Lendtech restores normal gravity in the chamber.
Checking the cameras, it appears the creature is near the center of the far room, pushing buttons at random.

Little smiles to himself and leaves the console. He follows Tuek into the next room, appsing the ysoki he says, "It should be down there. I'll cut off its escape. " He points down a hallway toward C2 .
At the corner he looks around, sees the creature, and then pulls back. "Eyes on it. What's the plan, Starfinders?"

The creature looks up at Darkvoid briefly before deciding that the console is more interesting. It is not taking any hostile action, but who knows how long it will be before it breaks something else.
It's up to you how you want to engage it. If you want to fight, I can roll initiative. Otherwise, let me know how you are approaching.

The creature watches Darkvoid perform a set of acrobatic tricks, one right after the other, while Tuek sneaks up on it, clearly unnoticed.

Tuek tries to sneak up on the creature.

Then, once close enough, he tries to catch the creature.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20

While Dirk and Mazirek keep watch, Tuek comes up behind and grabs it. It lets out a yelp, much highher-pitched than you would expect. The children come rushing in, and rub the creature on its head. While it is definitely not suitable for the engineering section of a ship, it seems docile enough.
The group reports back to Fitch. Fitch turns the alien over to an assembled team of experts in hopes of learning more of the alien’s language and culture. The ratfolk is satisfied and pats you on the back for a job well done.
Kieu Kein rewards you, who rescued his children, with a mk 1 ring of resistance. Fitch gives you a credstick with 400 credits on it. The Wayfinders’ leader thanks you for your diligence, but is quick to get back to work on repairing the ship.
Once all four faction leaders report to Guidance, the Society intelligence summons you back to the Lorespire Complex. The intelligence once again presents itself in a holographic form—this time taking on the appearance of a wizened male korasha lashunta—to congratulate you on your successful missions. It goes on to state that in the aftermath of the Drift Crisis incident, the Society needs skilled agents more than ever, and that it sees potential in you as you start your new careers as Starfinder field agents.
