Larry is certain that he's drunk now. Darius was talking like some sort of Perv! Darius! Mr. Straight and laced, and correct me for being rude! No.... This had to be something he and the new girl, Dagny had planned. This whole discussion was just wrong!
He looks hard at his friend and replies. "Well, they're Gods. They can do whatever they want. I need more ale. My mug is empty."
He gets up and slowly walks to the bar to request more....

Darius Deverin |

Darius smiled a rosy-cheeked drunken smile. "Ah, Larry! But as devotees, should we not follow their example? Think how many relationships The Accidental God can maintain? Isn't Cayden Cailean known for keeping company with Calistra?"
The aasimar acquires a hungry look when glancing at the cleric and halfling at the table.

Dagny Lyght |

'They can, but I personally would perfer one fellow or gal. Though I wouldn't oppose my spouse wishing to add more."
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Trying to read the group and see if she needs to change topic or apologize to Lawrence as she is an outsider here

Lawrence Hastings |

Surprised at the discussion Larry sits down with his drink. He thinks hard about their words, and what he knows about Cayden…. ”Well, I’ll just follow His example of being strong for the weaker ones, helping out when I can, and enjoying time with good friends. And…. being loyal to my one good woman, if she ever finds me! And if SHE wants to invite any of her girlfriends…. that’s up to her and good to me.”

GM KoolKobold |

Tomodai
His aunt ushers him to one of her rooms where she immediately scribbles down stuff onto a piece of paper.
Everyone else
Ameiko makes sure the company is well kept with ale and bread. She leans in to whisper to Darius and Lawrence,

Darius Deverin |

Darius sits up straight. "Yes, ma'am." The paladin answers under his breath.

Tomodai |

Tomo takes the paper from his aunt and looks it over, it indeed was the reagents needed to make healing potions as she had already taught him. Still he was sure Nisk was hoping that she had the ingredients on hand.
Tomo awaited his Aunt's response before heading out.

Dagny Lyght |

'Thank you Ms. Ameiko, I love the food and the service. I would hate to give up the chance but can I have a chance to come and learn some recipes! I want to learn as much as I can about cooking" She says with a genuine smile.

GM KoolKobold |

Ameiko sputtered into a laugh when the two men stood up straight. “Relax you two!” she snorted, “I wasn’t scolding you guys or anything. Just be mindful of the time, is all.” With that she went to get more ale and bread for them.
Tomodai
His aunt gave a sigh and said,

Lawrence Hastings |

Larry sits back down and takes hold of his mug. Ameiko didn't look as old as his mother. How could she invoke such a reaction....
He glances over to Darius and holds up the mug. "To.... time."

Tomodai |

Tomo nods to his aunts statement about nothing else being doable today and then responds,
With things concluded with his aunt he makes the short walk down Hook Street, then taking a left down the longer Whisker Street, with the a left onto Market Street and the short walk to the Rusty Dragon where he hoped to find those adventurous folk he had fought with during the raid.
Upon stepping into the inn he indeed finds them altogether and wanders over to the tables, "Greetings again everyone." He then finds a place to sit and orders a quality wine that he can savor.

Lawrence Hastings |

Larry looks up from his mug with a grin. ”Tomo! Have a seat! Oh, you’re already…. Never mind. What’s been keeping you busy? Darius and I have been talking and getting in trouble with the girls, as usual.”

Tomodai |

"Ah thanks for asking, well first I stopped by the Bottled Solutions and helped Nisk with making additional curative potions to supply to the town. Then I stopped in to check on my aunt Hannah to make sure she was okay and was asked to go search for various reagents needed for making more curative potions, which is what has brought me here." He looks about the table to make sure everyone can hear him (aka they are not overly distracted) then continues, "I was wondering if you all might be interested in a little excursion tomorrow to gather these reagents as the the town seems to still be in great need of more curative potions and my aunt does not want me going alone with the recent Goblin raid and all." He again looks at each person at the table, "So, what say you all, any of you interested?"

Darius Deverin |

"For the betterment of Sandpoint, I shall help you", Darius stated.

Tomodai |

"Well I simply have a list of plant, mineral, and animal products that we will be looking for and I will explain what to look for with each of them but you will most likely need some familiarity with nature {Survival Skill} but some actual knowledge about it would be even more helpful {Knowledge (Nature)} and unless you have a good measure of both I will probably be the one to do all the harvesting. What I my aunt was most concerned about was with the recent overly hostile Goblin activity that we just experienced that the nearby mountains and woods might be more dangerous than usual and protection would be helpful even if we do not encounter any hostiles while we are out."

Lawrence Hastings |

Larry grins at Tomo's explanation. He knows a little about hunting, but he'd never studied.... anything! "Those goblins won't be coming around again anytime soon. But I'll have my sword ready if we see anything dangerous."

Tomodai |

"Yes and that is want my aunt had wanted, I will be sure to let her know in case you ever need some healing, as that is what she does as she will most likley give you some credit against any healing she needs to perform for you."

Wyssal Freeling |

Wyssal stays well out of the spat between the guy named Ven and, well, anyone who he comes in contact with. Having grown up a Vsrisian traveler, she's seen plenty of this sort of thing. Sedentary folk commonly mistrust Varisians who are moving through their town or hamlet and blame whatever has happened lately on them.
In her experience there's no way to win in this kind of situation. Apologies will be taken to imply guilt. Protests of innocence will be taken as lies and deceit. Minding one's own business and letting a drunken man like Ven blow on by is the best course to take whenever one can.
By the time he's gone, Wyssal has finished her food and recklessly moved on to another ale. She giggles her way through Larry's rapturous, and obviously performative, comparisons of Odette to her. It's pretty clear the attention is sweet, sweet nectar to her. As far as the rest...
"Well, I'm not in the market right now. And to the extent I can speak for her, I doubt Odette is either. We stopped off here for a while to visit, Odette's relatives own Risa's Place. We've been here for a few months now, so I figure we'll be catching a caravan out of town to be on our way fairly soon. I don't see us spending a whole year here."
When talk turns to marriage, both the boring and interesting forms, Wyssal has little to say aside from "Ugh, marriage. What a terrifying notion."
After her cup is emptied again, Wyssal hops down from the bench. "Time for a refill!"
Before she walks away, Wyssal grabs Dagny's arm and starts pulling her. "You're coming with me!"

Dagny Lyght |

Dagny blinks and follows the halfling. " Oh okay" she says stepping off her seat and followinf the halfling.
" What did you need Wyssal? Oo was it an odea for snacks during the herb gathering?" She asks a bit xcit3d about cooking.

Darius Deverin |

"Those goblins won't be coming around again anytime soon. But I'll have my sword ready if we see anything dangerous."
"As will my blade", Darius adds, nodding at the caydenite. "I think I will take another mug of ale before bed."

Wyssal Freeling |

Wyssal reaches up to plop her mug on the bar and ask for a refill. Then she turns to lean in toward Dagny. She is grinning conspiratorially at Dagny, her eyes bright and maybe a bit glassy at this point in the evening.
"So earlier, when we were outside before coming here, you were chatting with Darius. He was complimenting you, but you kept deflecting. You do know he was flirting with you right? But, you shut him right down. Did you do it on purpose or not?"

Dagny Lyght |

"Flirting? I...with me, no he wasnt" Dagny says as she calmed herself and then continued.
"No one really flirts with me. The Lucky Lads flirted with ladies and exchanged coin or pleasantries no boys ever approached me. Figured boys just didnt like me." Dagny says seemingly unphased by the last part.
"Lets um table this okay" she says blushing as she looks off to the side and down at the floor.

GM KoolKobold |

Ameiko refills the party’s mugs, then rings a bell calling out, “Last round everyone!” There were collective groans, but nobody seemed to object-some even paid for their drinks and meals and went on their way.

Lawrence Hastings |

Larry holds his mug up for one final toast, "To friends, old and new, all good!" then tips it up.... slowly drinking until it is empty.
"And a Good Night to all!" And he goes home and to bed.

Darius Deverin |

Slightly tipsy, Darius steadies himself as he stands. "Do any of you ladies need a escort home?"

Wyssal Freeling |

Wyssal is probably intoxicated enough to press on protests or not, but Ameiko's last call saves Dagny.
"Fine, but remember you asked me for advice. I'll drop the subject for now, but I'll leave you with three things to think about."
"First: Yes, Darius was flirting with you. I'm not making any claims like he's in love with you or anything, just that whatever small or great meaning it had doesn't matter. You didn't see it for what it was. Why?"
"Second: You say none of the men in a brothel flirted with you. Unless you were soliciting along with the other women, and I doubt you were, that's meaningless. They are in a brothel exactly because they don't have to bother with flirting, or romance, or much of anything else there. That is why money is changing hands. You were uniquely avoided by them because you were the only risky proposition in the building."
"Third: Why did it bother you so much when I brought up this subject? While I wasn't flirting with you, I did exactly what Darius did, compliment you. When Darius did it, you shut him down right away. When I complimented you by telling you what he was doing, you shut me down right away too. What are you afraid of?"
You asked me to teach to to be more social. I accept, and now you are my project. Consider thinking about what I've said to be homework."
Wyssal smiles at Dagny and gives her a quick, shallow curtsey. She then turns to fetch her newly filled mug from the counter and walks away.

Tomodai |

Tomo finishes his drink and reminds everyone before they leave to meet him in the morning on the Sandpoint Bridge which is next to Two Knight Brewery in case they did not know which bridge he was referring to. Then he makes his way back home to help his aunt with any other prep work or such that she might need help with before settling in for meditation time.

Darius Deverin |

If none of the ladies need escort home, Darius leaves the establishment to make the walk up Deverin Hill.

Tomodai |

OCC: Okay per the GM if you have concluded this days events the next days events begin when you wake up to head and meetup with Tomo at the Sandpoint Bridge -- although the GM may interupt that I am just going off that premise here.
Having spent literally the rest of the day helping to work on preparing various remedies for his auntie's shop, Tomo and his auntie finally settle in for a period of solemn rememberance a ritual that every child does on their own once they are old enough to understand the concept and do so. Following that bit of downtime, he gets up and gathers his belongings and heads to the Sandpoint Bridge to await the others to arrive.

Darius Deverin |

Clarification, when I say over the next few days, I mean irl days, not in game days. Just saying that while I work on the next encounters continue to RP
I'll TRY, but I've written Darius into a corner. Let me see if I can turn him around.
Something didn't feel right for the paladin. So Darius turned around and walked back to The Rusty Dragon and waiting for Dagny and Wissal to appear.
If anyone else has any better ideas, throw them at me!

Tomodai |

OCC: I figured we just begin the next day, any preprep you all wanted to do then meetup at the bridge and talk a bit about where we will be going and the potential problems we might incur to make sure everyone has everything they need before departing.
Oh and maybe Dagny will bring breakfast with her and we can eat that on the bridge as well prior to setting out.

Dagny Lyght |

Dagny holds a basket with wrapped Bread, Jam, butter, honey and fruits. Along side a small wheel of cheese and some travel bacon. She isnt wearinf her armor though has her scimitar. Simple pale blue and grey can be seen, though she wears a scarf of blue over her hair to shield it from the harsh parts of the Sun.
" Hello" she swys eith a smile as she seems so tiny and delicate without her arms and armor.
" I brought breakfast and lunch" She says with a very warm and almost girlish demeanor.

Tomodai |

Tomo looks to Dagny and replies, "Well you are the first to arrive, but you seem to be under dressed for this excursion. While the focus is gathering reagents that does not mean this excursion will be all that safe with that recent Goblin activity there is a chance that we might encounter more such activity outside the town." Oh and I am sure Wyssal will be happy that you brought a full breakfast." He gives a smile and continues, "And by that I mean, the breakfast and lunch you indicated you brought. Hin do seem to have quite an appetite for their diminuative size. If I recall the usually have breakfast, second breakfast although I am not sure why they call it that since they had already technically broke the fast caused by sleeping, then elevenses which is followed by luncheon, then they have afternoon tea which is a full meal, followed by early dinner, which is followed by supper, then evening tea which again is another full meal, then evening snack, and final bedtime partaking and if you are not unaware each one of those most folk would consider to be a full meal."

Lawrence Hastings |

I thought that we were ending that day and starting the next. ??
Larry wakes up the next morning in a very happy mood. He had some new friends and plans for the day that didn't include riding along as a guard for some wagons that weren't worth robbing. He didn't really want to run into any goblins. He knew they were dangerous but it wasn't fear. He just didn't really like killing them, or anything. Actually, sometimes he knew the cargo on the wagons was worth stealing. But then there'd be a couple other guards along, and it would take a big group to attack and have any chance of success. Hopefully that would never happen.
He stretches and clears his mind. Actually he has to roll off of his bed and stretch on the floor. He'd been too big to fully stretch in his bed for years now. He'd thought about getting his own place and a bigger bedroom with a bigger bed for a few years too. But, sometimes his parents needed help. He looked a lot like his father, but was a few inches taller and stronger. And his father was getting old. So was his mother. He pauses, not enjoying this line of thinking. This was to be a fun day!
He rolls over and starts doing push-ups. He does fifty with his left arm, then fifty more with his right, then another hundred with both arms. He switches to sit-ups, then stands and does deep squats holding a small barrel that he had filled with rocks. He considers going out for a jog but then notices the sky getting light. He'd barely have time to wash and get his gear on if he wanted time for breakfast before meeting the group.
As he leaves the house he also takes his bow. He didn't normally carry it. Not much need for a longbow inside the town.
Arriving at the Rusty Dragon he takes a table and requests a large breakfast. He didn't know if they'd have time for lunch and didn't want to be too hungry come dinner time. He waits for any of the group to join him.
I know you are meeting at the bridge. But Larry had already left for the night so he doesn't know yet....

Tomodai |

OCC: No I specifically stated that Tomo made sure that everyone remembered to meet at the bridge before they left and Lawrence was actually there when the initial meeting at the bridge was put upon the table so-to-speak. So he should be fully aware of it assuming his addled mind does not completely forget.

Lawrence Hastings |

Semper Gumby. After he eats breakfast he heads for the bridge.
Larry arrives at the bridge a little late, fully armed and armored. (as usual for him) "Hi guys. Were we supposed to bring baskets or something to carry whatever we are gathering?"

Tomodai |

"No, I have all the containers needed for garthering the reagents." Tomo then pauses and says thoughtfully, "Still, if we find anything beyond that, I have not planned for that but I am not expecting that either. I would guess your backpacks will do though or we will have to hide it and come back for it later."

Darius Deverin |

Please ignore. (sigh)
Darius comes walking up. "My apologies, everyone. Shall we go?"

Tomodai |

"Hi Darius, no not quite yet Wyssal has not yet arrived but Dagny brought us breakfast. So perhaps we can partake of that while we wait."
"Sure Wyssal," he accepts the basket from Wyssal, "Dagny has not arrived yet but regardless be assured we will wait for you before heading out."

Tomodai |

OCC: Dang I had it right the first time my apologies should not have second guessed myself and then get it wrong ;-) please swap the two names. I would but they will not let me edit it now
