Just to be complete, with any form of Healing, on a Raise you heal 2 Wounds. One person can only try to heal another with the Healing skill once (for that set of Wounds), but with the Healing Power the caster can try as many times as he has Power for.
If the person doing the Healing has Wounds themselves, they subtract from their roll as usual. But the Wounds of the person they are Healing don't subtract.

No issue, I had Jury duty and its messed with my schedule lol. I'll try to post more but I have not been posting a high rate lately. I don't expect posts on the weekends as I am often not online much on them.

Hope she is doing Okay, take whatever time you need.

Should be up to posting tomorrow.
The surgery went well, and now it is just the healing phase which still takes assistance.

I'll keep her in my thoughts man.

So as to not clutter gameplay, i appreciate the well wishes.
She is doing well from the surgery. The horde of appointments were for the start of physio, Sgetting staples removed, pharmacy for meds and several other mundane tasks.
all in all just very time consuming.

Keeper - what are the range numbers for the Spencer Carbine, and the rifles we have access to (have on hand)? Thanks!

I apologize for not being on. But I got hit hard by the flu.
I will be catching up today, and will be back to posting tomorrow.
Gonna repeat what I said in thread, somehow I missed both the post on the 24th and Monday. I logged in Monday but no new posts where showing, so I somehow missed them. My mistake guys

No problem. I just thought you were busy with life. :)
I was busy as hell this weekend, but nope that was me just someone missing posts. I know I am blind but damn.

Well, just spent the last 2 days digging out from a blizzard that buried our vehicles. :(
Give me a bit of time to get caught up and posting.
This game has been slow posting ( mostly my fault) so no worries about the holidays. I'll be out of town myself from Thursday til at lest Saturday this upcoming week.
@Roden good luck on the move
@Rufus Ugh, blizzard. We don't get em to often in Kentucky, but snow is always a b!&$&.

Keeper - I noticed I got a 6 on my Wild die in your "this one counts" set of rolls, which is an Ace, but you didn't re-roll it.
I always tell my players to always re-roll all Aces until they stop Acing, because that could affect later rolls in that post. For example, if you had re-rolled for my Ace, I would have gotten Winona's 4, Winona would have gotten Roden's 1, and maybe Roden's Wild die roll would have been higher.

Okay a few things I want to address here.
1: Some of you did not like me doing a group notice roll. Which is fair. In the future I will not do so unless the conditions below are met.
2: I will start giving y'all a two day grace for rolls and posts. If you have not posted 2 days after I need a roll or comment made I'll NPC the rolls and move on the scene.
3: Now @ Flying Eagle: The groups rolls were kinda odd for this encounter. for two reasons.
- A: The rolls were kinda made pointless by Rodens "spot an ambush before it happens " stuff.
- B: When I make rolls I do one row per person/NPC then later add secondary rolls. You would not have gotten someone else rolls. I normally would have added secondary rolls.
- C: This is written as "Lowest roll get attacked". Whoever rolled lowest was "it". And Roden allowed y'all to sidestep it.
Human Indian : Parry 7 (with shield), Toughness 6(1)
Rodan - I just want to apologize for mis-spelling your name so much lately. I'd swear that at one point a few days ago, I scrolled up to look at one of your posts for your name, and saw "Roden". Must've been before I'd had my coffee...
male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller
"Roden" was likely me TBH. Also I totally get not building something fora wild west game right. This along with my RL deadlands game I started about the same time was my first dive into deadlands and mistakes have been made on my end for sure.
Male Human, Bennies 2 /3 Parry 4, Toughness 5, Wounds 0
Yes, Rodan is set up to be ridding the plains..But when he needs to use his smarts he becomes useless.
Also was the die raise only good for that roll or can I use it for this one as well?
Human Indian : Parry 7 (with shield), Toughness 6(1)
Rodan, Winona - the die boost lasts for 5 rounds, I should have mentioned that.

I don't know that there's anything I can do. Shooting a pistol at a massive swarm of water snakes seems pointless.
male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller
Fair enough, But if folks don't at lest post something, I am not sure you even saw the post. Its fine to post that Winona is unsure what she can do.
Human Indian : Parry 7 (with shield), Toughness 6(1)
Using a shotgun is an interesting option. Swarms states that single bullets or swords can't do much, but that Blast is a viable option. A shotgun is sort of a Blast, right?
<time passes>
I actually found a discussion in the PEG forums about exactly this :
https://www.pegforum.com/forum/savage-worlds/savage-worlds-general-chat/351 13-shotguns-and-area-effect
TL;DR : most posters agreed that the shotgun should affect the swarm, but at a reduced damage.
Male Human Toughness 5, Parry 5, Notice d4; Bennies 3; Wounds 0
I just want to get out of the water by just hanging on.
Updating in a few minutes, but I allowed shotguns on the last swarm. So shotgun's or other AoE options are best. Just trying to run out of the water is another good option.

Sorry for not posting, I could not log on to this site. I had to open a new incognito window just to log in.
That is odd, may need to try and clear your cookies
Human Indian : Parry 7 (with shield), Toughness 6(1)
When you open a game page, and you've been logged out, and when you sign in you stay logged out, clearing your cookie cache (for just Paizo, if you want to), is Paizo's official recommendation. I was logged out a couple of days ago, cleared my cache and once I logged in on one game page, they all became active (if you opened it before clearing, re-load it).
Male Human, Bennies 2 /3 Parry 4, Toughness 5, Wounds 0
Yup, tried that many times. but still going incognito is the only way for me to log on.
Human Indian : Parry 7 (with shield), Toughness 6(1)
Now I'm curious - what's an "incognito window"? How do you do that? Is that something generic you can do anywhere, or specific to just Paizo?

Flying Eagle wrote: Now I'm curious - what's an "incognito window"? How do you do that? Is that something generic you can do anywhere, or specific to just Paizo? It's a window that you open on your browser that doesn't include any of your usual cookies or tracking information, and deletes such information from itself after it's done. This way you can log into a site as if you had never been there before, and have anything you do there not stay stored on your browser.
In Chrome, it's ctrl+shift+n to open a new incognito browser window.
In Firefox, it's shift+ctrl+p.
Male Human, Bennies 2 /3 Parry 4, Toughness 5, Wounds 0
Yup that's it Winona. And I still can't get the site running on my normal window.
And when the help desk ask me to log on using a incognito window. My response was something like "I am old, what's a incognito window?"
