The Unkillable Zombie is a variant type of zombie. The normal zombie shambler has weakness to slashing damage. The unkillable variant loses this weakness and gains resistance to all damage types. So, they're just a little harder to kill is all. Furthermore, Waedin recalls they are weak against critical hits.

The undead creature falls, again, before it can be of any threat.

Although it was easily defeated, the fact that onenof the kobolds rose again as a zombie should be of some concern.

Disturbed by the presence of an undead kobold is disturbing enough that the party considers building a mass funeral pyre underground.
With no ventilation.
But, thank goodness, they are called away by the commotion to the north. Waedin leads the way, stomping loudly in her newly cleaned and polished dwarven full plate.
At the end of a long hallway, hey emerge into what appears to be a messhall. And what a mess it is. Three large stone tables take up most of the middle of the hall, their long benches lie overturned and askew. The bodies of three dead kobolds lie in spreading pools of blood on the floor, impaled and bludgeoned with various kitchen implements. Five other kobolds cower behind the tables and benches, their eyes fixed on a barricade of boxes and barrels in the southwest corner of the room. One of the kobolds, a white-scaled one decked in leather armor and a set of keys dangling from his belt, seems to be shouting orders at the others, who seem to be hesitant to follow command.
From around the corner, behind the barricade, you hear a hoarse and raspy voice shouting, "Don't you come any closer lizard brains or you'll get a fork in the face!"
With all the commotion, the kobolds are distracted from your presence.

The stack of barrels and boxes shifts and out steps a rather bedraggled male halfling. He looks malnourished, beaten, and exhausted. He wears a once debonaire, brocaded, green velevet doublet and silk trousers that are now torn and stained with blood and grime. A splintered lute hangs from a strap on his shoulder.
He stumbles out from his barricade and blinks wearily at you all, "The name's Edgrin Galesong, again, and thanks. I was sure it was the end for me. I was able to take a few of them out with my magics, but I've pretty much exhausted myself. Here, this is all I have left."

We were booked at The Rouge Lady, but on our way out of town we were ambushed by these kobolds. When their king sacrificed Tyran before my very eyes, I had to survive, so I began entertaining the kobolds with my song. I guess ol' Merlokrep appreciated me enough he staved off my execution. I don't know how long I've been down in their dungeon, but two others were brought down in the meantime, a hunter named Barlus, and a butcher named Colbrin. Then, just earlier this morning, there was a bunch of hubbub amongst the scalies about their chief scout Kerrdremak abandoning ship, and with all the confusion, the three of us decided to make a break for it. But that one," he points to the dead white-scaled kobold, "He's the jailor, Ygrik, he gave us chase. I think they caught Colbrin, and Barlus I think was right behind me before I turned the corner and ended up cornered in this room. Well, and I guess that's just about when you all showed up.
