The Daimyo is awaiting your findings. "Well, what did you find out?" he asks.
Dai bows in greeting and then says, "We found several men practicing Maho. We slew the villian's and brought their heads back so that they could be identified. It is possible that the taint does not stop with them. We burned all of their items to ensure that no taint would linger."
Niko nods.
"Very good," says the Daimyo. "Akodo Toturi wants to see you."
Matsu Niko says, "That shall be an honor, my lord."
"He's awaiting you in my office," says the Daimyo.
Dai bows and waits to be escorted to Toturi-sama.
Niko follows the daimyo.
You both enter a medium sized room. Sitting at a table is Akodo Toturi. He's in a yellow kimono and has his mon embroidered on his shoulders. He looks at you.
"Please, sit, noble magistrates."
Dai bows and then sits.
Matsu Niko nods and sits, "It is good to see you again, cousin. What can we do for you?"

"I don't have a medal to award you with," he says. "But I'd like to show my appreciation anyhow. I'm going to have two katana forged by our smiths. They will have Lion iconography associated with them. They will be yours."

"Dai, I know you are Dragon, so I'll write a communique to the Dragon Champion telling him what you have done. You both did a service to the Lion Clan that won't be forgotten by me or the rest of us."

"Yes, there is something else," said Akodo Toturi. He shifts to face Dai. "For further appreciation for what you have done, I can arrange a marriage for you. I can present you to one of my sisters."
Matsu Niko says, "According to our custom, you will be joining the Matsu clan. My cousin's sisters are Matsus and if you marry into the Matsu clan you will take on our name. Our house is gynocentric."
"Would the Champion's sisters not be from the Akodo clan?" Dai asks as he did not think that all of the clan's women took on the Matsu name.
Matsu Niko chuckles and says, "The Lion Champion's mother is a Matsu which means his sisters are Matsus as well. Sons of the Matsu clan revert to their father's original house. Men cannot hold position in our house. Marrying into our house is a great honor. You met my father and he is currently a Matsu by marriage."
