Blinky
Creatures (Sickened, dazzled)
Twich
Kosigan
Bold should go!
This room is in total Darkness. Please act appropriately given your character's senses (and remember, the Shadow Plane halves all light sources).
The three-foot-high walls provide partial cover. You can climb/hop over them by expending two squares of movement, as if difficult terrain.

Kosigan fires off two more shots. At yellow, though second switches to red if yellow goes down after one.
Liquidator Disintegrator Rifle: 1d20 + 12 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 12 - 4 = 27 vs. EAC
Acid Damage: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
Liquidator Disintegrator Rifle: 1d20 + 12 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 12 - 4 = 27 vs. EAC
Acid Damage: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

GM Jhaeman |

The smell of burning hair fills the chamber as Kosigan's disintegrator hits the nearest five-legged predator! Twich adds a few force missiles, but the creature still won't go down!
Both of Kosigan's attacks hit Yellow.
Botting Chorizal's Will save from the creatures' last attacks. Result: Failure.
Chorizal's Will save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Chorizal calls out a warning to his allies.
"......" his mouth moves but no sound seems to come out.
In utter silence, he snarls and attacks the beasts again, starting with the one he injured most severely last time.
Natural Weapon: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Slashing: 1d3 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18
Cleave
Natural Weapon: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15
Slashing: 1d3 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19

GM Jhaeman |

One of the wolfish predators dashes away into the darkness, while the other continues snapping and clawing at Blinky!
Yellow does a withdraw action and traces a course to a new position without provoking any AoOs. Yellow is now out of the bright light of Chorizal’s flashlight, and can be seen only by those of you with Darkvision.
Red attacks Blinky. Result: Miss.
Red Claw (sickened, dazzled, off-target) vs Blinky KAC: 1d20 + 21 - 2 - 1 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 21 - 2 - 1 - 2 = 21
damage (sickened) (S): 4d6 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (4, 5, 2, 6) + 10 - 2 = 25

Kosigan notes the creature fleeing and moves to pin it down.
Assuming it has a normal nervous system, Kosigan can find its location with blindsense (electricity) and then get close enough to aim with blindsight (life).
Liquidator Disintegrator Rifle: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 12 - 2 = 12 vs. EAC
Acid Damage: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Not necessarily aim well, mind you.

Sorry was sure I posted yesterday!

GM Jhaeman |

Kosigan takes a wild shot into the darkness, but Twich's magical force missiles home in on the wounded creature with unerring accuracy!
@Kosigan: Unless there's been a clear FAQ ruling, I don't think I'd say blindsense (electricity) can be subtle enough to pick up the nerve impulses or organic beings, just like normal vision isn't microscopic vision. I'd limit it for balance purposes into more traditional sources of electricity: robots, creatures holding powered weapons, power conduits behind walls, etc. It's sort of a moot point since the attack missed anyway, but just FYI of how I'll treat it for the rest of the scenario.
Yellow is hit by the magic missiles, but is still up.

"Just die already!"
Trick attack (Take 10) DC12 or Lower tricked.
Attack 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33 vs Flat footed KAC
Damage 2d6 + 19 + 4d8 ⇒ (6, 2) + 19 + (1, 7, 6, 1) = 42
+Off Target, -2 to attacks.

Chorizal isn't one to go chasing prey when their is an opponent still within reach.
He lets the yellow one flee, assuming it has had enough and slashes at the one that Blinky is attacking.
Natural Weapon: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
Slashing: 1d3 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18

No update that I am aware of, but a human body at rest generates about 100 watts of electricity. That's not microscopic, that's a medium-strength incandescent bulb. Will accept your ruling, but wanted to get that out there first.

The furred creatures try to slip away into the shadows!
Blinky's attack hits Red.
Chorizal's attack misses.
Yellow drops prone behind the wall and does Total Defense. Some of its wounds heal slightly.
Red does a withdraw action, which keeps Blinky from getting an AoO but Chorizal still gets one. Red is using Stealth to try to hide in the darkness/behind cover. I'll leave the token where it is, but if you can't see in the dark or there's a wall between you and it, you'll need to make a DC 37 Perception check to locate it.
Stealth: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (13) + 24 = 37

Blinky goes thundering through the room 60' move speed helps here using his darkvision and tracking the life signals around him...

Chorizal's mouth moves, his expression fierce, yet he continues to make no sound, quieter than a monk under a vow of silence.
Natural Weapon: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24
Slashing: 1d3 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18

GM Jhaeman |

Chorizal's claws leave deep scoring along the flanks of one of the furred beasts!
@Blinky: You went out of turn, so I'll hold that as your action for the next round unless intervening events make it impossible.
Chorizal's AoO hits Red, which is *badly* hurt.
Kosigan's attack misses Yellow.
Twich is up.

![]() |

Oops! I got too enthusiastic!

GM Jhaeman |

Twich keeps up the pressure, firing another spread of magical missiles at one of the five-legged foes!
Meanwhile, Blinky crashes through and over walls, relying on his keen senses to locate his hidden foe! The uplifted koala's claw misses, however.
Botting Twich. As per instructions, using another magic missile at Yellow. Result: 12 damage. (@Redelia: Hope you feel better soon!)
Blinky's attack misses Red.
Magic missile: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 4, 3) + 3 = 12

Chorizal abruptly finds himself without any targets after slashing at the retreating creature. Only the heat of combat keeps him from panicking. After all, he can only see about 15' away and only in one direction and he can't even depend on his sense of hearing to protect him. He tries to give a shout just to test things and, of course gets no result.
He has to focus on the fight and he follows Blinky, literally blundering into the reddish creature.
His attack is more reflex than combat training as he claws at it.
Natural Weapon: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27
