The Taldan didn't comment on the rather ostentatious spigot, not even to needle Amal over the kid's supposedly entitled upbringing at his own extravagant home. Instead he stared out into space, eyes narrow and new flail lackadaisically flung over one shoulder. He looked like he was thinking. "You know, I've been thinking." A dangerous practice even for those more adept at it than the tomb robber.
"Dame, you said there's some sort of specter circling us like a vulture, right?" He ran a hand over his bristly chin. "Well, this whole ruckus with us seeing things - a figure here, a glint there - only to be lead right into venomous vermin and undead dogs and whatnot... Illusions, you called them, Djehuti? Those only started when we were upstairs. Before then it was voices or even visions of the past. And those illusions all point us straight into trouble or even just outside. So..." It wasn't difficult to see where this was going. "Maybe the ghosts are trying to keep us from the upper floor?"
Was something trying to lead them astray more so than simply to their deaths? Luke wasn't entirely convinced by his own conclusion. What did spirits have to fear from them upstairs specifically? There wasn't much left to explore beyond that floor, however. And what he did know was that if he could spite said spirits by going where they didn't want him - well, then that was a worthy endeavor in and of itself.
With this in mind, Luke stomped straight for the stairs again.
The room marked 2 I guess?
EDIT: The room marked 2 upstairs.

2 was the room with the flying skulls. 1 is the only 'unchecked' room I see on the 1st floor left. We were upstairs but ran back downstairs to chase the spirit/ghost/thing I think.
"Or softening us up? Remember Heshsharu, the sand creature, mentioned something named 'Imanish' that wanted to play with our heads. In any event I'd suggest we finish checking this first floor, clearing any dangers, so if we must leave the second floor in haste we don't blunder into more danger."

Room 1 on the first floor has a clear path to it. It appears as a small outbuilding and I do not think you have gotten close enough to have seen more than that. Rooms 2-5 are on the second floor
@GM: Thanks! I thought 1 was the last room on the first floor we had not examined yet. That's where Djedefre's 22 or 30 (take 10 vs. rolled) is going hopefully with either Amal, Luke, or Senemheb to protect him.

"Plus, it will allow us to retreat to the lower floor to rest and recover in case things get too hairy upstairs. Wouldn't be my first time spending the night in a haunted house," Jolánka adds, nodding to Djedefre.
