A stocky but kind-looking man steps into the scene, his strong build giving way to a gentle presence. He’s dressed in clean white clothes, with spotless gloves, and carries a well-used healer’s kit. Around his neck hangs a religious symbol, shining softly next to his wayfinder, a sign of both his faith and experience as an adventurer.

"Greetings!" he says in a low, calm voice, looking over the group with a reassuring smile. "I am Henri Hart, specialized in medical treatment in the field. It’s an honor to be part of this mission with everyone." His presence brings a sense of calm and safety, showing he’s ready to help wherever he’s needed.

You are summoned to the Grand Lodge for a briefing by chief archivist Zarta Dralneen. You convene in the vaults beneath the lodge, in an office lined with bookshelves and ancient relics in glass cases. An ornate treasure chest rests at the foot of the solid oak desk where Zarta is busily writing.

Zarta holds up a finger, scribing a few lines on the page in front of her before looking up. "Good, you’re here. Thank you for coming; I fear our newer agents lack the experience necessary to handle some of the tasks at hand." She gestures to the chest at the foot of the desk. "This is Biglock, who’s been unusually quiet. Aren’t you going to say hello, Biglock?"

The front of the chest splits open into a gaping, toothy grin. "Just trying not to interrupt the briefing—until it’d be funny."

Zarta shakes her head, though the corner of her mouth quirks up in a smile. "Biglock, as you can see, is cursed with a sense of humor. He and his associate, Mr. Glovely, will be giving you the details on these missions. As some of you may recall, we recently obtained a treasure vault formerly held by the Onyx Alliance. They entrusted it to us after a tangle with the night hag Aslynn; it appears there’s something in the vault she wants. To make sense of her plans, it’s vital we properly catalog and secure the vault’s contents. In the process, we’ve found some items that require additional attention. You’ll be heading to the Grand Bazaar to consult with merchants about four of these treasures, as their expertise will be invaluable in identifying, fixing, or locating the items in question."

"Me greetins be with yer once more. I'm hopin this time will be a tad less on the excitin side than last though."

He looks at Hornbori and then tilts his head to one side, and addresses his shield. "I met them afore I ever met yerself Myrsa. And Biglock isn't a chest, he just be lookin like one. Glove on the other hand... I think maybe actually a glove."

Looking at the VC he asks. "What are these special items? And I'm guessin that yer be expecting the hag herself to show up ta try and reclaim them agin?"

Having already met Biglock and Mr Glove the ifrit isn't surprised at all. But jumping after Khaul's questions, he asks: What kind of special properties do they have? And wouldn't it be more secure to let the items here in the vault and to bring the merchants here? So the items wouldn't be traveling in the town but here behind all the spells protections.

A fair looking woman black long hair, hazel eyes , dressed up in what appears to be the military uniform of the Andorian's Eagle Knights enter the room, following behind her a bulky humanoid constructed of what seems to be pieces of metal, put in a functional way, the construct seems to be something that has been a work in progress, for quite time now

Following near, also a small bat of black fur follows the woman around, resting from time to time on her shoulder

I am a channeler of mysteries, since very young my teacher and second father took me into learning the magic ways of the forest and spirits, he says The strenght of the Land of fredom resides within me, and apparently that has me with the ability to perfomr magic, Which has turned out to be a boon of sorts

Hornbori studies the construct with a professional eye, noting the details. "Hmmph. Not Numerian. Nor Shory, either. Was the design yours? Or did you begin with a template?" He isn't looking at Annabelle at all, but instead, examining the craftsmanship from close up, peering at the construct's joints and points of articulation.

She points out to the chest of the construct, then starts to explain, obviously full of pride on her creation

I won't say i did not had a head start, I've always been good with my hands and started to learn from others, But one nigth i had this dream about the core of energy that gave life to what now is my precious Galileo

This is not too common in my homeland, but i had help from other pathfinders specially from the lodge in Almas to get some parts of it, I can proudly say that the design is mine, most of it, i've learned some by studying Thuvian constructs as well, but it went way after the inspiration of its creation came to my mind,

Currently the construct although rather crude to first sight, its mobile enough and agile enough to work well in combat, it has spikes inisde of the arms to provide a way to piece the armor of the enemy with a strike, if needed, also while its eyes lack intelligence, it follows simple commands and looks sturdy enough, Anabelle has placed some coils on the arms as well, which means that the construct also has been used to grab things or enemies often

"Ah yes! This is more exciting than languishing in the Vault where that mushroom piled all those chests on me. Anyway, to business! Mr Glovely, go grab the poison sword please..."

Mr. Glovely emerges bearing a sickly green abysium greatsword encased in a translucent sheath.

"Quite the blade, eh?" Biglock says cheerfully, as Mr. Glovely gingerly holds out a glowing green sword. The blade is chipped and cracked, leaking an unpleasant liquid into the bottom of its translucent sheath. "Or it would be, if it were intact. Don’t take it out of the sheath! It’s made from abysium, a poisonous skymetal, but it’s been damaged. The thing’s leaking all over the place, contaminating everything else in its storage area. We’ve got to get it fixed soon, but skymetals are hard to come by. The only supplier in Absalom is a fetchling by the name of Tesyovensku, who runs a warehouse in the bazaar. Zarta wants you to negotiate purchase of an abysium ingot from them to fix the sword. Easy peasy—or so you’d think, but Tesyovensku has had some run-ins with the Onyx Alliance leader’s agents, so they might be hesitant to touch a job relating to them, even tangentially. The Society’s already arranged a meeting, so your mission is to win them over. Oh! And bring some tea if you can. Tesyovensku always offers customers Shadow Plane teas during business negotiations, so if you bring a gift of your own, it might help your first impression!"

"Before meeting with Tesyovensku, it would help if you brought him a suitable tea to help with negotiations. Also, take this. This will validate your identities to him."

Biglock lends you a messenger’s ring, embossed with the Pathfinders’ insignia above a small beagle, to verify your identities to Tesyovensku.

Nal accepts the messenger's ring, then looks around. "Unless someone else wants it?" Nal has +10 Diplomacy/Deception and +12 Intimidation.

She eyes the leaky sword skeptically. "Poisonous, huh? ... So, Mr. Glovely, will you be carrying the sword for us the whole time?" If not, maybe we can convince Anabelle to have Galileo hold it for us. Poison shouldn't affect him, right?

Hornbori, Anabelle and Henri find a tea shop and pick out a suitable tea for Tesyovensku.

You arrive at Tesyovensku's shop.

Two loading doors open onto the floor of this large warehouse, with stacks of lumber and sealed barrels lined up against the walls inside. A colorful fresco is painted on the western wall of the otherwise utilitarian building, depicting various fey creatures and centaurs frolicking amid a lush green forest On the warehouse’s eastern side, a smaller interior office juts from the wall, its windows overlooking the fresco. The door bears an engraved plaque reading "By Appointment Only."

Tesyovensku greets you pleasantly but warily, welcoming you into their office. Tesyovensku is a cautious person, and they quickly recognize the seal of the Onyx Alliance upon the sword’s hilt. As the Alliance’s agents have tried to intercept them several times on their supply runs, hoping to obtain their skymetal sources, Tesyovensku is concerned about their wares potentially getting into the group’s hands.

Before starting the negotiations, each PC can attempt a DC 20 Diplomacy check or a DC 18 Lore (Mercantile is listed but other lore ok if you can make it fit) check to Make an Impression on Tesyovensku. Tesyovensku’s attitude begins as indifferent and they’ll hear out the PCs regardless of their results.

She gestures to the others, giving them an opportunity to introduce themselves--and maybe take over the talking if they're inclined.

"Ahh, a store to make a craftsmans heart swell with pride." says Khaul, eyeing up Tesyovensky and his abode.
