As most of you probably know by now, but for those that don't this is a part of the Multi-Table Specials. With this it tends to move a bit faster than a normal scenario as we will be on time crunches for each part. SO please be able to post at least once a day. I will try to do multiple update posts for this myself to help us complete and see as much as possible.

![]() |

Sounds like we'll have at least a decent representation of the "Sturdy Folk" in this one.
Postin' will nae be a problem.

![]() |

Note that my profile is not up to date… will be doing that after this weekend, as I am playing Thulgrun twice (I hope).
He will still be 8th for this, thankfully
Also, after his weekend I should have my third glyph, so I think the table will be starting with everyone having at least 2 hero points (I start with three thanks to convention hero and my campaign coin!)

![]() |

It seems that we all will have 3 hero points to start except one character with 2. Still a glyph to announce so we get the failing hero point?

![]() |

THe Tactical Map is listed if you guys wouldn't mind placing your tokens and Hero Points on there. There is also a small listing of past played scenarios that you can mark that will have an affect within this Special.

![]() |

So do you have two glyphs AND a campaign coin? If yes we all have three hero point from the beginning.

![]() |

Charming also has the Convention boon and a GM glyph to pass out. How many “extra” hero points does that put us at? XD

![]() |

@Dran'Thor- Keep in mind that you can only gain one extra hero point from folks passing theirs around. So max you can start off at is two Hero points unless you have Campaign Coin or a boon that gives you another one.
During initial Hero Point distribution, GMs receive Hero Points equal to their glyphs to distribute to the table. A player cannot gain more than one additional Hero Point from glyphs

I do indeed. I keep busy.

![]() |

So Orin and Thulgrun have a campaign coin. Prince and me have a boon. So if each of us get a hero point from glyph that put us all at 3 hero points with Dranald at 2 of them. Is it right, Tyranius?

![]() |

If it were possible, I could actually have four, then, due to the convention hero boon on this character. But, I will take the campaign coin over the boob, for obvious reasons.
We will be going in with shields up!

Thulgrun is finally updated.

Don't forget to finish filling in the slides on the Maps with your tokens and which scenarios you have played from the listing.

![]() |

In the Maps (Slide 5) I have a slide for Aid Tokens. Each table begins with 4 aid tokens. The catch is that you can't use you own Aid Tokens. You must pass yours to other tabes where they can be used. Each Part you can pass one aid token. (Introduction, Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3).
So I need you to choose which aid token you want to try and boost / pass at this time.

Figure decisiveness/timeliness is always a plus is special land.
Orin Thunderstone helps out with an allied offensive!
Strike vs AC 25: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33

![]() |

Dran'Thor,
Assurance is [10 + proficiency bonus], which does not include any attribute bonus.
That is why when I “roll” Athletics with Assurance, I get a 24.
Level (8) + master (6) + 10 = 24
I am guessing you should be getting a 22 on Nature with Assurance, based on a +16 skill at level 8 and Wisdom 19
Level(8) + Expert(4)

@Dran'Thor do you still wish to use Assurance in this instance with a 22?

The second Tier 7-8 table lost a player and are now down to 3 players. As there are no pregens in that range it would make their table fold. Is there 1 player that would be willing to shift over to Doug Hahn's table?

![]() |

Tyranius, if it helps, I can move over.

GM Doug H |

We're all set now; Thulgrim should stay here but I appreciate it!
Here's our aid token for you:
---------------------------------------
**AID TOKEN: Burst of Healing**
**Passing From**: GM Doug
**Passing To**: Tyranus
**Aid Character Name**: Berwick Winetrout
Effect: A fellow Pathfinder heals all the PCs by 4d8
**Boosted?** No
---------------------------------------

![]() |

Thanks, that is great to hear!
Also thanks for the boon.

![]() |

I don't need any ammunition, so what would folks need? Arrows? bolts?

![]() |

Where would you guys like to go to after this location?

![]() |

Let's give the Provide Knowledge:
Religion: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16

![]() |

For selfish reasons, Charming would love to do Mission B (It Talks) at some point. He would prefer helping allies rather than mowing the lawn, but he’ll be happy either way.

![]() |

Ha, we picked 3 different locations.
Orin: D
Prince Charming: B
Thulgrin: C
We just need a second vote for one of these from our remaining Pathfinders.

![]() |

Or, we just do them in that order?

![]() |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

That's all of us then.
Thinking of it this way, we can probably do all if not most of them, if we are fast.
So, lets do B first, then C, then D?
I don't care that much... just want to move on!

Dispel magic doesn’t have a heightened entry, but the fact that it makes a counteract check means its effectiveness depends on it being cast using higher and higher level spell slots (since the counteract subsystem compares effect levels against each other). It’s kinda a neat check-and-balance, but it’s not clear from the spell description that that’s what’s going on mechanically unless you’re already familiar with the counteract rules.

![]() |

Indeed, all spells can be heightened to increase their spell level. A lot of spells have additional benefits to increasing the spell leve by having specific benefits.
Dispel Magic is one of the ones that doesn't have specific benefits but does go off of its spell level for the Counteract check. For dispel magic you generally want to keep it either in a max spell level or just one below from your max. It is a great spell to have set in your Signature Spell Lists.

I don't recall how much time we get to heal, but I am down 80... I will handle this depending on how much time we have (Thulgrun has continual recovery and ward medic)

![]() |

You have plenty of time for all the healing you need in between missions. The missions take all day and there is no set time listed in the scenario.

Cool.
