center of the kitchen room, weeping in anguish. He waves his fingerless left hand and screams, “Korada has forsaken us! Abandon all hope!”

The sky through the windows brightens as the clouds flee and dawn breaks. Pure sunshine flows through the windows, bathing the scene in a radiant glow. In a flash of light, the scene fades, and the Pathfinders find themselves back in the real temple, standing in the garden in the light of day.
Zhuang begins to stir, blinking and looking around as if waking from a deep dream. "My pupils, forgive me for my weakness. I allowed my despair and guilt from my past to overwhelm my hope for the future. I beg your forgiveness."
Zhuang turns and bows to the Pathfinders. "I will forever be grateful for your assistance. Brother 29 steps, truly you and your friends are a gift from Korada's open hand. Be welcome here as long as you need before traveling on your way."
Success at the Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment! You unlock a special boost option for the Burst of Healing Aid token. We haven't gotten an aid token at our table yet, but I will get the rules up on the slides later today to go over how the boost will work.
After the pathfinders finish their work at the temple, a repair team is dispatched to the location to begin mending the tear. While ensuring the team is set up and able to begin their work, the Pathfinders find tattered cloth bridges leading to four of the other damaged sections of the tapestry. They also learn that a band of roving undead has been sighted in the area and may be making its way to the Temple. The monks and repair team seem to believe that they could defend against the threat if the Pathfinders are needed elsewhere, but would appreciate the assistance dealing with the threat if it is offered.
The total time spent completing the ritual, assisting in Zhuang's mind and helping the repair team set up is 1 hour. I have updated the buffs sheet with the new time.
All areas of equally close, since they are connected to each other through the astral plane by these tangled bridges.
Mission 2: Our ratfolk allies in Round Mountain sent out a call for help. The entire mountain is unstable, and dangerous creatures abound! Secure passage to the Pagoda of the Rat.
Mission 4: The duergar of Slave Mountain are becoming more desperate and aggressive. They are taking slaves beneath the mountain and performing a disturbing ritual. Do what you can to understand their dark plot, and stop the ritual!
Mission 5: The Aspis Consortium poisoned many of the tapestry’s residents against us. Three factions have nonetheless agreed to meet with us. You must convince them to trust the Society in this desperate hour.
Optional Mission: Strange undead have been sighted in the area and are making their way towards the temple. Noone knows where they came from, but they may have been spawned in some way by the damage to the tapestry.
We'll go with the first mission that gets 2 votes as before.

All tasks appeared to have the same urgency. That one of the duergar performing a ritual seemed to suggest that they were doing something more sinister than it appeared at first glance
But this people in the templo needed their aid here and now against the undead forces. Hopefully, another group of pathfinders could be able to help the people at the mountain in time.
Stand ready for the unlivings!
| GM 7thGate |
The Pathfinders are gathered in the garden, discussing the impending undead threat and where to attack it, when the undead comes to them! Four skeletal creatures with long, flexible tongues walk through the walls.
This is not, however, the standard undead incorporeality. Their being seems to splinter into a thousand threads as they approach an object, which also splits into threads and merges with them. As they leave the object, the process reverses, and both creature and object seem to reknit to their solid form, unharmed.

Seeing many of her friends grabbed by the icky skeletal tongue monsters, she tries to find a position to blast them in a group but settles for a spell on black.
Let go of them you creeps!
She spreads her hand and evokes a spray of 5 force missiles...

Seems there are many more outside than inside! I cannot get a good shot.

El Yama tears into the undead creature, shattering it to pieces that fall to the garden floor. Lunnette remembers that these are Morghs, undead creatures usually created from mass killers. These however appear to be spawned by the tapestry itself as part of a malfunctioning repair mechanism, which is likely why they seem to have the strange thread-based merging ability.
The undead lose their create spawn ability and are bound to the location they are created by the tapestry, but gain an ability similar to earth glide that works on all materials in the tapestry.

Eskar will take the +6 additional healing from Lunnette, just to try and ligth his load to her, at least for a bit
His scaly chest was enveloped by the tongue of the mohg's entrails, as he began to feel the symptoms of paralysis taking effect upon him
Fortitude DC 21: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (9) + 21 = 30
For a moment, his limbs stiffened, but his eyes burned with a golden fire. With a grunt, he forced air into his lungs and growled,
Nay… I will not be stilled by carrion mockeries such as thee!
He managed to open a gap wide enough to raise one arm and whistle through the crack in the door, shouting
To me, my faithful friend
The calm, broad eyed camel pushed its way through the doorway, ears flicking back at the sight of the twisted mohg. With an uncharacteristic snort, Oasis reared slightly and brought his hoofs down at it, crashing against the monster’s side, striking again and again attempting to free his rider
Oasis takes a 5fts step and full attacks at Black, who I believe it's the one grappling Eskar. If it kills it, then the rest goes to Blue instead

I think they've demonstrated all their abilities in the fight; they have Grab, and their tongue can paralyze on touch. They usually have create spawn, but its swapped for their earth-glide equivalent by the unraveling template, which functions as earth glide for all materials in the tapestry but gives a 50% chance of being reabsorped and destroyed if they end their turn inside a solid object. They have 14 hit dice.
Oasis smashes the Mohrg grappling Eskar, then turns and lands two hits against the other Mohrg. Eskar turns and strikes, but only manages to land one hit.
The other Mohrg steps back through the wall, expecting to find El Yama easy prey. Surprised by the wasp up and moving, the Morgh attacks, trying to smash, grab and lick El Yama.

Damage: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (5, 8) + 5 = 18
Bodyguard AOO (Assuming any non-1 works): 1d20 ⇒ 6
One attack comes close to hitting, but Saya interferes and blocks the strike, while the lick does nothing against Freedom of Movement.

Normally with that 5-feet I should have a direct line of sight on Green, but if the AC still occupies too much of my corner sight feel free to apply a -2 I think
He's not unhappy there's one of them still at the same height as them. He applies the same recipe as last time.
Attack 1 manyshot: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 29
Attack 1 haste: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (17) + 18 = 35

Attack 2: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
physical damage: 4d8 + 24 ⇒ (6, 8, 6, 3) + 24 = 47
sonic damage: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 6, 4) = 14
He kind of expected to miss one of the five arrows, so he doesn't mind it as at least, most of them go through.
