Well looks like acid will eat the boards.
This chamber is done in the “deteriorated ornate” style.
The floor is tiled with golden colored marble and the wallsdepict the earthly life of Mitra.

Once Jim and Jhenn are done being dazed they can move on. The statues in the alcoves are of Mitra paladin.
Tucked in at the feet of the north facing statue is a box containing a scroll with a map of RM 1-39.

Jhenn |

The paladin finally comes to her senses and catches up with the group, ”What villain would dare foul this holy place.” She joins the dwarf in trying to clean the statues. As she does tears flow down her weary face.

Jhenn |

At the appearance of Mitra’s servant the paladin dropped to one knee and bowed her head in respect, ”As Mitra wills.” She humbly asks, ”Do you have any information that could speed us on our quest?”

brvheart |

A naga is in the center of the room and 30 mindless skeletons are
lining the walls.

brvheart |

"I'd suggest we concentrate on the Naga.
You do notice the skeletons are unaffected by your protection from evil aura.

brvheart |

Jhenn tightens her grip on her sword staring coldly at the creature.
Detect Evil
There is no evil in the room.

Jhenn |

”I detect no taint from this creature” She informed her companions. She addressed the naga, ”Tell us guardian, will you let us pass? We are servants of Mitra and seek to rid this place of the foulness that has corrupted it.”

"Slim" Jim |

Still feeling the after effects of the reek of death, Jim was uncharacteristically quiet. All this talk of guardians and Naga was beyond his ken. He trusted that Mithra's will would become apparent.

Faffnyr |

Faffnyr bows slightly and smiles to the naga.
"It seems you have a hand for decoration. As you are the guardian, what exactly do you guard?" he then coughs and adds.
"Manners, manners, manners. I am the humble Faffnyr, I am please to be in your presence.!"

brvheart |

"No evil may pass here. We guard the tomb of Mitra. Speak my name and you may pass."

Ciri Princess of Cintra |

A riddle, like the sphinx, "speak friend and enter, Melde'"!! Thoron, what did you find at the foot of that statue?
Ken Arcana, Guardian Naga, intelligent snake: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23

brvheart |

"I just felt real good and it seemed like a healing wave passed over me." Reminds me is anyone hurt or need help?
Did you forget this? - Tucked in at the feet of the north facing statue is a box containing a scroll with a map of RM 1-39.

brvheart |

My name.
Lol, that would have been good but no....

brvheart |

It lists the names and locations of the glyphs of
warding in RM 1-39. It is in the form of a map showing the
glyphs in their positions. In the center of the map it says
“OMPHALOS”. Map is in common.

"Slim" Jim |

"I took a hit or too, nothing major." replied Jim to Thoron.
Jim glanced at the one Ciri had named Omphalos. A curious impulse struck him and he asked, "I am the least of us, a simple man. I don't claim to be anything in particular although I expect to give my life in service of our crusade. May I pass?"

brvheart |

The Naga, seeing Jim injured, reached out and touches him
CSW: 3d8 + 9 ⇒ (6, 5, 1) + 9 = 21

The single secret door to the left is arcane locked, the main secret doors are locked.

Ciri Princess of Cintra |

Making a formal courtly introduction to Sir Ompholos, Guardian of Mithras Tomb
Sir Ompholos, I am Dutchess Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, Princess Royal, currently diposed Heir apparent of Cintra, Empress of Nilfgaard. I am a Student of the Arcane and a sword's woman.
Heiress of Ard Skellig and Inis An Skellig. Claimant of Brugge, Sodden, Suzerain of Attre and Abb Yarra.
The Lady of Time, Lady of the Lake, & Daughter of Destiny. Granddaughter of Queen Calanthe, descendant of Lara Dorren progenitor of The Elder Elf Royal family.
Daughter of Geralt Rivia and Yennefer Vengerberg, but my friends call me Ciri.
I travel on pilgrimage of sorts, gaining knowledge of the world in order to make alliance with others and adventure. I am but a humble pilgrim making my way in the world. I seek to visit the holy places here to gain understanding of how best to restore this tower and shrine, so the world will know what happened here, and not forget.
I would like to add that though our party members are but humble servants in performance of their duties, each has distinguished himself thus far, I trust Jim and Thoron with my life. I would remind Jim that he has earned a battlefield title of nobility, commissioned as as Lord Marshall of The Mitra's Fist and Adjunctant Lord General, Commander of Nilfgaard forces.
On to the double secret doors to the left, but they appear to be locked, can I get some help.

"Slim" Jim |

Jim tipped his hat for Ciri, and then to Sir Ompholos and he said "Thank you for your healing sir."
Then he carefully stepped through and looked around carefully without touching anything.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15 Dice bot disagrees about Jim looking around carefully!
I assume the way forward is through the secret door on the map to room 40?

At the north end is a reliquary of Mitra. The south wall of the room is covered by a massive, solid gold throne with holy symbols carved all over
it. Any character less than ten hit dice must make a Will save
(DC 15) or be subject to a suggestion spell, delivered
mentally, that they wander aimlessly back into room 1-39,
closing the door on the way out, forgetting the existence of
room 1-40, and that they refuse to see any secret doors into
the room at any time.

A heroic elder man (Mitra) appears as you approach the throne, which resembles an older version of the man depicted by the statues outside.
He will appear sitting on the throne.
Do you wish to make an offering?

Jhenn |

Will save DC 15: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28
Jhenn cautiously watches with awe as the elderly Mitra appears. Right behind Ciri she drops to her knees and offers, ”All, I have.”
