Rain looks downcast but brightens when Noggin forgives him. After a short while he is back to enthusing about the ruins. "This is so amazing, it must be Azlanti, see this design here?"

A single stone door is closed near the southern end of the hall.

"Trapped? Why would it be trapped? Sounds too dangerous to go around trapping all your doors and hallways, what if you forgot?" Confident in his logic, the young goblin sets to looting the place, his eyes wide at the sight of a magic sword "Oooh! Can we keep it?" He asks hopefully, cradling his shiny new object of affection.

I'd like to make immediate use of this unless someone else wants to use it.

Cirri pulls out a kit of carefully maintained tools and starts work on the spear trap. The mechanism is very old and this makes it all the more difficult to disarm. With that knowledge though, she is able to release and gently relieve the pressure on the trigger. A large barbed spear slides harmlessly out of the slot in the wall.

Yes, Delta needed to come up to the mold to use survival on it, so is currently in the cave. If one of the others in the corridor (Noggin, Cirri or Priya) votes to come back I'll move the entire party to the cave entrance. Alternatively if Niccolo or Delta want to leave the mold and cave alone then we can group up in the corridor.

I don't mind which way we go, as long as we're all together. Continuing through the ruins seems the most logical, but if Delta really wants to investigate the mold, I'm fine with going in the cave

Swallowed :
A swallowed creature is grabbed, is slowed 1, and has to hold its breath or start suffocating. The swallowed creature takes 1d8+1 bludgeoning plus 1d6 acid at the end of each turn. If the victim Escapes this ability’s grabbed condition, it exits through the monster’s mouth. This frees any other creature grabbed in the monster’s mouth or jaws. A swallowed creature can attack the monster that has swallowed it, but only with unarmed attacks or with weapons of light Bulk or less. The engulfing creature is flat-footed against the attack. If the monster takes piercing or slashing damage equaling or exceeding the listed Rupture value from a single attack or spell, the engulfed creature cuts itself free. A creature that gets free by either Escaping or cutting itself free can immediately breathe and exits the swallowing monster’s space.

"I'll suppress the other plant, someone help Noggin!" Priya calls out as she shifts her stance, taking a deep breath as she tries to gather her focus, focusing in on the distant plant and lining up her shot, "There!" She called out, firing off one arrow that quickly dissolves into a streaking bolt of light before quickly nocking and releasing a flaming one following its trajectory!

The group hears Noggins cries from inside the first flytrap, then sees the ancient blade emerging from the toothy closed leaf, a gush of acidic liquid and finally Noggin gracefully slides out of the creature's wilting grasp. He finishes by quaffing a potion and facing the monster.

Cirri strides into the chamber and whips the second flytrap with solidified air, but sadly the gust of air just ruffles its leaves.

With the first plant looking close to death and the second badly scorched and still burning, it is down to Morthos, Lidya, Delta and Niccolo!

The flow of life energy away from you can't be reversed. In addition to the effects of your minor curse, you can't be healed by magical effects originating from other creatures. However, if you are unconscious, magical effects can restore you to 1 HP (but no higher). You are affected normally by healing elixirs, potions, and other items. When you cast heal and all your targets are living creatures, you roll d12s instead of d8s for the amount of healing.

"Not much but enough to keep you hold to life." Delta tells her sheepishly.

Focused Assault :
The flytrap attacks a single target with both its leaves. The flytrap makes one leaf Strike. On a success, the flytrap deals the damage from one leaf Strike plus an additional 1d8 damage for every leaf beyond the first. On a failure, the flytrap deals the damage from one leaf Strike, but it can’t use Improved Grab. It deals no damage on a critical failure. This counts toward the flytrap’s multiple attack penalty as a number of attacks equal to the number of leaves the flytrap has.
