Hero points to Nandipha and Lucius for interacting with the NPCs in a couple of fun scenes!
Some day, maybe you will need to spend them. Hero points will reset between parts.
We are nearing the end of part 1. You will level up once you clear out the outer buildings. We'll take a couple of days off between parts for RP and leveling, but you can start thinking about your next steps for progression now.

does not look like leap requires movement like long jump does.
You can Leap 10’ horizontally with no check, letting you clear a 5’ gap such as the trap.

Side note: I've been playing it fast and loose with these Wild Empathy checks; technically, you can only make requests to Friendly or Helpful creatures, so Nandipha should have had to make more checks (Improve attitude, then request). However, I get the impression that the party isn't too interested in fighting these animals. I don't mind exchanging creepy-crawlies for small story moments, and I hope you don't either! Plus, it's so rare to see WIld Empathy ACTUALLY be useful.
Part 1 is written to be for newer players and GMs coming out of the Beginner's Box so it's very easy (the only Severe encounter is Finley, and I would probably be very upset if you outright attacked them before at least trying to solve their problem), but Part 2 and 3 will ramp up the difficulty to that of a standard module's.

Yeah. I find fighting spiders and rats for the dozenth time rather boring from either side of the gm screen!
Might be my colorblindness, but I am having a hard time seeing lines on this map, by the way. In case anyone else is having trouble, part 2's maps will be better.

Also, Hilary is working today so it might be a while before we see an update from Nandipha.

"Should fix up Baux and Nandipha."
That was supposed to be my trigger for our hand-waved healing. I think Doug's been assuming we heal between encounters unless we take a significant amount of damage.
Biltri could have healed up both of you and recharged his FP in 40 minutes.

I'm thinking of Olli. Scalliwings are called out as often wanting to "assist" spellcasters as familiars, and I think the module is set up to give you an opportunity to have a familiar. Why else would they have added such a creature!? However, there isn't an actual Scalliwing familiar.
I think she should have Speech and Flight required, which leaves you with 0 master abilities if you take the familiar master archetype (however, those are still good abilities).
Perhaps Olli can also use some of her spell-like abilities like invisibility, but independently and out of combat.
I'm also open to any ideas you have! I want Ollie to be a little better (but not too much better — yet) than a typical familiar since she is special.

Nandipha doesn't need Master Abilities or combat abilities. What she needs is another friend with a feathered tail who can help with the fishing and who will get along with Carrots. Will Ollie allow Nandipha and Carrots to move into to her room? We seem to be short on bedrooms in this lodge.

Don’t see why not; you can also retrain like Nandipha did. It’s mostly a chance to roleay a little.
That said, since this is Campaign mode I can always throw an elite template on enemies if that 4sp throws off module balance :p

OK, great. I also wouldn't want to miss the RP portion, not that we aren't also RPing amongst ourselves, which I also appreciate.

That's -25 HP altogether? Out of his 22 HP. Yikes!
I think Lucius is shorting himself a few HP... shouldn't you have 6+8*3=30?

That means, I think, that I could move 1 square even action. But, if I want to Sneak, I move at 1/2 speed. So, it takes 2 actions to move 5'?
This feel off, but I want to make sure I am getting this right before I act
