Deluge-Core |
Sure, why not.
Deluge launches himself into the air, turning into a potbellied dire bat, and wheels around a bit screeching. After a moment to let the reaction build, he descends in a blur to latch onto the ettin and scream some more.

GM Aldizog |
Somehow, the crowd decides to cheer loudest for Deluge...
They are not unfamiliar with druids, so they know the bat is the one who was hurling flames.
A few who know Common manage to rally the crowd into a "THROW MORE FIRE" chant.
What are James and Fethril doing?
James Rob-in-son |
With the fight over James ceases to rage and walks slowly out of the arena catching his breath.
Deluge-Core |
Deluge obliges by hurling another flame bolt into the air.
GM Aldizog |
Seeing James end his rage, Ploog chooses that moment to approach. He's fought barbarians before. Four guards accompany him as he walks down to the arena floor.
"Well fought. You left Vroth alive? I guess he's fighting the new bulette if he wants to regain his status. You are still entitled to his gear.
And this slave, of course."
He hands over Gulros and unlocks the manacles.
One of the guards hands over a human-sized set of banded mail. Ploog notes, "This too was Vroth's... took it as a prize." It is +3.
Another guard hands you a sack of filthy gold coins covered in some sort of crust. "Might want to wash these."
"The bulette is mine, the slave is yours, and you can depart Urglin without any further trouble to you or to me. Are we agreed?"
Ploog is wary of you after your victory (hence waiting for James to be out of Rage and fatigued before approaching), but he seems neither excessively afraid of you nor looking to wring out more favors.
Assuming you are all not looking to trigger another combat...
----
Upon reuniting with you at the agreed rendezvous point, Venture-Captain Canayven Heidmarch listens to your report, courteously greets Gulros, and motions to several ponies with fully laden pack saddles behind him before explaining that he has secured enough supplies for an overland trip to Urgir and that the PCs will be among the first Pathfinders ever to set foot in the Sky Citadel of Koldukar.
Scenario completed! I will need Day Job rolls and boon rolls in the Discussion threat.
Two Blades in the Shadows |
"You are free Gulros, no longer a slave." Two Blades said. "We would like to to become a consultant. You will become paid for your knowledge." he added.
That Liberty's Edge thing :)
