Looking forward to playing with all of you again. As stated in the other thread, I won't be able to post until Wednesday, but you can all chat in the briefing room for this mission.

I'm going to go with Stell Z-lin. Feel free to look over her character sheet and assume she'll share anything on her background or her abilities with anyone who asks.

Paizo wouldn't let me log in from home last night. Was able to get in from work yesterday and today. I'll try again tonight.

What level should we all be at? I noticed some are 2nd, and some are 1st.

Mostly level 1. Some of the incoming characters are level 2.

I could replace Stell with a first level if that is required. It would be an inexperienced Technomancer or Mystic. Most SFS games I've played in only require PCs be relatively similar, so I assumed a 2nd level would not be a problem with a group of 1st levels.

Sorry I've been out of touch. WOrk is kicking my butt. -- and getting ready for a vacation next week. Fortunately we're visiting my son so I should have internet but will have to work around family activities.

I'll do my best to post but not promises for a little over a week.

Clebsch, FYI, to speed combat up, we use block initiative, not a firm initiative order. Stell-Z can go before or after anyone in her block (the characters highlighted in bold), basically whenever you can post. There is no need to wait unless you want to.

I understand that, although I prefer to post in order when I can. At the moment, I'm dealing with work on the weekend, which happens to me about every five weeks due to the teaching schedule where I work.

Now that you say it, I believe that you did mention that earlier. I'll try to keep it in mind, but the memory of an old troglodyte like me is an unsteady thing. Don't be surprised if I need further reminders, or shy about issuing them.

I hope some set of pronouns become standard so that we can use singular pronouns that don't have to assume a particular sex or sexual orientation. I used to teach English composition back when I was in grad school and I've always found it problematic to have to use "he or she," or "his or her" when referring to individuals who may be male or female. Using the plural pronouns for singular individuals creates confusion and can lead to ambiguity of meaning.

I certainly agree with your assessment of using the plural pronouns.

Anyway, apologies for dropping off the face of the earth. A couple big things happened this week that I thought I could handle. I was wrong.

1. Travel for a long term job in SoCal. Lot's of prep and trying to finish things at home before I left. And work dropped a last second job on me a couple days before I left.
2. Doing the long term job -- hours have been short, but I've had a lot of other activities. Trouble with my rental car, trying to learn a new software and piece of equipment, still trying to finish up that last second job.

Unfortunately this apology doesn't mean I'll resume posting tonight. It's just an update. I am hoping to resume posting in the middle of next week.

I've been busy with work and following developments in the Jan. 6 committee and the Supreme Court. It's been a heavy week.

On the plus side, I'm on vacation for the next week, so I'll have plenty of time to post.

I'm also sorry, I was obviously not active enough this week (or rather, even since last Friday) - preparing for the trip plus the start of a new business project took more time and effort in total than I expected. So guys, we're coming up on the end of this scenario and I still owe you Chronicles for Salvation's End. But it might work out. I'll try to get those out tonight.

Meantime we have to think about our next scenario. 2-3 was pretty good and it's a repeatable scenario. I am open to suggestions.
