George and Atu recognise the creatures as reflections, a type of water elemental that is known to either go into diffuse mode or reflection mode, absorbing or reflecting attacks. In diffuse mode, it can reduce damage from melee attacks, in reflection mode it can partially return attacks to sender
The creatures have darkvision, but no ability to detect invisibility other than through perception.

I moved Trober to his current position on the map since he would have been in the back of the group and not in the front.
Trober sees the new threat and his pent up anxiety and fear manifest into a wave of temporal disruption that erupts in a 40' cone toward red.

Celestia curses in infernal as the new enemy is sighted. She curses even more when she gets targeted and basically lets her 'inner tiefling' out snarling and hissing at the creature. It seems rather out of character for the usually calm and friendly aasimar.
