About Durlok Stonegrinder
Background:
Raised in a traditional, pre-Gap lifestyle on Salvation's End, Durlok was abhorred to learn about the Pact Worlds and its dazzling array of technologies. Unsure of his place in the galaxy, he made his way the Diaspora and got mining work. He found the mindless, back-breaking toil difficult and drudgery, but was grateful to have the work.
It did not last long, however, as his job was phased-out and replaced with an automated drill. Turning to magic, Durlok took up the mantle of the "Circuit Breaker", opposing tech in most all of its forms. Unsure where else to go, he was able to secure a position with the Starfinder Society, where he delights in the possibility of finding ancient magics that connect him to his past or, at the very least, an opportunity to smash some tech.
Durlok is old-fashioned to the extreme and carries a heavy bias against androids and other forms of AI, which he refers to in derogatory terms.
