It takes several long minutes to to make sure everyone gets patched up, especially with Toadclobbers goblin techniques of sealing bleeding wounds with melted crayons.
Still in a bit of shock over your newfound powers you press onward into the tomb. Several stone coffins lie along the length of this large chamber. Each coffin appears ancient but bears carvings and decorations that remain relatively intact. A set of doors in the northern and southern walls lead out of the room. Larger doors allow passage to east and west.

Aegis motions others to move forward. He first takes some time to look around for anything of note, either to help them in the exploration, or to give insight into the curse. If nothing stands out after his Investigation, he moves to the first door on the left.

Aegis finds little of note in the room though the door to the far end. East. seems to shimmer as a magical shield of force blocks the path forward as it prevents contact with the door.
Peeking into the door to the north Aegis finds a library. Several large stone tables stand in this room, each spaced evenly. Shelves built into the wall hold hundreds of books, several of which lie open on the central tables. Doors in the southwestern and southeastern part of the wall lead in and out of this room.
Two monk warriors stand within the room talking in hushed but frantic tones. A small portal opens in her hand as freezing artic winds copletely cover one of the books in ice. The second monks body begins to fracture and break apart like a broken mirror as smoke and ash roil from within his body. "This isn't good Ximena. Look at me. I am a freak." His body breaks apart more in anger as he grows more and more hostile."[/b] As you enter the room the pair turn a bit disoriented from their new abilities and spring to attack.

Aegis sends the inkpot into the monk, bruising her shoulder. Injured the monk raises her hand to protect herself and as she does so a burst of artic air jets out through the portal created by her own newfound ability back at Aegis.

"Not besides your way ahead has been warded with a powerful spell." She pulls a small chained necklace with a rune-shaped looking key from around her neck and holds it out. "This will unlock the ward, though you will need the second key from the monks in the room to the south" She holds it out with her good hand as the other one seems peranently disabled from the powerful magic she succumbed to.

This plain chamber contains multiple beds along the southern wall. Two separate doors in the northern wall allow access to the room beyond.
A pair of monks were resting in this room when their own awakened powers manifested, astral projectioning in them far away. Unfortunately, their ability was too potent and their spirits are currently lost somewhere deep in the Antarkos Ocean, safe but unable to find their way back. While their bodies are alive, they are comatose and will remain so as long as they have their ability.

Toad looks in his coloring book to reference the DOKtER chapter, which is full of scribbled spleens, gory hearts, squiggly guts, and noodly brains. Well, hopefully, that's what they are. Hard to tell.

"OK Tenpot." Dr. Toad inspects the sleeping monks while cross-referencing the pictures in his coloring book, hoping to learn more.

Toadclobber determine's that the monk's bodies seem to be living and intact but their minds seem to be elsewhere as they reside in a comatose state.
Touching the pair of foci to the shield of force blocking the way forward it begins to slowly fizzle and dissipate allowing you to open the door.
This large hallway connects to other chambers in the area. The eastern hall has collapsed and is blocked by rubble.
There is a path south or two of you can spend 4 hours to clear the rubble, leaving you fatigued.

Toadclobber recognizes undead when he sees them and quickly attunes his weapon to have trace amounts of positive energy. Exploit Vunerability Success, Weakness Positive 5.
Toadclobber slashes his toadslicer across the undead, it seems quite effective as it the taut, burning skin splits apart with ease. Along with being Weak to Positive 5 it is also weak to slashing 5.

Tenpot follows suit and blasts a hole in the side of the undead's jaw, splitting it off from the body. Exploit Vulnerability Success and crit on the hit.
