Apparently, a portion of Manaket's sewer system is under construction and has been left covered by only a few planks of wood since the Godsrain. After two weeks of wear, they're ready to collapse.

Akame, Argoni and Deroff (I'm assuming Luci's kind of riding him) suddenly notice something odd with the sidewalk and step around some boards. Everyone else doesn't catch this in time.

With a crash, Miladistra, Johnny and Jun-Mei step on the rotting boards and drop 5 feet into a septic tank.

The party also gets 1 Awareness Point for not defeating the hazard

The door is cracked open and an frazzled woman, who appears to be the leader of the group, answers the door.

"Finally, someone comes. I am Misgenia Rohzali." She introduces the other students to you (Art on Slide 3).

"I suppose thanks are in order, for being willing to do this. Sorry if we're not exactly good company right now, it's been a… hard few days." The young woman sniffs and wipes a cheek with her shawl before taking a deep breath to recompose herself. "I'm afraid we're not ready to leave just yet. We, well, we haven't finished packing. It's hard, you know, to know what to take when you know you're… you're probably never coming back."

You need to ingratiate themselves with the students while helping them pack, as earning their trust will make the journey to the docks easier. This encounter lasts 4 rounds. Common skills to Discover what influences each student are Perception and Society. An additional Lore skill is also presented as an option. In general, the order of DCs are Lore, Perception, Society respectively.

AYMN SONO:

Aymn has pure golden skin and solid red eyes, giving them the striking (and very noticeable) appearance of a golden statue set with rubies. Two additional sets of eyes, which only ever partially open, are set at tilted angles above and below their regular ones, one pair adorning their cheeks and the other on their forehead.

Yezza is a wide-set Shaikim lizardfolk with thick, rough scales in a mix of earthy grays and browns. Her head is crowned with a frill of spikey “horns,” and two paired rows of matching spikes run all the way down the length of her spine and tail.

There are often some skills we can always use to Influence, like Diplomacy. Miladistra will try to discover the skills we can use to calm them down.
