Welcome to the game!
Before we begin, please fill out the macros, slides and signup sheet linked at the top of the page. On the slides please add your token and work out the matching order. Please also dot in to the gameplay page with the character you will be playing.
If you have GM glyphs to share, please post who you are giving them to here.
We’ll use this forum for general discussion about the game.
A bit of housekeeping:
* Please post once per weekday and once on weekends. Real life takes priority of course, but let us know if you'll be unable to post for a bit if you can. In combat, I'll generally delay a character if they haven't posted for 24 hours while it is their turn. However, if you have botting instructions on your character and are happy for me or another player to bot them, please post below.
* As per the Pathfinder Society Community Standards, each player must decide if they will allow their characters to be damaged by friendly fire (usually via splash damage). While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.
Thanks for joining and I hope we’ll all have a fun game!

Dotting, also friendly fire's fine (though if I'm in a position to take it then things have probably gone horribly horribly wrong anyway).
Either way thanks for having me along and looking forward to the adventure!

![]() |

Morthos will try to stay out of friendly-fire.

Lidya Irsiya |

His eidolon will more likely need to deal with it (so okay with it).

![]() |

Dotted in and everything filled out! Noggin is fine with friendly fire... He probably wouldn't even notice where it's coming from tbh :)

![]() |

Thanks for GMing. Hi fellow players.
- I have 2 GM glyphs, I'll prioritize level 1 PCs. Priya and Noggin can have them.
- Friendly Fire is fine unless I will be knocked unconscious or are already unconscious.
- One of my impulses is >Four Winds< and will give you a free Stride action at half speed. I can do this for 4 of you, so please give me a heads up when you want it (I'm looking at you frontliner types!)
- I'll be using >this image< as my icon.

GM Brenael |

We still have a few tasks to finish before we can get too far in:
Pennypockets: macros
Grallen Frostbane: macros, slides (token and marching order), info line on profile
Morthos Talandro - all good
Priya Samara - all good
Cirri Merryweather - all good
Noggin Ninetoes - all good
Pennypockets and Grallen could you also nominate who gets your coin and glyphs please? Options are: Pennypockets, Morthos Talandro, Cirri Merryweather, and Grallen Frostbane.

I'll keep my coin but I can reallocate if someone is having a horrible day :)
For everyones awareness:
Campaign Service Coin: Volunteers who make exceptional contributions to Organized Play can earn campaign coins or membership in the Order of the Wayfinder as a recognition of their hard work. When you use this benefit, you gain a bonus Hero Point at the beginning of the adventure. In addition to the normal powers of a Hero Point, you can spend this special Hero Point to allow another player to reroll a check.

Thanks for the Glyph, Cirri, and Noggin is always happy for a little extra speed whenever he can get it.
Hi fellow players. Just thought I should mention that this is my first 2e game, so I might do some strange things. However, I'm looking forward to learning with y'all!

Shieldbug! I didn't notice it was you until just now. Good to play together again.

![]() |

Hey PaleDim! It's good to see you. Yeah, my first game back and just feeling it out to see if I have enough time for PbP again. Also, I'm mighty curious about PF2E. I'm glad my first game back is with a familiar face, and that Arin made it all the way to level 10!

![]() |

I have to admit my 1e characters have gone by the wayside a bit, enjoying 2e and all. But yes, Arin made it quite a ways before 2e took over. I hope the time factor works out for you and you can stick around long term.

Lidya Irsiya |

For when we eventually get into combat, Morthos and Lidya have this reaction in case Morthos takes a hit.
(eidolon, occult, transmutation) Trigger An enemy within 15 feet of you hits you with a Strike and deals damage to you. Requirements Your eidolon is within 15 feet of you. Effect Your eidolon instinctively flashes with ectoplasmic energy, allowing them to strike back against an enemy who dares to harm you. Your eidolon makes a melee unarmed Strike against the triggering enemy, even if that enemy isn’t within your eidolon’s reach.

Looks like no one needs Four Winds for a free Stride at half speed. The enemy is so close already.
I feel like I would absolutely love that ability in a regular scenario... Extra mobility for my little wrecking ball :)

![]() |

Four Winds would have been useful for my turn so I could spellstrike out the gate (since 1 action draw weapon, 1 action move to get Line of Effect leaves me only enough for a regular strike) but I can make do without.

![]() |

Yeah, it's my first time playing 2e and I totally just read that ability as extra movement. But now I think about it, a free Stride is even more valuable. I could have used that to move, then have the extra action to put two hands on Noggin's bastard sword for D12 damage... I'm really interested to see how the fewer AoO in 2e work out too! Movement must be much more prevalent now

![]() |

You'd be surprised how the reduction from 30 ft to 25 ft of movement makes things way more tactical. It's why I've been itching to use this ability. But in my last game I was the frontliner.
I'll prioritize Noggin and Priya next time. Maybe Lydia as well?

![]() |

Duly noted! It's interesting to see how movement is so useful!
It varies on situation and if the adventure is being done in theater of the mind (where the kinda fuzzy positioning makes it slightly less useful) or with actual battle maps (where it's incredibly useful) but yeah just from a positioning and action economy standpoint it can be a big deal (especially for faster characters where a half stride is still 15~20 feet).

Honestly even back in PF1e (and 3e/3.5e D&D by extension) free/swift action movement was a pretty big deal; for a martial or magus being able to move as a swift was almost as good as having pounce and basically allowed archers to fight as if they had pounce (since you could full attack or charge after).
That said, PF2e removing the ability to (IIRC) draw a weapon as part of a stride definitely adds a lot of value to free movement for just getting to a target (especially for two-handers where sometimes drawing a weapon takes two actions in weird scenarios (I.E. drawing it when you only have one hand available and then having to spend another to actually have both hands on it.))
As a 1 XP quest, we are pretty close to the end of this one! I could be convinced to run something else as a follow-on though :)
I'd certainly be up for it!

What does convincing look like beyond enthusiastic interest? :)

GM Brenael |

OK, sounds like there is enough interest for a follow-on game! I'm happy to take requests, but have the following bounties ready to go:
B05 - Witch's Winter Holiday
B09 - Fishing in Anthusis
B10 - Hillcross Roundup
or I could run the intro 99-1 Second Confirmation if we wanted something longer.

![]() |

Which ones are repeatable? I haven't done B05. B09 and B10 were completed with different characters.
I need to remember if I did 99-1 at all.

![]() |

I'm flexible and open to any of the above. If Bounty 5 is chosen this character has played it so I would switch characters but that's no matter.

![]() |

I'd love to try the second confirmation, but open to the bounties too if y'all don't want to do it again

GM Brenael |

We are almost done on this quest, so if you want me to include downtime on your CR please make the roll here. As a 1 XP quest, you get 2 days downtime.

![]() |

Spending 2 days on Earn Income
Lore: Academia (Trained, DC14): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Priya leverages the deep pool of knowledge granted to her by her long life - even if she still considers herself young by elf standards - to exchange knowledge of her homelands for knowledge of the Qadiran lands (as well as some travel money along the way.)

![]() |

Lore: Sailing: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Everyone wants to hear about the joys of sailing. Cirri tailors her lessons to river travel. There aren't too many lakes out here.

![]() |

Lore: Farming: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Noggin spends his downtime working as a farmhand... Although he spends most of his time stealing eggs and performing training montages, using farming equipment for training equipment.

![]() |

Earn income, task 0 (DC14 Pathfinder Society Lore): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 ⇒ Failed ⇒ 1cp / day ⇒ 2cp (oof)

![]() |

I forgot the -1 to all those attacks rolls because of frightened 1, and that unarmed strikes are non-lethal anyway... Gosh I'm rusty lol

GM Brenael |

Thank you, that was a lot of fun. Chronicle looks good. Have you decided what you will be running next?
Grallen, see your PMs about your chronicle.
It looks like 99-01 is the most popular choice. Anyone not want to play it?
It will take me a few days to prepare the game.
