Selena tries again but still does not succeed.
I'm assuming none of you are moving from how you're positioned on the map (except for Selena, since she'll need to be right beside it to deface it! :)

As long as you don't trigger the haunt, we don't need to go into initiative. Of course, how the haunt is triggered -- you get to find out when it gets triggered... :)

"Careful in there Selena!" Lioness calls.
He doesn't go in to help her but does try to get rid of the Haunt before it can hurt her.
Occultism: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Lioness manages to further weaken the haunt's connection to the amulet.
3/5 successes
2 successes or 1 crit will do it

Eddie remains confused and in deep conversation with Toady, who also whispers some useful info to the others.
Guess all I can really do here is offer up 1 guidance per character. Please with your next attempt include Toady's guidance, +1 to the roll.

Graeyson moves up to the mural to help Selena. Though for some reason the graffiti he put on the mural barely manages to stick.
4/5 successes
You're almost there! One more success

Treble tries once more to sever the connection to the amulet.
Occultism: 1d20 + 5 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 5 - 1 + 1 = 11

Treble attempts to sever the connection to the amulet but is not successful this time.

Eddie whispers Toady's advice in Treble's ear but it does help much. Instead they try to give Lioness some guidance, as well as Graeyson and Selena.
Eddie doesn't have any of the required skills trained so its out his their hands. +1 guidance for one roll per player though!

"Pernicious thing, isn't it? This...last...tendril...is really...stuck...in!" Lioness says as he tries to sever the final thread holding the thing on.
Occultism plus Guidance: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 1 = 11
I'll Hero Point that.
Occultism plus Guidance: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 1 = 18

Sorry if Martin won't be of much help here. He's neither trained in those skills nor does he have any mechanic that could help others.
Martin watches his companions disable the haunt though he has no idea what is going on right now.

Occultism: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 5 - 1 = 13
"Why don't we just run through? We don't need to just keep standing here if we can't disperse the haunt." Treble asks.

Crafting: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Selena tries again to deface the mural, but it seems whatever is on the wall is harder to remove now.

You can certainly attempt to leg it, though it would trigger the haunt. Since you need 1 success, the DC is 21 for Crafting and Occultism, and 20 for Religion

"Some things take time. Keep trying friends." Eddie keeps some berries at the ready if things get violent.

”Selena walked right up to it to deface the wall. My guess is that it will only react to the amulet. The rest of you are free to get to safety.”
Occultism: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 5 - 1 = 23

Treble finally succeeds in severing the link between the amulet and the temple. All you need to now is return to Eando Kline and report.
After hearing your report, Kline offers you the opportunity to join them and the other faction leaders for dinner at the base camp. Over the course of a hearty meal (prepared by Gorm Greathammer), you get a chance to share their findings, impressing the leaders if you were successful. The leaders thank you and make it clear the work they have done will make it possible for more thorough explorations in the future. Word of your mission eventually reaches the ears of the leaders of the Society’s two minor factions, the Radiant Oath and the Verdant Wheel, who plan their own missions based around these ruins.
End of Scenario
Thanks for playing all!

"Oh yes, Treble was the quickest and bravest, taking up the cursed amulet so the rest of us could keep our caps on straight." Eddie helped recall the events of the day, between mouthfuls of rotten swamp grasses and indistinguishable pieces of decayed bark. At least the food was cool, just like they preferred.
"And this painting on the wall... I still don't understand how it worked, but luckily everyone else did. It could have been a problem if ignored..." They tip their fine mini pirate hat in Eando's direction.
