I didn't see any opposition to my "set fire to the orphanage and bayonet the children as the come running out" plan, so we should get started on that.

With no objections to his idea, Continuum packs the explosives and plans into his satchel and begins heading towards the base with the rest of the group.

Though hopefully the real opp omits the actual children part. Perhaps someone should scout it out just to be sure?

Sorry, that's something of an inside joke.

Utah Raptor: Parry 11, Ranged TN 6, Toughness 18(6)| Wounds: 0; Fatigue: 0; Bennies: 3/2

The joke was obvious, but it did highlight the point that we dont know who else might be inside the building. We are badguys, but killing bystanders is bad for business, as well as bad for PR.

Utah Raptor: Parry 11, Ranged TN 6, Toughness 18(6)| Wounds: 0; Fatigue: 0; Bennies: 3/2

"Tell you what, let me scope the place out for potential collateral damage. I'll go in as a kid, or an old lady, or some such, or if need be, as a mosquito. If the place is clear of girlfriends, kids, or hangers-on, we can bring the whole place down guilt free."

If there are no objections, Enkidu will head over to the location to have a look around.

Enkidu, once you get close to the site you'd probably decide you'd need to go in a a mosquito, the security is so tight. There are a few women hanging around, but they seem to be as involved in the men in the gang operations.

School's out for summer, or what's left of it at least.

Alpha, Beta, and Gamma wait for Enkidu's return, each taking a watchpoint to call out potential patrols or ambush points they may not have seen coming.

Just a bit of flavor before our scout returns.

I don't know if y'all are waiting on me, but I'm waiting for Enkidu to come back from his scouting mission and report, so y'all can decide what to do next.

Utah Raptor: Parry 11, Ranged TN 6, Toughness 18(6)| Wounds: 0; Fatigue: 0; Bennies: 3/2

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought my scouting trip was completed.

Looking the place over, Enkidu decides if he wants to see the inside, it will likely have to be as an insect. Contrary to what he said earlier, he doesn't think a Mosquito would be a good idea; it might look natural, but then, getting slapped at that size would not be fun. He thinks for a moment and instead opts for a Ladybug (or Ladybird, if you prefer). Pretty, innocuous, and generally considered good luck, he'd be about the same size, but much less likely to end up under a book or roll of newspaper.

Once transformed, he headed for the building's upper windows, looking for an opening.

Sorry, crossed wires : I told you above what you saw when you scouted, I was waiting for you to come back and tell the team so the group can decide how to proceed.

Utah Raptor: Parry 11, Ranged TN 6, Toughness 18(6)| Wounds: 0; Fatigue: 0; Bennies: 3/2

After his trip, Enkidubug flies back to HQ and let's the others know what he has found.

"Were you able to get inside?"

Yes, he was. Anything in particular you wish to know about?

BOD 5; AGI 4; REA 3; STR 3; WIL 3; LOG 3; INT 5; CHA 9 | EDG 3; Magic: 6

Mainly the layout of the place, so I can know where I'm teleporting.

Enkidu describes the layout of the building in detail, sketching a pretty detailed map.

What do you all do now?

Utah Raptor: Parry 11, Ranged TN 6, Toughness 18(6)| Wounds: 0; Fatigue: 0; Bennies: 3/2

"Looks like there will be minimal opportunity for collateral damage. We can take the gloves off. Getting in position to plant the bombs may be tricky though.

BOD 5; AGI 4; REA 3; STR 3; WIL 3; LOG 3; INT 5; CHA 9 | EDG 3; Magic: 6

"It's not getting into position that's a problem, it's getting caught, but we can't fight a revolution by hiding under our beds, now, can we. I'll go start placing the explosives. If I run into trouble, I'll come back here."

with that, Continuum shoulders the bag with the explosives and then teleports to the first location.

Alpha, Beta, and Gamma watch as Continuum moves to enact the plan.

"Demolitions are being set, hopefully the target's inside and not ready for us. We should be ready to move in to finish the target off if neccessary."

Continuum, please make a Smarts roll at -4 for teleporting to a place you've never been to before.

How far away from the building are you all? There's guards and sentries out to a 100 foot radius.

Utah Raptor: Parry 11, Ranged TN 6, Toughness 18(6)| Wounds: 0; Fatigue: 0; Bennies: 3/2

We need to be out of the blast radius, but close enough to move in quickly for cleanup. I'll be a songbird on a ledge up on top of one of the buildings above an outer sentry.

Nope, you're safe for now.

Continuum, what do you do now?

BOD 5; AGI 4; REA 3; STR 3; WIL 3; LOG 3; INT 5; CHA 9 | EDG 3; Magic: 6

What sort of check is it to place explosives?

I could be mean, and say that's a skill, so you'd have to roll it at d4-2, but that seems harsh. Let's just assume that you've had some experience with turning electronics on, and so no roll needed.

Are you walking from location to location to plant the explosives, or 'porting?

Alpha, Beta, and Gamma will copy Angel's flight abilities and be positioned on the perimeter.

That is, if she'll let him.

So, Continuum manages to plant the explosives without incident. Assuming he teleports back to the group (no roll needed), what do you all do now?

Utah Raptor: Parry 11, Ranged TN 6, Toughness 18(6)| Wounds: 0; Fatigue: 0; Bennies: 3/2

Villains go boom, we move in and clean up. Seems pretty straightforward, unless anyone else feels we need more of a plan?

"Wings are so....odd, when you're not flying. How do you manage?" Gamma asks Dark Angel.

Enkidu seems to have the idea. The Triplets can do air recon and dive for survivors while Dark Angel maintains prime air control.

"It is difficult, but one adjusts after a while. I much prefer the feel of the open sky, with my wings spread wide to catch the currents."

So, you electronically set off the explosives. There's a deep rumble, and you feel the ground vibrate beneath your feet (those of you on the ground, that is). Almost in slow-motion, the building simply...falls straight down into the ground.

Virtually no one got out of the building before it collapsed, but the outside guards are panicking like crazy - running around, looking for someone to shoot, etc.

What else do you want to do?

"This is Alpha. Ground forces are scrambling but now movement at ground zero. Should we commence picking off the perimeter or circle the area to ensure prime directive has been destroyed?"

Enkidu and Continuum seem to be taking lead on this op so I'll wait for approval so their plan goes off well.

Sorry for the long delay, Paizo was down for a *long* time...

Enkidu and Continuum, anything in particular you want to do?

Utah Raptor: Parry 11, Ranged TN 6, Toughness 18(6)| Wounds: 0; Fatigue: 0; Bennies: 3/2

[OOC]Nothing special.[ooc]

Enkidu will drop down off the building, and maul the guard below him, while waiting to see if the mark blasts himself free of the rubble.

He shifts into the shape of a gryphon, and lands with talons extended.

Fighting: 1d12 ⇒ 101d6 ⇒ 3
Fighting 2: 1d12 ⇒ 91d6 ⇒ 1
Claw 1: 1d12 + 1 + 2d6 + 2d6 ⇒ (8) + 1 + (6, 6) + (1, 4) = 26
Claw 2: 1d12 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 1 + (3, 3) = 8
Raise on 1, if applicable: 26 + 1d6 ⇒ 26 + (2) = 28
Raise on 2, if applicable: 8 + 1d6 ⇒ 8 + (3) = 11

Finding the first armed person he sees that survived the explosion, Continuum will walk up to him and say "Are you okay friend? That looked aweful." before blasting him.

Shooting Roll | Wild Die: 1d6 ⇒ 41d6 ⇒ 1
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5

Enkidu shreds the gaurd, while Continuum's shot just makes his man angry, so he pulls his weapon and fires :

Shooting: 1d8 ⇒ 8 Raise! No need to re-roll...

Damage: 2d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (3, 1) + (5) = 9

Which Shakens Continuum.

I won't do initiative rounds unless more people get involved, so Enkidu and Continuum, take your next actions.

Alpha One, Dark Angel - y'all still out there?

Just a mix of school obligations and the site being spotty made for a long absence.

"Moving in to engage."

Which then Alpha and Beta will begin to dive, their guns ready and will fire when possible on Enkidu's (if not decmiated then Continuums) target ( and if not that then just random survivor guards).

Alpha Shooting: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 61d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + (1) = 7
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 6) = 8

Beta Shooting: 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + (3) = 9
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6

Alpha's and Beta's targets are Shaken, and cannot return fire right now.

Fighting: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Wild: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Damage: 1d10 + 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + (4) + 2 = 8 [AP2]

Angel's attack leaves her foe Shaken as well.

Enkidu and Continuum, take your next actions.

Enkidu flies over to the pile of rubble and debris settling from the imploded building. He shifts as he lands, solidifying in the shape of a 8 ft tall bipedal dinosaur. As a Utah Raptor, he starts using his bloodhound like sense of smell to look for potential survivors.

Tracking: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 121d6 ⇒ 4
Ace!: 12 + 1d10 ⇒ 12 + (10) = 22
Double Ace! Wow...: 22 + 1d10 ⇒ 22 + (4) = 26

Ok, so he finds the dead, the survivors, and determines what they ate for their last three meals...

Continuum again blasts the man, all manner of joviality gone.

Shooting | Wild Die: 1d6 ⇒ 11d6 ⇒ 5
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3 Man, I just can't catch a break.

Continuum, you were left Shaken, so please make a Spirit roll to act this time (not that it matters this time, but you might be left Shaken for next time).

Enkidu, what are you doing with the survivors (saving them, interrogating them, killing them, etc.)?

Utah Raptor: Parry 11, Ranged TN 6, Toughness 18(6)| Wounds: 0; Fatigue: 0; Bennies: 3/2

We were pretty sure everyone in the building was a baddy, so likely dispatching them, where appropriate. Anyone that looks mortally wounded he'll finish off out of mercy. Those too injured to fight he'll leave alive, though he might interrogate them to find out what area of the building the bad guy was in. Those that look dangerous he'd attack. Obviously, any women, children, or mentally infirm he found he would aid if needed, though hopefully he doesnt find any. Primarily he is looking for the Mark, and hoping to either confirm his death, or finish him off if he can.
