Background:

He grew up with a gambling father, who was shot down on the street in front of him for cheating at cards.

After his dad died, he sold all of his fathers gear, and vowed to make it on his own.

He ended up working for a rancher, conducting all sorts of jobs from wire fence fixing, to driving the chuck wagon on a drive. After he worked for a few years, he ran into a pair of cattle rustlers.

After the brief gunfight, he realized that he was both faster than most, and ended up picking up the downed rustlers guns.

He rode into town, selling off his old guns, and bought himself a new gunbelt for the 2 guns he just picked up.

The sheriff along with his boss, recommended that he depart, as they did not want any trouble and it was sure to follow.

During his drifting, he tried his hand at panning for gold, where he got moderately lucky and got a fair amount of money for what he picked up.

Once that dried up, he rode into a nearby town and restocked his supplies and ammo where he rode off.

After a couple of weeks he drifted into Unita County, he stopped at the Tavern to get a drink, and see if anyone was hiring a hand.
