He pours a mug and hands it to Dwol as he speaks.
“No temple here, just a shrine at the end of the street near the lake. We’re not exactly Korvosa or Magnimar friend, news is slow to arrive and often distorted and misleading when it gets here. Problems in Janderhoff is what I hear, more dwarves than normal coming through here the last couple months. Lake seems to be having a good year for fish. Troll tracks outside of town according to your kin camped nearby.”

Dwoldrean Brewbelly |

Dwol drains his drink and lets out a hearty sigh-This is a temple if you worship the proper god my friend. An offering to the high priest and thanks for your sermon. He tips a gold and heads towards the door.
Once outside Dwol looks at the party-Who's ready for a trip to Kalsgard? Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and run into some trolls! Best you stay close Hal.

DC 16 Will: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
You unleash a powerful scream, inaudible to all but a single target. The target is dazed for 1 round and takes 1d6 points of sonic damage per two caster levels (maximum 5d6). A successful save negates the daze effect and halves the damage.

DM Darkvision |

*Garric: bullseye shot (requires move action) doesn’t work with rapid shot (requires full attack action), so going to disregard bullseye shot
Hal screams at his target temporarily disorienting it. Garric puts an arrow into and Dwol flails at it. Chack slashes her troll across the chest causing green ichor to flow out but the wound starts to knit immediately.

I don't think everyone if fully refreshed yet Dwol; we aren't all as unstoppable as you are. Hold still Chack, this will feel a little tingly.

Thanks for the charges back!
I actually like the spicyness/storyline of infernal healing wand. Is it REALLY an ethical dilemma? Would you drink a healing potion created by an evil priest/wizard? How would you even know?
Halafrin clearly sees it as a tool to be used with no question. Dwol is a little more skeptical.

perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18

Halafrin Mistweaver |

Killing trolls is noble work and Biston seems fairly defenseless if they begin to swarm. However, evil dwarven kings would seem to be able to spread more evil. My vote is forward to the axe unless there is something I don't see currently.

Dwoldrean Brewbelly |

My heart says to try and track back to where these three came from and end any further threat to the locals of Biston. My head says we should push on as fast as possible to Kalsgard to figure out where the axe is and set things to right in Janderhoff. What say the rest of you?
@Darkvision-Is there a clock ticking for our quest or are things fairly open ended? Would traveling by boat on the lake (or in general) be faster than marching all the way?

DM Darkvision |

Garric sees the trolls recently came down the path that heads north.
Dwol is unaware of any super urgency in his quest but generally thinks that sooner it is done the better.
Using an ocean going vessel to complete the majority of the journey should be the fastest way to Kalsgard. The closest port town on the ocean is a bit of a backtrack from your current position, passing back through Biston and then around the end of the lake and then south to Palin’s Cove.

Dwoldrean Brewbelly |

Dwol mulls it over for a few moments-Given our apparent 'rust', let's go make sure any local troll menace is fully abated. Once that's done, we can head to Palin's Cove and grab a ship to make up any lost time on the way to Kalsgard. Seems like a kingly solution I guess....
Lead on Garric, we're right behind you.
Marching order as previous.
