I was looking on the wrong table for event 1
Your scout ship is one of the first on the scene to rescue the survivors of a disaster. Roll either Medic 8+ or Engineer
8+. If you succeed, gain a Contact and DM+2 to your next Advancement check. If you fail, gain an Enemy
niether one of those skills is part of basic training for a scout...what Stat do I use to modify???
Both rolls would be the same...I'm going to use Int for stat

Well that was entertaining!
One of the interesting things about Traveller is your Character Generation rolls can go gloriously awry and you still come out with a usable and interesting character.
A few minor points:
1) You didn't gain 3D (3-18) enemies, you gained D3, which means 1-3. Ya never know. Maybe one of them has a descendant who remembers...? Probably not.
2) Per the Players Guide, your ship shares and scout ship are converted into D3 (1-3) ship shares, and ship shares can be used to repair the harrier.

My character might be a bit of a prick
Just make sure it's him and not you! Abrasive is one thing, disruptive of the game is another. I mean, the main characters will need a reason to keep him around!
I'll trust you to walk the line well.
Since you can't make connections with the other PCs and because you didn't really get many/any skills, I'm going to assign you Gun Combat 1 (your choice of slug pistol or laser pistol) and your choice of any two non-combat skills at level 1 to round out your character.
