He has to rush by both of the strange blue lions to get into position, but once he is has found to a clear place to stand he levels his pointing finger down at orange and releases a blast of energy.
I believe his movement would provoke from both enemies. That's fine, it'll let other people get into position without risking an attack.

Zint sighs in both frustration and a little pain.
"What are these and why were they here? Would this be called evidence?"
"Corpses, is what I'd call'em. And, they're here 'cause we killed them," Durlock replies, his sarcasm evident. "And they're evidence of somethin', that's for certain."
Clearly uncomfortable on the ship and still rubbing his fresh wound, Durlock urges, "Let's finish our search of this wreck and finish it."

Kadef knows the creatures were Akatas, N Medium Aberations. Their bite contains parasitic worms that turn people into void zombies. It is part of their life cycle. The Akatas hatch from cacoons made of the star metal noqual. Traffic in Akatas is super illegal.
The Darkness finds nothing else of interest in this cargobay other than some metal shards.
Kadef |
Kadef gives The Darkness the bad news, ending with, "I wonder what the incubation period is for becoming a void zombie. We'd better get you back to the station as soon as possible."
Then he records the presence of the akatas.

Sorry I missed that.
The first door leads to another restroom.
The second door looks safe as well. This room contains seating for over a dozen people, all arranged facing a large screen. The title screen of an action movie plays a scene repeatedly, showing a halfling man quickly climbing up the side of a building while firing a pistol.

Having finished your investigation you return Officers Athret and Lojten, when they see your injuries they are immediatly concented, "Are you alright? What happened? What did you find?"

“Dangerous creatures attacked us as we entered one of the room. We believe those are azatas and their traffic is illegal in this system. Our colleague is probably in need of advanced medical care.”
"The Darkness" |
"Yeah, I guess I'm going to turn into a space zombie or something. It'd be a pretty gnarly way to go, but I bet the Stewards wouldnt like having to deal with a zombie outbreak. So those monsters are probably the worst thing they had on board. But I guess they were also forging credsticks, which is also kind of bad."
XperimentalDM |
"Well we can have anyone who was bitten checked out once this is done. We weren't expecting anything so dangerous or we would have taken care of it ourself. Is there anything else of interest you found?"

Zint scratches his head. "Uh, something about navigation logs I think? Who found that?"
"Told ye to write things down," grumbles Durlock.
"Found a mess o' fraudulent cred sticks with written plans t'make more," he notes more loudly. "Good reason to stick with coins or gems."

All of these talents will serve you well as Starfinders. I am honored to officially welcome you into our Society as full agents. Congratulations. I’d also like to invite you to choose a faction to work closely with, if you haven’t already. While it isn’t a requirement of membership in the Society, many agents choose to build up their reputation by going on missions like those you completed today."
Guidance also offers you all a Starfinder Branded industrial backpack in recognition of your completion of this assignment.

The quorlu says with their melodious voice “I am glad we where able to help. It was a welcome change to my usual mining operation. I look forward to working with the Society again, and” looking at the others “with some of you.”

The Darkness shrugs at the quorlu's comment. "I don't really care how any of you feel about me, but I had fun. If anyone is interested I have a set at Pazuzu's Perch tomorrow night. I could get you in without the cover charge but they do make you sign an NDA. It's kind of a scene I guess."
The towering sarcesian then grabs his credsticks and after putting it in his jeans pocket he walks out of the room, crouching like a crab as he steps out of the door.
