Synopsis:
This is a game where you have died, yes that is right, you! Just as you read this post is what you bring with you. Most of you won't have much. Create your base character on yourself. The gods have decided for one reason or another to give you another chance. This chance is to start anew as you are with a special ability in a mystical world of monsters and adventure.

Looking for:
Looking for four to five players to join this reboot sandbox heavy magical influence homebrew game. I am sure there will be many questions let me see about condensing those answers together...

Character Generation:
As yourself with several paragraphs to describe your life up until now and why you have your ability scores. Thus gaining you bonuses based on your background.
Or: roll [dice]3d6[dice] 7 times, the seventh roll may replace any of the earlier rolls. Create a background for your character as they were in our world before dying. The rolled stats may be moved around to best fit your character.
1st level - You will be coming in with all your meta knowledge and the knowledge of your class.

Everyone starts with one special ability. This ability will give your class a focus and other minor abilities. So if you picked Ice, you may want to be able to cast cone of cold at 10th level once per day. You likely would become resistant to cold, gain the ability to slide naturally on ice, or the ability to create water.
Suggestions: Regeneration, Lightning, Fire, Acid, Cure, Inflict, Draconic, Fey, Angelic, Beast.

Next you get a wish that is strictly for your benefit. There is no downsides to what you wish for. It can be anything: to change your race, an item, another super ability, to enhance a minor ability to major, or even summon a being to be your partner.
Suggestions: Be a half dragon, be an ogre, a legendary sword, a legendary bow, a belt of mighty health, a familiar, a mysterious stranger to come to your aid, to be able to cast cure serious wounds 3/day.
*The more powerful the ability the higher chance that you will gain a curse with it or it will be more quirky, thus if you ask for the legendary sword excalibur you would get it with some small adjustments like it being intelligent and having its own purpose. If you just asked for a magical sword with a property of vorpral on it there is a smaller chance of a curse attached, lastly would be a +1 Keen Weapon that would have no curses. Again ask questions think of different options and power levels, we can talk about what is overpowered, which is not much.

Everyone will start as human obviously but their will be quests and shops that will let you change your race in game. Most classes will be accepted, no occult classes please. Also eventually you can have more powerful race choices but it will cost you some wealth or wishes.

2 traits. Background skills and feat tax adjustments are encouraged. If you have any questions please ask.

Starting gear: What did you have with you when you died and honestly based off your life a normal day what would you have? Typically I have my keys, wallet, phone, ipad, snacks, pens, misc. medicine and a carry bag to hold the last two. You also might have just went to the convenience store and bought a meal and perhaps a few other items.

-----

We're looking for ROLE-PLAYERS! And this campaign can help you scratch that meta itch!

-----
As this should be a rather quick way to make characters I am looking into starting on Monday the 14th and keeping recruitment open for another week should anyone need it.

Well, damn, I already gots the profile right now!

If it's the items we have on us when we read this, then I've got a backpack, laptop and charger (for what they're worth) a first aid kit, deodrant, air freshener (febreeze cinnamon apple - I work in a hotel right now), sewing kit, keys, phone and a pocketknife.

I think I'll apply as an achaeologist bard because, well, I am an archaeologist. I mean, it seems logical.

3d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 2) = 9
3d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 5) = 13
3d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5) = 13
3d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 5) = 14
3d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 1) = 4
3d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2) = 8
3d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 6) = 10

Wow, 7 point buy!? Welp, that seems about right, really.

Sounds good JonGarrett. Don't worry about being underpowered. I have plans on building up your base stats! Lots of quests, you just got to interact with people!

The more I see about your background, the more you might gain additional bonuses.

The Life and Times of Joe Zaidel:
Joe Zaidel was born in Spectrum Hospital at 3:14pm, Tuesday November 6th, 1973 to Barbara and Darryl Zaidel. Joe, or Joseph on his birth certificate, was to be the eldest of two boys before both parents divorced in 1977. Darryl got remarried to Joe's babysitter in 1978, and had another son, Kevin. Joey and Michael, his younger brother, would often visit his father and stepmother on the weekends. Joey was raised mostly by his mother, who raised the family as irish-catholics, going to church every Sunday at St. James Church on Bridge street. Growing up, Joey had many rough nights sleeping, being afraid of the dark up until his early teens. Joey excelled in early education, skipping preschool to go right into 1st grade. Joe was always a big kid, being born nearly ten pounds at birth. the boy inherited his father's side broad shoulders and his mother's side height. Like many children 'of the 80s', Joey loved watching cartoons like He-man, Thundercats, G.I.Joe and Dungeons and Dragons among others. In grade school, Joe had many friends but none of them were close.

Going from grade school to middle school was a dramatic change. No longer considered 'cool' enough to hang out with, his grade school friends deserted and mocked him. With no playground to occupy his free time, Joe just stood around like the rest of his peers. During this time, Joe was near-constantly mocked, by girls who rejected his clumsy advances to the boys who would jump on any perceived weakness from 'the gentle giant', who was raised not to settle arguments with violence. This lasted until his junior year where, in a fit of pent-up rage nearly beat his school bully, Keith Quarry, within an inch of his life. After spending a week in juvie, no one taunted Joe Zaidel again; they just avoided him. Despite this, Joe found a true best friend in Nolan Butterfield; a thin, black kid who shared many of his interests. Of the two, Nolan was the ladies man, often dating cheerleaders, while Joe lived vicariously through his best friend.

Union High School, where Joe finished his education, did little to prepare the young man for the real world. Life was tough growing up. Both mother and father couldn't save any money for education, so the day after Joe's graduation, he had no idea what to do next. So Joe worked many odds jobs throughout his 20s. Fast food into retail, Joe quickly reacquired his confidence that was beat out of him in middle and high school to have a great report with customers. And with confidence came dates with women in his late 20s, eventually marrying his best friend from work, Cyndy, before Joe turned 30.

During his twenties, Joe underwent a spiritual awakening. Discussing some of his frightful nights as a kid with a beloved aunt, both discovered a lot of what the scared little boy saw was real, to him at least. His aunt, Sandy recommended several books on mediation and developing inner sight. Joe read and practiced voraciously, becoming a student of new age beliefs, learning about chakra points, astral projection, dream control, crystal work, among others. Throughout his married and unmarried life, Joe loved science fiction and fantasy, particularly Dungeons and Dragons, in which one of his favorite cartoons was based on. Whenever in gaming group, Joe loved to play heroic types: clerics, fighters, wizards, with paladins being his favorite class.

In regards to his marriage, Joe was determined not to make the same mistakes as his father and worked everyday on it, strengthening his bond with Cyndy every chance he got. Joe and Cyndy never had kids, though. Cyndy ultimately revealed she was afraid of hurting the children like her early attempts to discipline her dogs at time which led to their early deaths. Despite Joe's wish to have children, the marriage continued to grow stronger, despite this black mark on it.

Joe and Cyndy eventually moved upstate to Ludington, a small tourist town near Lake Michigan, to take care of his ailing mother-in-law, who loved her son-in-law. After she died, Phyllis, Cyndy's mother, left her house to them. After living in the big city of Grand Rapids all his life, Joe enjoyed the peace and quiet of Ludington. He met new gaming buddies, who introduced Joe to Pathfinder and World of Warcraft where Joe's main was his human paladin. Joe found a good job working as a third shift auditor at a major hotel chain in town, where he often plays Pathfinder on the paizo forums with people from around the world.

Joe's, like everyone else's, life was flipped upside down when Covid-19 or the Corona Virus made it's way around the world. The night auditor was fired for complaints from guests of the hotel, because Joe demanded they wear masks in the public spaces. Joe Zaidel, the more outgoing personality compared to his wife, would often do any outside chores, like shopping and paying bills; while Cyndy, being rather agoraphobic, became for withdrawn and paranoid. Washing hands, wiping down items brought from outside the home, wearing masks, did more to validate Cyndy's viewpoint and put real stress on the marriage. As the old house slowly kept falling apart, more of the couple's nest egg was depleted, which also put additional strains on the marriage. Joe found work in the local hospital: taking and delivering meal orders to patients, and was generally well respected for his teamwork and can-do attitude.

One day at work, Joe was delivering several meal trays to patients in the ER, where some aggressive, mentally unstable people were being held for living arrangements elsewhere. While in the ER, one of these aggressive patients got out of control and found a hard, pointy object to uses as a weapon. Joe did not even think about rushing in to help subdue the crazed patient, despite not being a security officer; just a big guy in his late 40s. During the scuffle, Joe was stabbed in the neck, where he quickly bled out, after the aggressive patient was subdued. After several hours in emergency surgery, the shock of the blood loss to his system, his own years-long heart problems, and being overweight was too much for Joe Zaidel. As he floated up above the surgery table, Joe had some regrets, but was overall happy with his life.

What would you be if you were isekai-ed into a Pathfinder world? I've answered this question a few times on reddit. A cleric of Cayden Cailean, because I believe in 'playing the long game'. Out of all the Faiths of Golarion, Cayden Cailean's is the easiest to follow. So easy they put his tenants, such as they are, on a small wooden placard to be carried along with you. Follow these simple rules and when you die, you go to Elysium. To Cayden Cailean's Realm. Where you can drink, and f#ck, and feast, and f#ck, and fight, and f#ck to your hearts content forever!! Be a holy warrior of your god, and flirt as much as any bard. Make friends and lovers with ease! Bless bars and taverns! Assist the hungover, the poor, and the enslaved and BE A HERO!!

Long game, my friends. Long. Game.

life's story:
Otto Canzone was born early on February 1st 2001 in Saint Paul MN the younger of 2 children born to Franz and Patricia Canzone, he had an elder sister named Jasper. Early of he took a liking to science math and engineering, starting in grade school and middle he was reasonably active in sports playing football basketball and baseball though he never really dedicated himself to any of them.

That would go on to be a theme for much of his early and mid childhood and to an extent up until he died, he never quite could find what he really wanted to do. in middle school Otto transfered to an inner city school called Farnsworth, it was the aerospace magnet for the city and he was currently latched onto aerospace engineering as a possible path, though at the school Otto had an overall poor time, he didn't fit in and started to develop poor coping habits to deal with his seeming social isolation of which the one that would do the most long term damage to him was hiding his emotion so deep that he usually couldn't even tell what he was feeling.

In his time at Farnsworth Otto found comfort from 3 main sources, history, a new love of music and a newfound passion for nerd culture, initially manifesting through Magic: The Gathering and then Dungeons and Dragons. His other new love of music manifested in much the same way as was typical for him, an eclectic mix of things, in school he joined band and played all four primary varieties of saxophone, tuba, trumpet, flute, french horn, basson, percussion, and clarinet, outside he was in child's played bass guitar in a band and took lessons on drums.

As he finished out middle school he ventured to a smaller high school just outside of Saint Paul called South Saint Paul Secondary, there things initially started out in a similar way as they had been but with Otto finding a few more peers that would become friends. eventually though in his fist year at South Saint Paul he fell out of step with the sports people at the school and decided to look to others, he immursed himself in activities by his freshman year he was in 3 bands, 2 chiors knowledge bowl, debate, speech, math team, and active in theatre which he would quickly find out would be his next and longest passion.

Until 10 grade things continued like that with Otto excelling in academics and spending his evenings at school doing activities until 10 o'clock. In 10 grade Otto would do early college enrollment shifting his full days schedule to the local community college and spending his nights still at the high school doing the same activities. Theatre would stand out above the rest as what he did most and liked most. Due to this early enrollment Otto would graduate with his associates degree at the same time as he graduated from high school. He then would continue on to a 4 year University in Grand Forks North Dakota called the University of North Dakota

There he initially would double major in social studies education and music education with minors in theatre philosophy English math and middle school education. In his second semester he would swap the music degree out for a BFA in musical theatre performance, initially at college he again struggled to find a group of friends but in his second semester he got closer with the theatre group and started to feel settled! Then this wild thing called a pandemic napped. As everyone was shunted home Otto stated writing plays and became interested in playwriting which he would pursue with a writing group the next year and have a script he cowrote preformed by the college. He still maintained little social life for a while as he learned how to balance the 21-24 credits he was taking a semester to keep up with all his programs but he now had a group to struggle through it with!

And that was super sad. But I can drop the 4. :P

So with these stats I see myself as a kid that is not well liked in high school. Probably with lots of acne. I possibly had a debilitating disease as a child as well, although modern science saved me from dying.

I think it's probably fair to take these dice in order.

Life Story:
Bill was born the youngest child of Vietnamese refugees now living in San Francisco after fleeing persecution in their home country. Both he and his mother were in poor health from his birth. A fortune-teller told his mother that for his safety, Bill should be told that he was adopted, even though he lived with his biological parents. So they did that. Bill and his mom survived, so maybe it worked?

Bill was poor but didn't realize it. His father worked as a laborer at a printing press, his mother stayed at home and cared for him and his three older sisters. His family was eventually able to move out of the crime-ridden Tenderloin to the quiet Richmond District, where he had a perfectly ordinary upbringing attending public schools as a nerd with absurdly-thick glasses. He was smart but quite shy and completely incompetent at interacting with girls. He was a surprisingly fast sprinter who was on the track team, but also an asthmatic with pestering allergies and associated poor health. One of his sisters was eventually fed up with the weird adoption lie and told Bill that he was living with his true parents. The revelation immediately felt true and made him happier.

Bill attended college at a liberal public university close to home. He was supposed to study engineering, but became fond of physics instead, a far less useful field of endeavor. He became best friends with a guy who turned out to be in love with him, which was awkward but eventually resolved into a strong platonic friendship. He found a thrilling but fleeting romance during two months aboard a cruise ship that sailed around the Pacific Rim.

After graduation, Bill found a job working for the Department of Energy, which unfortunately meant living in the other side of the country and trying to make new friends, which was not his strong suit. He became a singer of renaissance carols and player of board games and role-playing games. He also played World of Warcraft--initially with real-life friends, but eventually in an obsessive, unhealthy way. He grew bored of his job, homesick, and basically wanting a change, so he applied to a bunch of law schools, generally expecting to return to California.

Instead, he found himself driving north to Boston and delving deeper into World of Warcraft to escape the isolation and miserable winter. In his second year of law school, he made plans to spend his third and final year in California. But that year, he became friends with a fellow law student who was also nerdy, studied engineering, and liked board games. She happened to have a summer internship in San Francisco and really needed someone to help drive her to the grocery store. Romance blossomed and Bill scrapped his California plans and returned to Boston. At the end of law school, Bill proposed and Helen accepted.

Bill and Helen became intellectual property lawyers and bounced around between Silicon Valley and Washington DC before settling back in San Francisco. Bill occasionally worked on death penalty cases to make up for his otherwise very corporate existence. They got three dogs together before taking the leap to have a child--a boy born two months premature but with no obvious long-term problems. Bill and Helen adore him.

Bill was having another ordinary day, but during his commute to work, couldn't resist pulling up Wordle and guessing the word of the day while at a stoplight. The word was tricky, what could it be? Bill saw the car next to him pulling forward and realized he needed to move too, so he accelerated. What he didn't realize was that he had a red light--only the turn lanes were allowed to go. He sped in the path of a turning car that crashed right into him. He died immediately.

Special ability: Fortunetelling
Wish: Owl's Wings
Traits: Mediator, Irrepressible
Gear: Wallet (with cash and credit cards), Keys, Cell Phone, Jacket, Collared Shirt, Jeans, Socks, Sneakers, Surgical Mask

I have no real character plan, and am curious where this will go.

Oooh!! This sounds hella fun!!

Some questions:

Are starting stats capped at all based on our IRL background/life/personality? My Charisma would be rather high(20+) for example.

For starting gear, should we base it on typical day? or one where we are out on an 'adventure'(ie, a trip to comic con, weekend at a friend/close relative's house, etc)?

Finally, what is an acceptable bribe so I can play in this? lol

I'm thinking for my wish I'd like to grab the Giantblooded Creature template with the Ash Giant as my species. Wishing to be bigger, stronger, faster and immune to disease is absolutely something I would do.

For special abilities, I think I'll continue with the 'smoke and ash' theme. Perhaps the Greater Fire Totem ability when using Archaeologist's Luck?

Any issues with any of that?

Giant Bloodied sounds awesome! As an ash giant descendent you would become large as well as the other bonuses. You might want to read about ash giants to understand why they are immune to disease... still your choice.

The Greater Fire Totem cloud of smoke would come in handy!

Starting gear can be at any of those options Monkeygod. Though most of us will be coming in with basic items we carry around everyday. Maybe some food or something we just bought at a store. I leave it up to you. Nearly all of it will be worthless in a weeks time in your new world.

Starting stats: roll 6 sets of 3d6. You can move them around to match them to your IRL stats. You can decrease a stat for a bonus. Though having an 18 in any stat is nearly impossible for an average human. :)

The first necessity is building a character bribes can come later! XD

The 'or' confused me. Seems as if you could pick one of the options.

It also sounds like you would gain bonuses to your starting stats based on your IRL background.

I had zero clue when I wrote my wish but apparently there’s a playable race called a syrinx that’s an owl-like humanoid. I think that could work for wish fulfillment of “owl wings”. An alternative is to be a Giant Owl, but that may be too difficult to balance.

I’m going to suggest an Infernal Binder wizard as my class. Or maybe a cleric of Asmodeus. Because nothing says lawyer like contracts with the devil.

Yes I am changed the or to and. So everyone will roll 3d6 seven times and then with your IRL background you will gain some additional bonuses.

Tazo what would you prefer? You could change your race, gain owl wings, or becoming a gaint owl. If you pick the giant owl choice we would likely scale it back a bit and only make you large. Or you could be able to transform into a giant owl 3/day which lasts for 1 hour per level. Lots of choices!

A cleric of Caiden Caiyel and a cleric of asmodeous.... something tells me you are going to need something to bind you so that works out. Just saying.

I am hoping to see full profiles and character sheets soon! I would be fine with the seven of you to start the game, you are more than welcome to come to discussion and we can get the first part of the game going!

Does our special ability have to define our class? Ie, if I pick an elemental power, does that mean I should probably be some sort of caster class wise?

So do we start off with a class or just stats?

GM Wolf wrote:

Oh yes. Arguments incoming.

I think this profile is about as complete as it can be.

If you would like, I would be happy to create him in HeroLab as well, but I want to hear more about how you want the class itself to be expressed. Jacen as I see him works best as a sorcerer because his power would be based on both force of will (and joy) ... but I am happy to refine that as needed.

Should we just take all further discussion and questions over to the discussion thread? I still need to come up with my special ability and wish, which I have some ideas for. However, they *might* change based on what the answer is to my above question.

Also, how much of a backstory do you want? I can more or less remember the majority of my 40 years of IRL life, but idk if you how much of that you need, lol

3d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 5) = 12

3d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 3) = 12

3d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 3) = 6

3d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 6) = 16

3d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6) = 10

3d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 5) = 8

3d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 6) = 12 #7 Gonna swap this for the 6.

Stats will be:

Str 8

Dex 12

Con: 10

Int: 12

Wis: 12

Cha: 16

Might be a dumb question, but do we get the racial bonuses(+2 ability score, bonus skills, bonus feat) for the PF human race?

Should the bio be based on our actual lives in the real world, or is it sort of a character-within-a-character kind of thing? I’m less than clear on that part.

3d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 4) = 7
3d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 2) = 10
3d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 3) = 10
3d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 1) = 4
3d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3) = 7
3d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 4) = 12
3d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4) = 8

Oof. At least I can drop the 4. My wish should probably be for a race or template with good stat boosts, lol

I assumed it was real life. That's how I'm applying, at least. Although the stats won't be quite right, since I can't have a -19 for Dex.

I also did it as myself!

Grand Lodge

I went as a student, but I teach so I think its close enough. :P

Monkeygod wrote:

No, it is in addition. The more you connect the ability to your class, you can get or gain other aspects of it. There will be ways to do both routes, either with your class or separately.

Your ability can be completely separate from your class. What class do you want to play? That is probably the more important question.

So we might have a fighter who can cast fire or a rogue who can disappear.

N-1 wrote:

Stats, and 1 level of class, and boosts from your background story.

Yes you could bring your questions to discussion though if the questions are based on character creation they might be best suited for recruitment.

The Waskally has a great example of what I am looking for. Your story should talk about how you did as you grew, developed, and anything serious happening to you.
For example: I did not do many sports in high school and my strength likely suffered for it. I was sick about once a month but was not sickly. I had back surgery when I was 20 something and my dexterity took a hit from it. I am more book smart than street smart, though I can do pretty much anything with a bit of training. (+ to intelligence and a - to wisdom.) I pick things up quick. (+ to wisdom.)

Might be a dumb question, but do we get the racial bonuses(+2 ability score, bonus skills, bonus feat) for the PF human race?

Excellent question and yes, you will give yourself a +2 boost to whichever stat you so desire, have the extra skill point and the bonus feat! Though if you do change your race these qualities would go away and you would gain the other racial qualities.

Should the bio be based on our actual lives in the real world, or is it sort of a character-within-a-character kind of thing? I’m less than clear on that part.

Yes, the goal is to be able to play as you! Now with that in mind and you want to try a different background story that is fine too.

JonGarrett wrote:
I assumed it was real life. That's how I'm applying, at least. Although the stats won't be quite right, since I can't have a -19 for Dex.

I know you are exaggerating but please tell me why you would have a 1 for Dex?! Or just the joke that you typically are always falling down?

*Awesome* Will definitely be applying that +2 to my charisma!

For my class, I think I'll go Sylvan Sorcerer. Between being Cha based, having a tie to nature/fae(plus an animal companion!), a couple of good skills, and spellcasting, that's probably the closest to who I am IRL.

For my special ability, I was thinking of luck? Idk what sort of powers that would get me, but I am fairly lucky IRL(which will be in my backstory)to the point people have started calling me Lucky Monkey/Uncle Lucky(cuz of my Twitch screen name Uncle Monkey, lol).

My wish would be some sort of legendary shapeshifting power, something that gives me the all the powers of the form I take.

Question, would our backstory possibly get us additions to our class skills? Sorcerer is probably the best class for me overall, and I'll take a trait or two to add class skills, but there's still be a couple I would end up lacking. Even with taking into account background skills.

Edit I'm a bit uncomfortable/wary of using my actual IRL name online, so hopefully a slight variation of that is okay?

Yes variations are always encouraged and accepted. As most people don't want their self being plastered in public.

I will be searching your backstories for specific things which will include what skills you have learned, what ability scores may increase, and such.

Also you may want to have a second class in mind as I am sure you will want to gestalt once you find the ability, ritual, or event that allows it!

Monkeygod I can think of many ways to make Luck your superpower or give you a broad choice of spells to do the same.

I'm always up for gestalt! lol There's a few classes I would pick if I were to gestalt myself.

Yeah, there's definitely all sorts of ways to duplicate luck powers, just wasn't sure what was most fitting for this game.

Is my wish acceptable? I realize that's fairly powerful, so I would be willing to accept a curse or some other drawback.

For background skills, are we limited to just the 2/level?

So is this campaign going to be set in a 'modern' world, that also has magic and the like, or are we being transported away somewhere to a more medieval setting? Starting equipment seems to imply the former. Mostly I'm wondering whether here will be guns and the like, or if swords and plate armor will be the order of the day. I'm thinking of a paladin; might take the Holy Gun archetype if it's modern tech, but I'll build a different direction otherwise.

Hi, GM Wolf! Hi, fellow players! I'm Zaidel (A.K.A. Joe the Satyr)! I have nothing but the clothes on my back with are now very loose in places and awkward in others.

Wolf, I didn't get the boost from my background story, so they are not added.

Hey GM Wolf sorry for the delay this is Niversal coming from beyond.

stat: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 4) = 12
stat: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 6) = 12
stat: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 5) = 10
stat: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 5) = 10
stat: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 6) = 15
stat: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 1) = 6
stat: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 6) = 11

WELCOME BACK, BUDDY! This is Waskalis, BTW.

Well Monkeygod you should fully tell me what the wish is in fact wordage is important. Then what are the specifics of the power of transformation that you will gain?

A world of might and magic, that is all, most of it is not modern. If there is a gun in the world it has come into being through a wish or is in one town that will be hard to get to until you are 10th level.

The class grants you a gun so yes that could work but it is the former.

Herolab is not needed.

I seem to be missing your background story.

Yes you should interact with the Goddess in discussion (in a spoiler) and once that is finalized you can head into gameplay.

Gameplay is live and going! Please check in and ask any questions!

Nah, I just didn’t want to build a sword-and-Armor character and then find out everyone else was running around in bulletproof vests with uzis.

Starting gear tablet, wallet, backpack, 8

So going with Fey what major and minor ability would you want?

That wish works, permanent Tongues spell. Easily done. Let me know if this works or we need to adjust it, also you will need to post your official wish in discussion under a spoiler as you talk to the Goddess.

question:
Would it be reasonable to add in preform dance for the drama?

Could we get some more examples of the special abilities? Angelic, or Draconic for instance? Would it track with the sort of powers granted by the corresponding sorcerer bloodlines?

Otto:
Oh yeah for sure, I was sure I missed some skills you are proficient in, please let me know if there are any others!

Also come on over to discussion and speak with the Goddess in a spoiler. Once that is done you can appear in Gameplay! XD

Yes sorcerer bloodlines would be a good source.

Major power: transform into a large dragon 3/day

Angelic:

I’ll try to finish out my bio tonight or tomorrow. I think I’ve got all the questions I was going to ask answered.

Good, I can't wait!!!

Yeah, I need mine, but I had to get a buddy to help me swap out my keyboard on my latpop. R and Y stopped working, and the keyboard was a 'dismantle the whole damned thing to get it' kinda deal. I've done all my sheet stuff, just working on backstory now.

Ok sorry to hear about your keyboard I am sure that slowed you down. Get it done when you can and get over to discussion and gameplay!

Ok, this is Ouachitonian's submission. I used a version of my name in the background, but that man is dead. He decided to take a new one for his second chance. Ok, I just didn't want to create yet another new alias, so I reused one. lol

One Special Ability: Fire He wants to be Heaven's purifying flame, feared by evildoers!
Wish: Half-celestial Template He wants to be remade as a holy champion, as much an angel as a man!
Starting Gear: Regular clothes; boots, cargo pants, shirt, jacket, trucker hat, sunglasses. Wallet, boot knife, change, Gerber multitool.
Class Intention: Paladin, Tortured Crusader Archetype Charismatic he ain't. I'll decide exactly who he worships later.
Probably Ragathiel if we're using the normal Golarion gods (in which case I may build toward Crimson Templar).

I left a few thinks out of the statblock in the alias for the moment. Notably any gear and his bonus languages. Should I add languages from his old life? Seems like those would be useless here. Maybe as part of the reincarnation he got languages that work in this new world?

Literally you have all the gods from Earth as options, all d&d pantheon, Olympian, Egyptian, etc. Elder forgotten God's, etc.
