Good day everyone,
I am polishing up the last of the slides and preparations but feel free to add your tokens to the slides and marching order. If not I can add them later as well.
I will post a introductory post just for any roleplaying before we kick off tomorrow.
Looking forward to facilitating your experience with this special!

![]() |

Somehow this is only my second scenario with Eclipse as the GM, which is just criminal. My first (and my first ever completed PFS scenario!) was as the kensai magus Caebricalius Melandrus in your Black Waters run back in 2018 and it was an absolute blast.
I added Roddy's token to the slides in the front. He's a beefcake, he can take some hits. Plus the closer he is to the action right off the bat, the better--he's basically useless at range.

![]() |

I am definitely more a player than a GM but I enjoy it as well. Also now in a position to GM more so excited to see everyone in more games!
I am glad you had fun! I always try to spice up the scenarios and make it as enjoyable as possible for Play by Post.
Thanks for adding him to the slides. There is also Perception and Initiative blocks if y'all want to add to that. If not I just pull them from the profiles when the first combat kicks off.
There will be starship options later so that is something to consider in the group as well.

![]() |

For starship options, I have access to the Mining Laser and Automated Defenses boons, if we want to use those. We can each only slot one starship boon, right?

![]() |

It is one Starship boon per person. But some may not be compatible with others.

![]() |

Lexicor does not have many boons yet, so not sure any can be slotted other than his faction.
@GM do we need to make selections for each of these level awards (weapon, consumable etc?) I was not sure if we update on the first slide with our init or just on our sheet.
Laser pistol and healing serum for Lexicor.

![]() |

You could make them at any time (applicable, most are during the mission) then I will just cross your name off when you do. Most so far have been one use per person except the ship ones that are a group decision.

As preparations wind down, a stillness settles over the crowd of Starfinders gathered on the command deck of the Master of Stars. First Seeker Jadnura, flanked by nominated First Seeker Luwazi Elsebo and the android Iteration-177, steps forward to an elevated captain’s platform and looks out over the assembled agents. Jadnura’s resonant voice carries across the assembly. “Starfinders! Today we gather not merely as explorers and scholars, but as defenders of the galaxy. Ever since the jinsuls ambushed our rescue mission into the Scoured Stars, they have assailed us and our allies at every turn. The danger the jinsuls present to our friends and homes cannot be ignored. We now know that they intend to awaken the divine being responsible for trapping our first expedition into the Scoured Stars. We know that this scheme threatens not only the Scoured Stars but all the space surrounding it. This leaves us with one mission: break the jinsul fleet and drive them from the Scoured Stars, putting an end to their depredations once and for all. Today we march to war!”
The Starfinders disperse to their ships and launch into orbit, assembling into either tactical strike formations or vanguards surrounding the larger vessels. The fleet’s synchronized screens flash to life, showing Luwazi Elsebo from her own command station. “We are ready to approach the Scoured Stars system from the outer orbit of the Agillae system’s star. The majority of our fleet will stay together to protect our supplies and support our ground troops, while our field agents are to scout the system and find the most strategic places to engage the jinsuls. Kadrical’s divine herald, Dhurus, is the head of the snake: find where he is hiding so we can direct our full forces against him. Once we close in on him, we can face down Dhurus on equal footing and end this conflict.”
Luwazi nods to the camera. “Stick together, support each other, and stay the course. We live or die as one today. Good luck, Starfinders. Fleet—activate Drift engines now!” The screen shuts off, and each formation of starships surges forward as a unit, vanishing into the Drift.
★ ---- ★ ---- ★ ---- ★
The Starfinder fleet emerges from the Drift as a single force, the three suns of the Scoured Stars burning brightly against the surrounding void. Moments later, onboard computers ping with streams of incoming data detailing nearby jinsul ships, planets with concentrated industrial activity, and further commands from the First Seekers. Several files emerge on the captains’ screens: briefings of locations where field agents could find useful information about how best to target the jinsul fleet’s weak points.
Table GMs close out preparations, Part 1 has started.

Hope everything is alright and I haven't been unclear on this section, if the skills are too far out of the groups wheelhouse we could move on as well.

![]() |

Sorry, been having a rough couple days. Also having a little trouble following exactly what's going on with this scene. Should have asked for more info on this scene earlier.
I think we've got a prisoner who wants to talk but needs a bit of encouragement. They are potentially a jinsul, but I don't have the Starfinder background to understand what that means in context.
We've rolled some checks but none of us seem particularly adept at this particular situation, probably time to move on I'd guess.

![]() |

I was working under the assumption each of us could attempt to coerce her only once. Is that correct? If so, I think we're stalled. Everyone with any bonus to Diplomacy has rolled it I think.

![]() |

It says the party can attempt each of the methods/checks twice but yeah it might be tough. I can move us forward if the group is out of ideas.
The prisoner is a Jinsul that sought out Starfinders to join them, switching sides but being a Jinsul there is a lack of trust so you are trying to get all the information from them to make sure they aren't tricking you.

Thanks to their "Healing Circuit" racial trait, SRO's can benefit from magical healing that affects living creatures, but the healing received is halved, and the Engineering skill must be used to perform any of the actions normally used for Medicine.
The upshot is that SRO's can still benefit normally from spells like make whole that normally only affect constructs.

![]() |

Also, thanks again folks for your help.
I played a demo at PaizoCon before it came out.
Into the Perplexity with Thursty about 18 months ago.
The Commencement last Feburary and now this.
Maybe I'll hit 2 Starfinder sessions this year.

No worries here. I hope everything turns out ok.

Hello!! Stopping by here to drop off an aid token! It is currently boosted with Allied Offensive. Use it well!!

![]() |

Totally unfamiliar with Starship combat, so may need a bit of help here.
Based on the AoN Starship Combat skills page brief description Gunner and then Science Officer are my preferences.
Unsurprisingly I'm good at the same skills as the other technomancer.
