With his inspiration lingering, Jikl takes the chance to heal Hopper's bruises. Hopper pretends to throw a bomb, but the zombibi doesn't really react to his tricks. Wolfie has a better trick: Biting one creature and slashing the other. Hopper's bomb goes overhead but some of the flames splash upon Worker 7's Yellow sleeve.

Fumbus decides he's not climbing the boxes this day and instead hurls a vial directly at the Black-sleeved creature. Looks like those flames will linger on. Meadow and Silence coordinate their efforts to destroy its remains, letting the rest of it burn out.

If the guards heard anything, they aren't paying attention. Seems like there is plenty of time to sneak away.

As you leave the warehouses and return to the road, you see Selu speaking to a robed man at the doorway. He tells Selu, "Whenever you tire of those bones, my mistress will be quite interested in you. Be at peace." The man closes the temple door behind him.

Selu looks at you all. "That vampire countess still wants my mind. Not today. Not. yet." An awkward cough breaks the silence. "What did you discover?"

Hopper rides on the Wolfie following the others. He jumps up and down, like he would fall down any minute now, but he does not.

When they meet Selu he says

"We found a warehouse that had three flesh golems. They seemed to have dismembered zombies working there before. When we came there, they pretended to be working... The other warehouse had a false record sheet, plenty of errors. But zombies there were actually zombies, and they were working. The weirdest thing was that both guards were protecting only one of the warehouses, maybe that should change... "

Silence fidgets as Meadow carefully checks the owl's wounds. "Stop squirming and let me take a look, you big baby."

After examining Silence for a bit she turns to Hopper and nods. "He looks okay. I'll patch him up once we get out of here and deliver our report. He may whine a little but he's actually pretty tough." She gives the owl a light hug, carefully avoiding his injuries.

Someone was stealing zombie arms and putting them into a box and making even ickier monsters out of what was left of the zombies. The guards seem to think that Nex is behind it all. Well one of them anyway."

"At least you solved what was going on with the fruit trade. Good job, everyone."
