Caine hardly notices the dead dog drop down. The Amurun looks about and doesn't seem an Elder so he Strides quickly to the closest door....
Kazmuk tries to grab the Amurun before he starts another fight.

"No, stop. We need to treat Peat's wounds first!" He yells. He grabs out his medical tools and starts doing just that.

Kazmuk does his best to treat the wounds of the injured Leshy. He's never treated a plant before, so he just pushes a few broken branches back into position and ties them back to Pine's main body with a bit of rope.
"Now don't exert yourself too hard, ye hear! Or them ropes will fall off along with your branches." He warns the Leshy.
Kazmuk, being a dwarf, feels quite at home underground. He peers off into the darkness of the tunnel, looking for anything strange.
"I think we should go into the tunnel." He suggests to the party. "Can the rest of you see in the dark?"

Caine just winks at Kazmuk as the dwarf begins tying up Peat's wounds. While waiting, the Amurun takes out his lock picks to begin on the doors.

Blueberry Peat considers the options and finally offers their measured consideration as an investigator, "I agree that clearing the house first makes sense, then exploring the tunnel. If we go into the tunnel first, we'll have to fear someone coming along from behind us and blocking off our means of escape."

This long storage room runs north to south with smaller firkins and kegs lining the walls, as well as small padded crates with delicate glass bottles. Some of the packing straw has been repurposed as improvised bedding, though most of it has now been soiled. The stench of filth and waste fill this chamber. A single iron door that you entered the room in exits to the west. There are three surviving prisoners are malnourished,
dehydrated, infected with something...They all look at you with distrust, but have not attacked yet....
Roll religion and medicine to learn stuff and how do you want to deal with these three?

The men react to your coming close, but as you don't move to harm them, they let you treat them. Bad things have happened to them...
You can't tell much but you can tell the are Gorumites. As ask, one says, The temple has fallen! Now most of these mad men worship Xar-Azmak! What a travesty!
You can also tell they are infected with something. Possibly the same thing that befell the goat outside in the stable. It's a magic illness causing them to rust. It's honestly the damnedest thing! Quite literally as you believe it may have come from the realm of demons.

The men look at one another, think , and then say, hells if we know. Some kind of demon. We remain strong in the faith of Gorum. Please get is out of here. We fail our god in that we can not fight, but we want to warn the rest of the town!
As for the illness, we know not. All we know is those affected rust! The living rust like poorly treated swords. We need seek the help of powerful clerics! May Gorum save us!
They dont know much nor can they do much.

The three men all run up the stairs toward the main door. As they enter the main hall, they stop. This room holds long benches and tables. A double door leads to the south. Single doors lead to the north, east, and west. This room also holds two former acolytes of Gorum who now worship some demon. They prepare to fight!

Thanks to Kazmuk's AC with Raise Shield (pre-raised due to Defend), I think only the first attack by the second acolyte hits for 7 damage. Very cool.
Kazmuk gets really mad upon getting hit! He rages and punches the enemy twice.

Kazmuk goes back into the house to assist the others in exploring. He suddenly bends over in pain, his untreated wounds biting at him.
"Hey, uh, I'm not feeling too good after they hit me. Can we take 10 minutes to heal up?" He asks the others.
