The young half elf enters into the room. The half-elf has Tian features. He bows in greetings and in a strong Tianaccent greets his companion. He is dressed in white and golden robes with flecks of gold in his hazel eyes. I am Iustanus. I am pleased to meet you all.
Iustanus carries a quarterstaff. The hand that holds the staff seems to have golden scales. The staff is carved in blue lacquer and with wave designs on it. It smells of rain.

A matronly looking gnome with multicolored hair and reading glasses perched on the very end of her nose greets Iustanus.
"Oh, how lovely to meet you dear! My name is Incendia, but please, call me Aunt Cindy."
She settles into the nearest chair and pulls out her knitting, which was nestled under a pile of adventuring gear.

You see a fair-skinned female aiuvarin, with long red hair under a tricorn hat. She wears a black sailor’s outfit, and has a dagger and hand crossbow at her hip.
“Good day t’ye”, she says, doffing her hat. ”Black Molly’s the name”

A half-orc monk holding a baton and wearing a healer's tool whose fists are wrapped with handwraps arrives and gives a silent nod to everyone.
"Gilgamesh." he introduces himself under the hood of his clothing, hiding his scars and eyes underneath.

Hanging out off to one side, Klaagor is a tall and lithe Kayal (more commonly called a Fetchling) with the typical black hair and pupilless eyes his people are known for. Despite the fact that he is not moving, his shadow seems to have a mind of its own and keeps trying to leave its post, wandering as close to the others as it can.
Dressed in simple armor and outfitted with a single starknife, it is noteworthy that Klaagor's hand rests on the spellbook tucked into a belt pouch rather than on the weapon.

"Oh, just a little thing to keep the hands busy," Cindy holds up the knitting. It might be the start of a blanket or scarf, but it looks more like a dishrag. "I may have dropped a few stitches, here and there, but it adds to the character."

Yigrig Moneymaker, the powerful goblin merchant, slumps in a large chair. His face, normally so proud and assured, looks troubled. “It’s good to see you, Pathfinders! I have a lot of respect for the Society. You’ve been good to me in the past, and my family has aided you in return. But today I come before you, my hat in my hands, in need of help.
“My family and I have almost brokered a trade agreement between the cities of Solku and Oenopion. It’s a beneficial deal, one where Solku gains the materials it needs to defend itself, Oenopion gains a new trading partner, and everyone stands to make a heap of coin. There’s only one issue standing in the way of the negotiation being finalized: a bridge must be constructed over the Elemion River to facilitate safe travel between the two cities. My family is responsible for building and maintaining this bridge. It should have been a simple job… easy to pull off.
“It has been anything but easy.”The old goblin leans forward. “Every morning at the work camp, it is discovered that more of my children have been pulled from their beds in the night, presumed dead. Every shipment of aid I send gets attacked. The last one I sent did not even arrive.
“There is a lot of money riding on this deal, but I admit this isn’t about money anymore. This is personal. Someone is harming my family and I can’t sit by and let that happen.“I have contracted the Pathfinder Society to protect the bridge and surrounding work camp while construction is completed. I have a caravan ready to leave, filled with new workers and supplies for the bridge site. I want you on it.
When you see it safely to the bridge site, I need you to stop the attacks on the camp by any means necessary until the job is complete. When you get to the work camp, you will meet my son Zig, the overseer of the project. Sweet kid… takes after his old man. He’ll be your liaison with the workers and see to your needs.
“Nothing is more important than family. Nothing. And so, I’m asking you to take care of mine. Our future is in your hands.
Many of you played this before. How about we make this fun and interactive. Maybe there is a certain villain you haven't fought yet despite playing this 12 times, or you just want someone to appear. Everyone Vote Primary Antagonist: Keff the Lion, Kip the Druid, Visu Mas the Lich and one for the Secondary Antagonist: Bandits, Kobolds or Wolves.

"Well, we can't have that!" Cindy packs away her crafts and is ready in a jiffy. "Where is this bridge? Any idea what is attacking? Is it vampires?"

With a smirk, Klaagor whispers to The Doctor, "Who turned out the lights?" and points to his own shadow.
Which is also pointing to itself.
---
"Sounds dire. Of course, will help. Where is the caravan gathering, and how long is the journey?"

Secondary Antagonist: Kobolds
Gilgamesh silently listens to the conversation, adjusting his handwraps once in a while.
"Tell us more about the attackers."

DoubleGold |

Votes: 4 for the Lich, there are 6 of you. So the Lich wins. 3 For the Bandits, 2 for the Kobolds and 1 for anything not bandits. Not bandits will translate to kobolds since nobody voted wolves. That makes it tied, 3 kobolds and 3 bandits. Kobolds it is.
He responds to Gilgamesh and Incendia. “Since the attacks began, information has been spotty getting out. However, I know that some sort of large animals have been attacking the work camp during the night, and something else has been aggressive toward anyone that tries to leave or enter the site, no matter what time of day. Bandits? Animals? Accounts have been conflicting, but whatever they are, they’re dangerous.”
The Bridge, well let me= show you a map. Maps
So the Bridge site is at area 18 or near it at least. For distance, there is a scale at the bottom that shows 60 miles, so if they from this point to this point, you can get an idea of how long as someone here asked.

"Understood."
Stepping back and looking at the group, Klaagor indicates he's satisfied and ready to go.
"Shall we to the caravan?"

"Shall we to the caravan?"
”Aye, let’s shove off”, Molly replies. ”Just one more for the crew. Cap’n on deck!”
The space beside her wavers, and a greenish-blue apparition appears. It looks like a human pirate, with a long gray beard and an eyepatch. One hand holds a cutlass, while the other has been replaced by a shadowy hook. A skull and crossbones appear on his hat, as well as Molly’s.
”Avast, me hearties!”, he proclaims. ”Silverbeard walks again!”
”We’ve got scallywags on the horizon, Cap’n. Time to board”
”Ha! Then they’ll taste steel from beyond the grave!”

*ponders*
I suppose that is a possibility. I just hope that no over zealous types get it into their heads to destroy him on sight
He turns to the Captain and pulls out a small paper bag. I'm the Doctor. Jelly baby?
He also offers one to Molly then to the other Pathfinders.
