Kat keeps up the pressure, wordlessly and systematically switching targets and banging shots off at the remaining monster.

After scoring another deadly blow on the creature, Kat begins celebrating. Immediately after her shots she throws a fist in the air triumphantly before turning to the crowd, waving her arms as if to bring up the volume of the cheering.

Once the post-match interviews are done, the lights in the Zo!Dome gradually dim. Wazasha comes out to greet you and a host of Zo! Media crew come out to begin cleaning the mess of the combat. Wazasha wants little more to do with you and thanks you all for your time before heading off and consulting her datapad for her next assignment. Before leaving, she provides you with an automated vehicle that takes you to a shuttle bound back for Absalom Station.

Cavaler, removes his helmet and gestures to the crowd. His perfect facial features are still intact, but he looks exhausted.

"Let's go home Starfinders, I think we've had enough of Zo! and his machinations."

He begins walking slowly toward the vehicle that will take them to their shuttle.

"Gunnz, give me a hand here with my gear. I suppose crest eaters aren't interested in eating humans."

"Sure can big guy." grins Gunnz.

"You were totally DRIFT!"

At the Lorespire Complex, Venture-Captain Naiaj receives your report with interest, but she’s already watched the footage and knows the results of the competition. From here she asks you all if you’d be willing to go on another episode of Live Adventure Extreme! if it were to happen. Beyond that, Naiaj thanks you for your efforts, indicating that the funds secured by the mission are vital to the Society’s ongoing exploration of the wider galaxy.

The only good part of it was having allies holding the line as well. Turning to Gunnz, Kat, and Cavaler she says. Meeting you was a good thing, even if nothing else was. And Gunnz - your piloting really does live up to your boasting. I admit I did not predict that.

"Ahh" says a smiling Gunnz.

"The Pegasus is a ship of beauty. Flying her is almost as good as dancing? And you know what makes for a DRIFT team building experience? Dancing! We should all hit the floor to unwind."

As the lights go out and they are unceremoniously whisked away without any acknowledgement from the production staff, Kat can't help but be left feeling a little used. She takes stock of the hours ahead of her repairing servos, sealing leaks and mending her torn and burned semi-synthetic skin. She keeps to herself on the return trip, staring out into space with her music playing in her own ears to comfort her.

"I agree. We were barbarians engaging in blood sport for the masses. We were hardly given any second thought once we were no longer useful. Now don't get me wrong - I have done worse for fame and fortune. But I see now why I was called back. Good PR is a small comfort."

"Otherwise, it was great meeting and working with you all. We made a great team and you all really rallied me again for the final battle.... tell you what, round of stims, on me!"

"I hope the funds are put to good use because the experience of being a gladiator was not an enjoyable one. However, I am proud of the team's performance and can report that even though it was my first mission working with Gunnz, Mizix, and Kat5e they all proved why they are elite Starfinders."

The PCs complete their primary objective if they compete in the two stadium matches and the starship combat. Doing so earns each PC 1 Fame and 1 Reputation for their selected faction. If the PCs emerge victorious in all of their fights, they each earn one additional 1 Fame and 1 Reputation for their selected faction. So that's +1xp, +2 fame and +2 Rep for your Faction.
