Dont know the DC to be honest as this comes from Fimbrik.

Cith steps to the side, glares at Veldrid, readies his longspear, and then says “Approach!”
Veldrid, Will save, with IC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
"The Decemvirate do the bidding of no other!" Veldrid cries defiantly.
Another eagle appears this time next to the yellow
"May your eye sight be like mine"
"Zaul! Help me!" Veldrid cries as the eagle goes for her eye sockets and leaves a painful scratch.
Gaius moves forward and passes righteous judgement upon DropDead Red.
Hopeless.
The judgment is appealed.
Hope lies in your allies.

Any creature within or on the opposite side of one of these streams of mist has concealment (20% miss chance). Whenever a creature is knocked unconscious, their body seems to stream away into the mist, drawn in and slowly disintegrated.

I have plenty of hope in my allies; it's this PC that's hopeless! And hopefully the rest of the team can DO IT! :)

That dude done got phlattened...
GM Valen |
With one phell swing, Phatty brings down the final foe.
Veldrid is knocked unconscious, as she collapses to the floor her body seems to stream away into the mist, drawn in and slowly disintegrated as had Helven's before her. The projection of the cowardly Zaul, had already fled, disappearing from the vision once he exited the hall.
Now that the Decemvirate members are defeated, the vision wavers.
Eylysia smiles at you, observing, “That went differently this time; I like this ending better,” before fading from view. As she does, you each are inundated with a vision. You see an injured Zaul fleeing the battle, abandoning the others as he disappears into the strange mist swirling around the library.
However, only one of Eylysia’s companions remains visible. It is the gnome wizard Fimbrik the Illusionist and he sends a crackle of spell energy at Veldrid. The masked dwarf drops to the ground where she
disintegrates into motes of color that the unstable magic quickly devours.
A badly wounded Helven enters into view and points his blade at Eylysia. He stalks towards the defiant gnome woman.
“Your secrets cannot remain hidden forever!” Eylysia cries, before tapping a foot on the ground and vanishing. The broken strands of magical mist explode in a whirlwind of rainbow light as Eylysia’s vision concludes and the battered old spell finally ends.
As the final vision fades, you find yourselves once again fully in the present. The forms you and your companions are again solely your own--free of injury.
Before you stands Kreighton Shaine and the two helmed members of the Decemvirate. The Master of Scrolls steps forward and inquires with great interest and curiosity. "Can you now see us?" he asks. "What is that has transpired? Have you have all experienced a vision of some kind?"
Gaius Marius |
"Indeed we can see you and yes, we experienced a vision of some kind. You may want to sit down, especially you two, (gesturing to the Decemvirate members) because I'm not sure you will like what we are going to tell you..."
Gaius will begin describing the vision, the battle, and what the group has learned in the process. He will encourage the others to add their own opinions and perspectives.
Cith the Curious |
Cith blinks his eyes a few times and checks that everything is back as it should be.
He allows Gaius to lead the explanation, adding in a few details when they strike him. If Gaius fails to mention it, he includes some of the information about the actions their own investigation had uncovered such as the murders Veldrid performed resulting in a haunt.
“The helms may protect the Decemvirate from attack, but it seems a few of them misused this to hide their own crimes.”

I didn't want to take all the oxygen from the room but, yes, Gaius is going to point out how wrong the PFS has the Elysia situation and how they were essentially hoodwinked by some evildoers.
Hagathe |
It would seem the truth is what the Helms hide, and I for one will not stand beside people like that. Don't pretend to be something you are not, and don't hide behind the society's shield. I will let the Society do what they deem necessary, I believe our work here is done Master Shaine, so I will take my leave... Hagathe will say good bye to her new friends, her first friends in awhile; she thinks about her old home, head held high, she looks foreword to her next adventure.
GM Valen |
Upon hearing the story, the two masked Decemvirate members turn towards each other as though sharing a silent conversation .
"These visions that you experienced were shared by you alone, so we much appreciate your accounts and shall consider, too, your counsel," Shane interjects. "While the Decemvirate are very interested in what you have discovered, the Decemvirate members currently present have no interest in dragging up old feuds. They simply wish to know what truly happened.'
In the strangely neutral voices produced through the magic of the masks, one member of the Decemvirate turns to address you all. “These secrets have remained hidden for too long—from the Decemvirate and the Society both. In doing so, the organization defamed an upstanding agent. What we have learned here grants us an opportunity to correct past crimes. Well done, Pathfinders.”
As the two masked figures turn and exit the library, Kreighton Shaine congratulates you. "Thank you all for your excellent work. I am certain that the Society will soon have more tasks for you each."
FIN
Thank you all for playing and for hanging in there! This was a fun, interesting group of PCs. I will get the link to the chronicles up in another day or so.
Gaius Marius |
@GM: And thank you very much for running! And also thanks to the other players for saving my bacon through my crappy rolls!
