The cut is clean, but the fey's hide proves somewhat resistant. While such a blow would have instantly cut down the mite slaves encountered earlier, this "pest" handily remains in the fight.

The building contains cages. It is clean with new doors and locks, The windows in the buildings with cages are all bricked over. All of the cages are locked with simple locks (Disable Device DC 15) and each one contains 10 or so Cassomiri citizens.

If you pick the door with marked with the word GO in big green letters on the map:
You find it is unlocked.
Put yourselves in marching order before you enter.

If you pick any other doors:
You find it each door unlocked. Each building is abandoned with boarded-up windows. The interior of ecah is full of spiderwebs, dust, broken furniture, broken glassware, and the like.

If permitted, Merida also tries to wrench the chest open with the crowbar. However, as she knows she is not as strong as Theron, she tries to analyze the problem first.

Clever thinking! Unfortunately, determining a structure’s weakness is a DC 20 task.

The PCs may take 20 to open the chest, but that will require the party to spend 2 minutes, which might impact spell duration. The party has only spent a round or two "searching" since combat ended".

Nightkit leaves the more magically inclined to identify stuff. Instead she heads towards the door with the big green GO on it. Discovering it is unlocked, she first checks for traps and, if none are found, cautiously opens it a crack and peeks inside.
