Unsuccessful to create something from the residue of the pool, the group presses on and heads west. The room is empty except for some weapons, shield, and armor that are now rusted beyond any hope of repairing them. They keep looking to the east, most of the objects in this room are mundane pieces of gear, which together form an adventurer’s kit. They also find a satchel filled various objects that has looted from this room. These include an ominous curved dagger with a small onyx gem in its hilt and a mirror decorated with a serpent motif.
They check another room adjacent to the one in the east. The two statues in this room depict a pair of robed skeletons each of which is pointing at the other.

After a moment's pause, he says "Just as I suspected... it looks like yours is broken! I'd have that fixed as soon as possible. Maximillius Getafix of the Adeptus Mechanicus faction is excellent as fixing broken wayfinders." He passes back the 'wayfinder' to its' owner.

"Anyway," he turns his back to them and goes deeper into the shrine toward the statue. "I am searching this site when I find that this statue..." he continues as he approaches the statue he is referring to but his is interrupted mid-sentence when suddenly, the lights flicker, and two statues closest to him animate!
Seeing them, the man shouts in fear, "ACKKK!!" and runs out of the shrine, leaving the pathfinders to face the animated statues themselves! Two hostile creatures to the south also converges with them!
