Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Tibold wasn't paying attention when he grabbed the folded cloth near the door in the blazing room, but he quickly learned trying to smother fire with freshly cleaned silk drapes was not at all a smart move. When the fabric ignited quickly and scorched his hands, he cries out and panics trying to fling it away, but the heat catches it like a sail and blows it almost over the top of him. He manages to bat it away, but not before suffering some bad burns.
Takes 7 fire damage.

Brightberry |

Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Brightberry is beginning to feel better about this fire situation. He has kept himself safe and has been successful in putting the fire out. He has had nightmares about now being able to put fires out.
Just as soon these comforting thoughts fill his head, fire leaps about the room. Someone fed the flames!
"Ow!"

Lyra Featherstep |

As the flames leap up around her, Lyra cannot react quickly enough to avoid getting roasted. The heat and flames scorch her but she manages to finally help quell the fires.

Daily update
In an amazing display of teamwork, the four attack the fire from different angles. Edoom uses brute force to extinguish flames as the others attack the fire at the base, and soon the last room has no more fire. The smoke continues to fill the hallway, but all the fire is out in your vicinity.
The first door to the right abruptly slams open. The room's A18 on map plain stone walls and polished floors have already become stained with smoke. At the far end of the room, atop a stone dais, stands an armored statue of a half elf woman. One of her hands clutches a heavy shield and the other is clenched in a fist over her heart. The smoke is notably absent from this room.

Edoom |

"Come on. There is a suspicious looking statue here... but the smoke is cleared here. And close the door after you".
◆ Move

For some reason I don't see A18 on the map in the link above.

Lyra Featherstep |

"Milani? That's clearly the Inheritor. See how fierce she is?" Lyra enters the room carefully, looking around for anything else of note. If she doesn't see anything, she motions to the others to leave. "Lady Jamandi isn't here, so no sense standing around."
Lyra's Exploration Action in this room is Search, but if she spies nothing it will revert to Scout for moving down the hall.

Brightberry |

Everbloom? That sounds okay. Maybe all of their gods aren't selfish individuals.
Brightberry will also use Search for this room. When moving beyond, he will keep Guidance on Lyra for a +1 to her search.

Tibold Crenshaw |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Tibold carefully looks around the area.
"Didn't we see a similar statue in the Assassin Garden earlier?" He peers carefully at the elf woman figure. He scrunches his nose in thought. "You sure this ain't Iomedae? What race was she before she got godlified? I never really paid attention in Sunday School." Yup, it still would be 'Sunday School' in Golarion.
Tibols Searches while holding his reloaded crossbow ready to fire if more enemies appear.

The group searches the room.
Lyra notices the magical effects keeping the smoke out come from the statue. Encouraged by a calming effect from the statue, Lyra meditates a single minute and is refreshed. She encourages other to do so too.

Moving to the west and opening the door to the gallery, drifting coils of smoke waft in the air in this finely furnished room. Padded chairs and tables are set along the west wall and a thick burgundy carpet covers most of the floor. Oil paintings hang on the walls, and shelves are filled with statues and art curios.
The gnome Tartuccio is sprawled face down on the floor, dead still.

Brightberry |

Brightberry will meditate at the statue! Changing Redleaf's dailies as well.
"Oh, that was nice. Was this the Everbloom fellow?"
After moving west.
Looking at the gnome, "That's too bad.". He says as he walks by. Casting stabilize on him as he does so. "Just in case"

Edoom |

Edoom helps move the unconcious Tertuccio to one of the sofas in the room then urges the others onward. "Come let's check this door to the North".
Edoom first feels the door for warmth, listens, then opens if he detects nothing unusual.

Lyra Featherstep |

Lyra doesn't really cast a second glance at the fallen Turtuccio. This is a war, and people die. Didn't seem like a very friendly sort anyway.
When Edoom is ready to move out, she covers him with her bow, ready to shoot if anything menacing is waiting on the others side of the door.
With the night's rest effect, Lyra is at 14/20hp now.

Edoom bursts into the room. This large room contains several padded chairs, a comfortable looking pair of couches, several side tables and a finely crafted billiard table. On the couch bound and gagged is Jaethal, and two assassins and a what seems to be their boss are interrogating the dark humanoid.
They were distracted enough Lyra is able to use her finely tuned reflexes to get a jump on them, but the others are slower to act.

Edoom had move into the room with his shield raised, and as Lyra fired at the assassin hidden behind the billiard table her shots seemed to miss the mark as she was careful to miss Edoom. Further complicating matters, Edoom's quick defensive reaction caught her by surprise and her reactions for her follow up were slowed.
Jaethal makes a muffled sound from behind her gag as the assassins leap at their leader's command.

The leader fires a crossbow at Edoom and misses and moves closer and throws a dagger that strikes him. Edoom drops and begins to bleed.

Tibold calls through the doorway. "Totally depends on your aim here. We're not going to stand here and let you just kill us for the sake of that person. You want us to stop attacking you so you can escape? Cool, get the Abyss out of here then. Leave our Urgathoac friend there and beat it. If it's anything else, this ain't going to end until your dead, my guy, regardless of whatever you do."
Substituting Urgathoac for Gothic since I imagine that wouldn't be a word in Golarion vernacular. Tibold doesn't know Jaethal's religious leanings as he wasn't a part of that conversation, but I'm just extrapolating that Urgathoans may have a similar aesthetic to Goth, so it's more of a fashion comment rather than knowledge of her personally.
Tibold creeps over to the snoring gnome wizard and administers an Elixir of Life.
