Seeing the high quality small crossbow, Irlana switches it with the common one she was using, packs the alchemist's fire into one of the pockets on her sash, then follows the group in.

Due to the low ceilings, Andwise opts to walk immediately behind Tanssi- one hand resting on its haunches and the other grasping a small flask of acid. He looks back over his shoulder into the dark frequently- not trusting the holes and caverns of a Kobold.

Those daggers are Medium sized (as most treasure is), so there is a penalty for Andwise to use them. But he shouldn't have to worry about the low ceilings anyways.

The kobold sniper leads the party down the southern passage. The tunnels are tight, and the group often finds themselves squeezing down the tunnels. The reach a junction and the captive says, "This is the way."

Ilvaria and Sir Falcon both start getting a hunch at this point that their guide is hiding something.

Suizal shakes her head while talking down to the kobold. "No, silly kobold. Your chieftain wont kill us. If anything, we'll kill him.". She smiles while patting the kobold's head.

The kobold's ears sink to the sides of his head. "Okay, fine. Maybe I can talk Roaghuz into sparing me for bringing me right to him some sacrifices," he grumbles. "Okay, you have to cross like this if you want to avoid the trap."

The kobold then climbs up on the wall and onto a pile of rubble that was jammed into an alcove. He struggles with climbing having his hands bound, but he manages to keep his balance. After carefully crossing over the pile of trash the kobold hops over to the other side.

At this point the party hears a shout in Draconic echo through out the caves. "Intruders in the caves! Intruders in the caves!"

"Uh oh...looks like somebody overheard us talking. That's a pity...for you," the kobold quips, before turning to run away. The tunnels begin to echo with the warcries of well over a dozen kobold warriors.

Kobolds rolled very well on their Perception to hear the party talking and the scout they sent to check out the noise also rolled very well on their Stealth check

As the creatures appear, Andwise's hand glow in a faint white light. He reaches out and touches Tanssi before the flash overcomes the cat-like creature.

Andwise casts mage armor upon Tanssi. At the same time, some of the kobolds scramble into position. Two kobolds launch sling stones at Suizal while a third scrambles 10 feet up a rope ladder, reaching the relative safety of a ledge up above. Two of the stones bounce off her body, just forceful enough to hurt a bit.

The room where the stones came from appears to have a much taller ceiling and has a pit intersecting it, with only a five foot wide path allowing passage from one side to the other. There are ledges about eight feet off the ground like the one a kobold just climbed a ladder to reach the top of.

The tied up pair of kobolds struggle against their bonds in vain, and start to cry out in Draconic, "Over here! The filthy longshanks have captured us! Their evil drow witch says she's going to eat us!" The wounded kobold who had been acting as a guide stumbles ahead and goes around a corner, trying to put distance between themselves and the party.

She reaches over to Sir Falcon. "Sir Falcon, let me enhance your sword for the battle. The magic will last for a couple of minutes, so wait until Ilvaria has cast her magic on the kobolds."

Good spells to cast for this giant brawl. Just keep in mind that sleep will finish before Ilvaria can act and she will need to target an intersection that she has line of sight to. For an example, I drew an orange line to one possible place she could plant the spell. Of course, that might be a moot point...

Ilvaria begins drawing the magic out of her blood to prepare for a big spell. Irlana reaches out and touches the handle of Sir Falcon's katana. Softly glowing runes appear along the blade of as the enchantment fills the weapon.

There is a twang as a crossbowbolt let's loose. Ilvaria looks down in shock to see that an arrow passed right through the meat of her arm.

The low ceilings don't impact movement, just attack rolls, if you're wondering.

Sir Falcon steps out of the cramped tunnel and into a spacious cavern with a 20 foot tall ceiling.

The sniper's lucky shot paid extra dividends, as it also caused Ilvaria to lose her concentration and the spell she was preparing to cast.

The kobolds let out a cry of fear as they see the armored human move into the cavern. Several of the kobolds line up along the only narrow opening to the their cavern, with the one in the middle taking up a defensive stance and the other two readying their spears to attack anyone coming forward. The sniper on the other perch then also takes a shot at the samurai but it clatters off the wall behind him.

Andwise pools a small puddle of arcane acid in his palm, and as soon as the first of the kobolds in in range, he unleashes it.

20 ft move, should leave 30ft to one of the blue kobolds. Tanssi hasn't atttacked yet, nor the kobolds so it shouldn't take precise shot penalties

She moves in to get a better view of the lair and spots a kobold just to the north of her.

"You there! Stop what you're doing! Take this as a warning."

She lobs a bolt of cold in it's direction, with no hesitation.

Suizal and Andwise both fire cantrips off, but only Andwise's hits. Tanssi takes up a position on the walkway.

The kobold on the nearby ledge pulls up the rope ladder then readies a sling. Two other kobolds line up along the pit and sling rocks at Sir Falcon. He doesn't even bother dodging and just let's the breastplate take both missiles. The samurai barely flinches as the stones bounce off without even denting the steel.

Another group of kobolds comes running out of the northern corridor with Spears in hand. The party's guide continues to run away down the tunnel and the two tied up kobolds near the party continue shouting for help.

Having seen Ilvaria's casting interrupted Irlana decides to give the snipers a different target. She steps to where she can view the kobolds and starts casting a cantrip.

If I can spot one with a crossbow within 30' I cast Daze on it. DC12 Will save to avoid the effect.

The green kobold is the one that shot Ilvaria. He is 8 feet above the party (So basically 10 feet up, subtract 5 from your range to account for the height). Irlana will need to move to Sir Falcon's side to target him.

Ilvaria begins to cast yet another sleep spell. Irlana tries to decide where she is going to move and which one she wants to target with her daze spell.

I'll give Irlana a chance to move before moving down the initiative

Sir Falcon moves in and slashes at one of the kobolds, but somehow loses his footing stepping into a slippery puddle.

The halfing steps up behind Tanssi, pulling a pouch of small powder out. Uttering some arcane words, he throws the powder into the air, catching three of the kobolds in its cloud.

Suizal blasts the slinger on the ledge with a blast of cold. Tanssi then tears apart the two kobolds on the sides of the kobold blocking the bridge. Finally, Andwise steps forward and sprays the two standing kobolds with a cone of rainbow colored lights. Both kobolds drop their weapons on the ground and clutch their eyes, then fall to the ground unconscious.

The tied up kobolds suddenly start squealing as a group of aggressive looking furred creatures the size of cocker spaniels charge down the tunnel towards them. The tied up kobolds stumble past Ilvaria, crying in terror.

One kobold slings a stone at Andwise, and the kobold on top of the ledge tosses a stone down at Suizal. They miss Andwise, but Suizal gets clobbered by the rock.

Ilvaria, you get to start the round laying down your sleep spell, but it does have to be an intersection within line of sight. If you can draw a line from somewhere on your character to the target, its good. Its okay if it runs along a wall, but the cavern walls do rise up to the ceiling so she can't aim at something behind them. And her token was sort of in between two squares, so if she wanted to be in the square north, you can move her there.

A successful save reduces the effect to only 1d4 rounds of being sickened. A creature cannot use the scent ability as long as it is affected by this musk.

The red happy face are the two kobolds that the party brought with them into the dungeon. I believe Irlana and Suizal have light cast on themselves, which grants a 20 foot radius of light, and another 20 feet of low-light, so they should be able to see fine. There is a pit to the east of the party but that doesn't block vision. And the kobolds on ledges are fully visible, just elevated. The only kobold that Irlana can't see is the sniper captive who ran away and the purple kobold, as they have walls blocking line of sight. And I believe the rats also have line of sight blocked. So which kobold does Irlana want to target?

Irlana fires her crossbow at one of the wounded kobold on the ledge. The kobold staggers back, stunned at seeing an arrow sticking out of it chest.

A kobold dressed in a long purple robe emerges from a tunnel, holding a scroll in one hand and a loaded crossbow in the other. The kobold then casts a spell on Sir Falcon.

Sir Falcon, you will need to give me a Will Save. And since you have resolve, you can decide whether you want to spend your resolve to roll twice.

One of the snipers on a ledge takes a shot at Tanssi, but the field of force placed on it by their master deflects the bolt away from it. The kobold scrambles to load another bolt into the crossbow.

Andwise can also take his turn to start off round 4. Just a note, if Tanssi wants to go after the next gold kobold, they will have to use a move action instead of five foot stepping due to the pit; just like it was a hard corner.

But before Andwise and register his complaint, Tanssi's shadow form disappears into the darkness. Looking about, he sees the Kobolds in this secondary chamber. Pooling a collection of acid into his hand, he reaches out and sends another globule of caustic liquid at the fleeing red kobold.
